Hello,

Our requirement is as below-

We have our client application which is chrome compatible application. As a integration process, we merged 4 sub component / applications in our existing client application. We now allowed users to connect these applications from chrome based client application by clicking on its Dashboard Icon. Once clicked, new chrome tab is getting opened and users can access that application.

The Problem here is - two of the applications were Firefox compatible applications due to which its UI appearance is not upto the mark in Chrome.

Could you please provide solution so that we can open those sub applications in new Firefox browser (from chrome browser)? We had checked firefox extension (add on) but its not useful as this will only open or convert current url in firefox browser.

Thanks .

Best regards, Anuprita Thakur.

Long time bug and annoyance for me. Firefox is my default browser for 10+ years.

When concentrating on reading a page, and slowly scrolling at the same time, the mouse cursor can drift off the scrollbar even though I have the mouse button held down. It is because I am focused on the page, the mouse can lose perfect vertical sliding action, so the cursor drifts into the page. Soon it can no longer hang on to the scrollbar and the page jumps back to the top.

Is there any fix that can stop this from happening ? The mouse cursor should stay on the scrollbar as long as I have the mouse button held down.

My Microsoft Office would not update properly and my build (1803 or 1809?) kept getting a message about "End of Service, no longer supported and I needed to install update). I worked with a Microsoft Tech for two days and she was unable to get the update to complete successfully. The final step was to try do a Windows "Recovery" and run the "Reset this PC".

A message stated apps would be deleted but it also stated it would keep my "personal files".

Ultimately, the "Recover" and "Reset this PC" worked and I was finally able to update my Windows to build 1909. However, in the process it appears to have deleted Firefox and all my login data, websites, bookmarks, favorites and passwords.

Once again i worked with a Windows tech to see if we could get Firefox data back but the "Window.old" doesn't appear to have kept any Firefox data as every account "Administrator", "User", "My Name", Visitor and Default either have no Firefox folder, contains no files in the Firefox folder, or has a file with today's and is only a few kb's in size. Also, the Firefox "Import and Backup" feature doesn't have any files saved except one that is dated today has 11 items and is 1kb.

The Windows tech stated I may be able to contact Firefox and gain access to my information using my login, email, phone number type credentials to verify my identity.

As anyone reading this can understand I'm lost without this data. I have close to seven years worth of passwords, bookmarks and folders saved in that Firefox. I literally can't login to anything because not only do I not know the passwords but I don't know any of the login names either. This means resetting an account or password on a majority of my websites like banking, medical, etc...is virtually impossible.

Thanks in advance for anyone reading this and I hope what I'm asking makes sense.

Basically, I'm just hoping my information may be saved on the Firefox side a cloud server or something and I'm hopefully able to gain access to it talking to the community or Firefox tech support?

I do have access to my email on my phone but I can't see or reset the password on it either because it asks me to enter my email password in order to get to the area that allows me to reset the password.

1. Yahoo is or has closed my account because I chose not to upgrade to their new system. How do I change my Firefox account using my new email ([email]@wavecable.com) ? 2. for some time I have been unable to print articles from the internet using Firefox while I can with Microsoft Explorer. I prefer to stay with Firefox except for this one inconvenience. I mentioned this to my printer support (Brother Printer) and they said that they could not help me and that I would need to go to Firefox Support.

My old Yahoo may not be working so please use my new email (xxx @wavecable.com)

Thank you very much for your help

Please help me return to being able to print webpages from Firefox to a pdf.

I installed my cd copy of Adobe Standard X when I bought my Windows 10 Thinkpad in December, 2019. It printed webpages to pdf just fine until 4 days ago.

I've attached 4 screenshots:

1) The Firefox error message I now get when I try to print a webpage.

2) This may not be relevant, but this is the page I got saying the screenshot couldn't be saved as a pdf or Word Doc.

3) The printer list in my Windows 10 settings, showing pdf is the default. I don't know if all along Firefox was printing from the version of Adobe I installed or something that came on the laptop.

4) The error message when I experimented to see if I could print to a pdf in Chrome.

Adobe quit supporting Adobe Standard X years ago, so I don't think that's the issue. Oddly, this happened right around the time Microsoft withdrew support from Office 2010, but I can't guess how that might be involved.

Hello, I just recently installed FF 82 on my Mac (Catalina) and noticed a weird bug when printing PDF files.

The printed page seems to have extra margins on the Top and left, so some of the info is printed off the page.

My FF version is not using the new print prompt that looks like Chrome's.

1) The document size is Letter 2) Printing with Letter paper selected and scale 100%. 3) Didn't change any margins or other settings. 4) Attached is what I got from the printer.

Is this a bug? Has anyone noticed something similar?

Firefox, latest version, keeps logging me out of sites. I have tried all troubleshooting suggestions offered on the web that I could find, short of starting all over by resetting profile, which I do NOT want to do.

Anyone have any suggestions other than the standard ones about cookies, preference settings having to do with cookies, private browsing, deleting all cookies, deleting cookies files in profile folder, extension issues, etc?

Thank you!

Hello.

I'm not sure how this happened, but I have a listing in Servers in the Certificate Manager with the following information:

Server: www.bignox.com:443 Certificate Name: VMware Lifetime: Permanent

Trying to go anywhere with bignox.com does not work as its using the VMware certificate for some reason. If I delete it and go to the site, Firefox says the site is not trusted. I cannot get to bignox.com via any other web browser (Edge, Chrome, etc..) as I get the same type of security warnings. I do have vmware on my computer. I can connect to bignox.com just fine inside the VMware. If I uninstall the VMware, then I get security exceptions.

My question is, where does Firefox see this information? I have no idea how this happened, but I would like to get rid of this association.

Thanks

Firefox was working normally earlier in the day. I'm not aware of any updates on my computer. I didn't install add-ins. When I click the firefox icon to launch the program, the cursor momentarily has the hourglass symbol then nothing happens. There is not error message. Firefox is not shown in the task manager list. The firewall has mozilla firefox in the list of allowed programs. I've tried rebooting, reinstalling, the refresh tool, deleting appdata files, temp files, anything I could find in the registry with mozilla in the name, then rebooting again then reinstalling. I don't want to go back to Chrome... =(
