I am able to start FF with no problem. I open a few tabs and then without warning I can't access any of the sites without closing FF and restarting. Then the whole cycle is repeated. I am considering getting rid of FF this started just over a month ago.

I'm using Firefox 124.0.2 (64 bit) on Windows, and every few days I get the error about using an older version of Firefox, with Exit or Create New Profile options. I then run "firefox -allow-downgrade" from the command prompt and everything works fine... for a few days, when it happens all over again. This only started happening a couple of weeks ago, but it's getting really annoying. How do I stop it (short of using something like Waterfox or Brave).

I have played "Hero Wars,Dominion Era " for years on Fire Fox...They did an "update" last week(Thursday or friday 04/25-26?24)and I haven't been able to log onto the game itself since...I can still open the Hero wars home page,I can get into my "discord" chat etc etc etc,but I cannot get into my individual game.(If it helps,my Hero wars game ID # is 10920140)...I had to start playing the game itself on Google Chrome...I am hopeing you can help find a solution as everything I do is from Fire Fox & I really don't like chrome :(...PLEASE Help me resolve this if possible! ( Nexus suggested I use "Incognito" on FireFox ( I remeber that from a few yrs back,but honestly,i haven't used or seen "incognito" since :()

When logging into an account there are multiple usernames (incorrect or older.) I would like to remove or delete them, but keep the current passwords.

Is that possible without deleting the account?

So I'm having issues playing 4K videos fully on one YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@ClearviewDriving

For some reason anything above 1080p gives me bad stuttering but on other channels videos don't stutter or freeze when playing 1440p or 4K quality.

Firefox is updated, I don't use Extensions other than Ad Blocker and I have that off on YouTube anyway. Seems strange that it'd only affect one specific channel.

I have a very good gaming PC too so the hardware isn't the issue.

WHY IT LOGGED OUT ALL MY ACCOUNTS FROM TABS WHEN EVER I CLOSE MY BROWSER, I HAVE TO RE-LOGIN AGAIN AND AGAIN, WHICH IS SO SO FRUSTRATING..................................

I want to enable cookies for outlook and google, the rest I dont want.

I have attempted to look at the cookie's url for outlook and add that to the exception list, but outlook still harasses me with its annoying 2fa

How do I find the actual address to put in the exceptions list to stop this issue?

I have recently refreshed Firefox on my laptop running MacOS. Previously I had changed the full-screen-transition in about:config to be zero, but since refreshing changing the setting hasn't disabled the transition. My config is this currently: full-screen-api.transition-duration.enter 0 0 full-screen-api.transition-duration.leave 0 0 full-screen-api.transition.timeout 0 Despite everything being like before the transition persists... I'm currently on the latest version of Firefox (125.0.3)

I am autofilling an ELSA payment portal. Firefox autofills the payment information correctly. But the program will not recognize the autofilled information and doesn't let me process the payment. I then overwrite all my information and then it allows me to proceed with the payment. I have used the same procedure for years but as of this last week, the autofilled information is not recognized as I click the "Continue" button after the autofilled info is complete, and it won't work. The ELSA source (State of Wisconsin) person said it's a browser problem on my end. No. The online form autofills just fine. Can anyone help? Thanks. Jeff

So on my macbook when I enable fullscreen the anmation is super weird. first it stretches the video to the top and then just expands to the whole screen, when I go out of fullscreen is stretches to the bottom and then goes out off fullscreen. for example on safari it just expands the video until it takes up the whole screen. I have gone in about:config and disabled the fullscreen animation but that did nothing.

I had to reinstall windows and it wipe Firefox.i didn't know my password so I resetted it. Problem is it wiped all my data. Didn't know changing passwords for forefox would so this. Anyway I can get them back?

I've got a really old MacBook Pro that's still running 10.13, and Firefox has started displaying a nag screen telling me that this version is no longer supported, and to install a newer version of MacOS.

Is there something in the advanced settings that will stop it nagging me? I now know it's not going to get any more updates, there's no need to keep telling me every 20 minutes...

(Note to the devs: a "don't remind me again" checkbox would be nice for things like this!)

The fundamental nature of dementia and Alzheimers is that the victim cannot remember new information. But for some time they can recall information and processes which were learned previously.

After some years, they will be unable to utilize any of the technology they depend upon - they will not be able to turn on their device to make a phone call. They won't be able to locate the menu they need to utilize. Because all that changes CONSTANTLY. They will become helpless sooner than necessary. They will strain their families and the taxpayer sooner than necessary.

The only solution is for software makers to roll out, every 5 or 6 years, a "stable version" where the user interface will not change one iota for 25 years. Of course, they must still make internal updates for security and changes in the Internet Protocol layer system. The portions of the code that deal with the user must be modular to be plugged into newer hardware and communication protocols.

When someone is diagnosed with memory impairment, they will have time to learn the latest Stable Version.

This is a very fundamental change to business as usual, but there is no other solution other than continuing to balloon the cost of elder car.

 One of my email accounts Yahoo or Gmail appears to have been hacked. I received two phishing emails this week --3 if you count the last one who said she was calling on behalf of Medicare/Social Security and All members could get a preloaded card for several hundred dollars. I knew there was a plan to help certain folks, but it was not available to everybody. I asked her for the name of the plan and she hung up. the webpage she sent me to first or told me to go there where I could talk to a licensed agent. Do people who answer the phone have a license like insurance salespeople? Anyway, they had copied the govt. the site is right up the US sea.

but it did something as I can't use my password They cancel your account if you tell them the truth --better just to say I need help resetting my password. They then ask you to send them a picture ID as in Driver's License. Noway I am going to do this --so I have at least some pretty valuable info if I can't get in.

I would like the address bar to show what it would show when you type a "?" just by clicking. It's a default feature in chrome, I know, mentioning a competitive browser as an example is kind of a no no, but it's the only example I can think of.
