What is the fix for solving the issue of having to scroll back down through the same bookmarks in a folder, instead of the folder holding its place from where you were working? This is ridiculous.

I have been dealing with an annoying problem after the latest update. I have some folders with multiple addresses on my "Bookmarks Toolbar" to check out some sites and accounts daily (Figure 1). Each folder contains more than one page (Figure 2) of bookmarks and I scroll down to open 10-12 addresses each time (Figure 2/3).

Before the update, there wasn't any problem and when I came back to the folder I could continue from my latest position (on that folder), the positions of the folders reset when I close firefox, but now after some seconds it jumps to the top of the folder and each time I have to scroll down and open some links very fast and while I try to open as much link as l can, it jumps to the top of the folder, It waste my time and energy.

I've noticed that every time I open a new tab and go to open my little Bookmark menu with the Star icon for the toolbar, the drop down menu will automatically be scrolled to the very top of the menu, where previously it would stay in the same place as before across all tabs. Is there a way to disable the menu from going back to the top for multiple tabs?

hello Firefox are you aware the latest version doesn't keep the previous bookmarks scrolled location, and returns to the top every time. this is very unhelpful hopefully you can return it to normal very soon ? anyone know if this is being addressed ?

hi i have a folder with lots of bookmarks in it the newer bookmarks always store at the bottom of the list ever since the upgrade of firefox, every time i click that folder it shows the first bookmark now instead of my last visited one at the bottom of the folder and i have to scroll to the bottom of the list every time i go to that bookmark folder which is very time consuming and cumbersome.

before the upgrade of the firefox, it would recognize my last visited bookmark and would always take me to the same location whenever i clicked that folder, which is not the case now.

can you kindly advise a solution. thanks

I just updated to Firefox 110.0 and now I'm having a problem with my bookmarks. Previously, if I selected a bookmark website that was...say, half way down my list of bookmarks, the next time I went to my bookmarks it would start where I last left it (or in this example, half way down the list). Now, whenever I go to my bookmark list, it ALWAYS starts back at the top and I have to scroll down to get to where I last was. I have a tendency to bookmark multiple sites for me to go back to and check out but now I have to scroll through ALL of my bookmarks to get to the bottom to pull the site up...check it out and see if there is any useful info there, then go to the next site. Now I have to scroll all the way from the top again to get to the bottom (or wherever I was last). Is there a way to make the bookmarks default to how they used to be (starting when you return to the last bookmark you left off at)?

In other bookmarks i have hundreds of bookmarks, it takes me a minute or two to get to the bottom. earlier when i selected a bookmark it would turn up at the same place, when i come back to other bookmarks, but it now starts at the top every time. ?

This just started this week but I have hundreds of twitter bookmarks in my twitter bookmark folder and so when I go lower in the folder and open one and go back to the folder it is at the very top bookmark of the folder again. As you can guess this is very annoying because I have to scroll for a while to get back the bookmarks I was at towards the bottom of the folder. I updated Windows and Nvidia graphics driver. I used CCleaner to clean junk out of my system. I have the latest Firefox browser as well. This has never been a problem so far and I can't find a solution anywhere for this. Can anyone help?

Starting yesterday, for some reason when I access my bookmarks, I have to start from the very top of all my lists of bookmarks. In the past when I accessed a bookmark, and then a clicked on the bookmark tab to access ANOTHER bookmark, my bookmark list would show where I had left off from the previous bookmark within that list.

Now when I access a another bookmark after I had accessed a previous bookmark, my bookmark list starts from the very top of it instead of where I was previously within that bookmark list. Being I have many bookmarks, (100's) it is a real pain to have to constantly scroll down from the top of my bookmark list every time to access another bookmark. I didn't have to do this previously. When I accessed bookmarks AFTER I accessed a given bookmark, the bookmark list stayed where I was previously located within my bookmark list. This made it easy to access my next bookmark selection! It sure is handy being all the hundreds of bookmarks I have, to have the list not ALWAYS revert back to the top of my bookmark list every time I want to find a bookmark!

This peculiar situation just started yesterday. In the past this would NOT happen when I accessed my bookmarks.

Looking at the bookmark manager and bookmark library I don't see options the change how the bookmark list is presented? 

Can someone please help me and explain how do get back my old bookmark list actuation process? Thank you.

With the latest build of firefox, whenever I access my bookmarks at the bottom or anywhere near, firefox automatically scrolls to the top of my bookmarks, it NEVER did that before, can you help??

It does this every time I go to the bottom of my bookmarks and open a link in a new tab,  it scrolls to the top of my bookmarks, very bizarre.

Ever since Firefox went to version 110, when I click on a bookmark to open it that is in the middle of the alphabetized list like starting with the letter 'G', it takes me to the page, but if I want to go to the next bookmark down in alphabetical order Firefox goes back to the letter 'A' at the top of the list making me scroll all the back down to 'G" again. When you have 200 or more bookmarks, this can be frustrating. Is there a way to fix? Thanks.
