Since late last night, I've been having issues connecting to Facebook when using Firefox. Through my own troubleshooting efforts, I've run multiple Virus and Malware scans via AVG, Malware Bytes, TDSS Killer and Microsoft Safety Scanner, to no avail. What doesn't help is that when checking Facebook in Chrome, the error code I get is NET::ERR_SSL_OBSOLETE_VERSION relating to TLS 1.0 and 1.1. Are there other things I should try on my end as to the cause of this issue?

To my knowledge, the issue is only with Facebook. Other websites I frequent are connecting with no issues.

I have just installed 91.1 ESR. On opening the first time I am offered to "Choose a theme" or "Not now". I chose Not now.

I expected that I would then be able to go into the settings menu somewhere and find the options:

  • Streamlined Toolbar and menus
  • Modern tabs
  • Fresh icons and clearer messages

I do not find these under Settings nor under the installed Themes. I'm not even sure these are a Theme as much of a Style??

Any help on this is appreciated. Searching the title was of no help.

We are running FF ESR 78.14.0. I see that ESR 91.1 is now out. I have seen this article on Firefox ESR release cycle, but not able to find out what the schedule is (ie overlap) for 78 and 91 releases. I am trying to do some upgrade planning. I expect 91.2 will auto upgrade and like to know how soon, otherwise I may need to manual update machines.

It would be nice if this page could be kept up to date for the relevant releases.

Driving the question is a specific issue with QuickBooks Payments not working in 78, which I am assuming has to do with something they consider obsolete security wise.

Hiya, I use bookmarks to keep a track of music I plan to listen to, and I had set up my folders so I could see everything in a subfolder on my screen. Now the font size or something changed and I can't see everything all at once on my screen. I don't have the time or energy right now to even think about trying to reorganise it all. Is there a way I can lower the font size or something to get back the space I lost?

When trying to access this website with Firefox 92.0 (Mac OS10.15.7), I get a message that my log in data (user ID, password) is not correct. However, using Safari my login is successful, and the same using my iPhone or iPad. I have raised the issue with the operator of the website, but thought that maybe there is something that can fix the problem directly in Firefox ??

According to the release info for the latest update (Version 92.0):

"The bookmark toolbar menus on macOS now follow Firefox visual styles."

I have no idea what that means or how to fix it! All I know is that the lists of bookmarks I have saved under toolbar tabs are now all double-spaced. I don't want them double-spaced — that makes all the lists twice as long! I just want them the way they were before the update . . . HELP!!!

When I go to google.com and do a search the results page has the "tools" button but it does not work. The "people also ask" categories are also broken (they will not expand), and, if I click the "images" filter button to view images associated with my search it either shows no images (or only a few images) and a bunch of blank boxes. I have found that if I hold the shift key and click the reload button everything is back and working properly until the next time I do a google.com search, then it is back to the same odd behavior. So, my assumption here is that either a cookie or some site data is corrupting the results page for my search. Running Firefox 92.0 (64-bit) on a Windows 7 Dell machine and everything was working fine until about two months ago. Also, Chrome does not show the same behavior. BTW. I have also done everything I have found that was recommended to fix Firefox issues with Google search. Run Firefox in private mode, run without plugins, changed themes, created new profile, I even completely uninstalled Firefox and did a clean install all with the same results. Any help is appreciated. It is almost got me ready to move back to Chrome.

hello there i have the following problem the company i work for has unistalled remotely firefox from my laptop, and i do not have any way to re-install it back i have managed in some way to obtain a copy of portable firefox on the same laptop since i was not informed about this process, i have not saved my password externally and unfortunately, i was not using a firefox profile

in few words: i do not have my passwords anymore

i have seen that in such folder: C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox

there are still saved three subfolders (one of them has the last modified date as 13th Sep, meaning today), therefore i think that my profile (and all relevant passwords) are still there somewhere

i would like to understand if and how i can import the passwords from the unistalled firefox in the portable firefox: i have already tried to copy those directories in: C:\Users\XXX\Desktop\FirefoxPortable\Data\profile

but no success, passwords are not importyed. please, i need help

thanks.

I installed two versions of Firefox: Mozilla Firefox and Mozilla Firefox Developer Edition. Typically, in Window 10, you can open a browser by pressing Win+R and typing "firefox", but with two versions installed, this always opens the version I don't want.

Since the latter version is always opened, I think it's related to the installation order, but I don't want to reinstall my browser. So is there any configuration available?
