Hi,

tab groups on Chrome/Edge really help me in my work. Once one subject is complete, I close all the related tabs. But I am a Firefox user. I do not want to move to a Goggle or MS product that wants me to sign in and collate all my data in one place.

I do not want to use a plug-in - I trust the code that Mozilla writes but struggle to trust code that a third party writes and also has a "Not monitored by Mozilla" banner.

As FF had this feature in the past, are they adding to the roadmap to bring it back in the future?

Hi. A few days ago my browser started misbehaving. On opening, instead of going straight to my home page, i got the following message:

Sorry. We’re having trouble getting your pages back.

We are having trouble restoring your last browsing session. Select Restore Session to try again.

Still not able to restore your session? Sometimes a tab is causing the issue. View previous tabs, remove the checkmark from the tabs you don’t need to recover, and then restore.

I didn't want my last browsing session back. Also, thinking about it, when i close the browser recently, it did just that...close. Without asking me if I wanted to close all the tabs. Presumably the two issues are related.

I have checked against other web browsers and only happens in Mozilla, within the last few weeks. I checked on multiple computers, still having the following problem. I use workspace by go daddy for my online email. I click on compose and the expected window pops to create the email message. When I get to the subject line. every time i use a space bar after typing in a word, the cursor automatically moves to the beginning of the line. This happens each time I type a new word in the subject line. NO other issue in to, cc, bcc, or main message body. This only happens at the end of the subject line. If i type in the middle with characters already on either side, the space bar does not reset.

Go Daddy tech support says it sounds like a browser problem

Thank you, Dr Steve

WHY did I get a screen from Colorway Software when I opened my browser this morning.

I was unable to close my Firefox browser.

I could not use my browser. Why was use of my Firefox blocked?

The messages were to click on a button to use Colorway or to use my original theme.

This looks like a SCAM or TROJAN attack.

WHY DID THIS COME UP??????

Can I trust Firefox to be safe???

I am taking a JavaScript (JS) class on Kahn Academy. Once I complete the class, I would like to practice coding on my own computer. . . that is, writing code and being able to test it locally. I'm told that JS is included in the FireFox browser and I've checked and verified that it is enabled in the "about:config" application.

My question is, how do I access the actual JS program. Where is it? How do I access it? What commands do I use to get into the program so that I can start writing, and testing my code?

Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Ever since my Firefox application was updated to 96, the application has become unstable. The only way I can load it is be typing Firefox =P on my terminal, and picking a profile. The usual approach produces a response that "Firefox" can't find my profile. After attempting to fix this for two days, my links, logins, bookmarks, are available sometimes or never.

The 96 version was a big mistake and never should have been installed on my computer, which is no connection to an "enterprise".

How can I recover a stable non-enterprise related version of Firefox?

Firefox is constantly removing safe extensions, re-approving them, then removing them again a couple days later. This is very frustrating, and is enough to make me permanently switch to Google Chrome, since they don't do this, and since I have to use that browser when Firefox messes with these extensions. I have been a stalwart Firefox user for years, but Firefox is pushing people like me away with this ridiculous behavior.

The best example is LastPass. Chrome seems to think it's perfectly safe, as it is not removing it. I use it and need it to be available for sites I need passwords for.

Unfortunately, however, Firefox regularly removes this essential extension and others, then, as I say, allows it again a day or two later, then removes it again.

Please, Firefox, figure this out! Otherwise, you're going to lose a lot of users and get a very bad reputation.
