Firefox crashes almost immediately upon startup. Have run through each step of: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-crashes-closing-or-quitting

and while I wasn't able to get the RAM memory test application to work, none of the other steps worked either.

I have a content filter installed on this computer, that's the only other thing I can think of that is causing the issue. Help would be greatly appreciated.

FireFox 120 unable to update(!) on Win11 Home (recently updated) & my android 13 phone this evening. I'm using Waterfox G6.06 to be able to write to you! ERROR: MOZILLA_PKIX_ERROR_SELF_SIGNED_CERT for any site except google mail ?!

First noticed issues when using X.com on my phone (stopped loading even after 2x cold boots) I use FF Beta on it; downloaded FF full for Android & X still don't load. Still can't get FF to update itself. Tried the Installer for Win & no go. Sigh.

Since updating to 120.0 on a win 11 pro platform, clicking a link on a webpage no longer opens it in a new tab. Options to do this and switch to the new page are both checked in general / tabs / settings. Any ideas why this is happening?

The problem is:

1. in Firefox browser with a saved to hard drive file the HTML file is default to Firefox and on double clicking goes into the mask (incomplete missing graphics) 2. click on desired filed nothing happens 3. reset to MS edge as the default browser and functionality is there...

Is there a setting in Firefox that I am not seeing?

I am receiving the following error message when I try to Manage Autoship on Chewy.com:

The page isn't redirecting properly"

"Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete."

• This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies."

This had not been an issue previously. What can I do to fix it?

I was also blocked from downloading Chrome. Was this caused by last update?

After reinstalling Windows 11 Pro on a newly installed SSD my browser resets location and size to default. Nothing listed here in support or found elsewhere through a web search has made a difference. Also, if I leave Firefox open for an extended period of time so that the browser stays where I put it, and keeps the same size, it will crash. As a test, I had Windows resize the browser to the full monitor, closed it, and when I reopened Firefox it filled the monitor. A second time closed and reopened a few minutes later resets back to default location and size. Everything else (bookmarks, extensions, etc.) remains the same. Nothing has been added or removed since the fresh install.

This is the latest version, 23H2, of Windows 11 Pro, which, btw, was the version I was running before the fresh install of Windows 11 Pro.

How can this be corrected?

Hello all, I have three devices, two laptops, and android phone. I have all three synced and running that way no problem other than one thing I have had an open question for since oct 2nd about mass opening synced tabs into active tabs...

Question here is, is there an active sync? like, I want it when I open a new tab on my android, it automatically opens same tab on both laptops, or i open something on a laptop, and the other laptop and android open it as well. same for closing and all that

Im not looking for it to auto complete forms or anything like that, just keep the same tabs opened across all devices

Unable to install Firefox on WIN11. Wants to create a profile but get "An unexpected error has prevented your changes from being saved. (This is a new Desktop unit I received today and have not had any problems with WIN10.

Hello! I'm on Windows 11 and when trying to update QBittorrent, if I download the last setup.exe from it's official source with Firefox, the file won't open. No error message, no crash, nothing. No amount of double click or "run as admin" will get it to budge. I've had the problem with the last three versions of QBittorrent.

However, when I download the same .exe from the same website with Microsoft Edge, it runs like a charm and I'm able to update QBittorent.

What's weird is that it's not even consistent; I always get that bug with QBittorrent but the other .exe files I downloaded run just fine. I only use Windows Defender for malware protection and it doesn't see the QBittorrent file as a menace. I tried downloading the file to another location than my desktop but the issue persists.

Is there something I can do to fix this?

I'm having an issue that has been going on for some time now and it finally has me at wits end. My Account sync keeps disconnecting where I have to go through the sign in process again and again. I have searched multiple times for this issue and have seen that others have suffered from the same issue with no clear solution to the problem. I have now tried with several Firefox desktop versions including my preferred browser being Firefox Unbranded, and every single one disconnects me several times daily.

Does anyone have a solution to this issue?

Hi, I have a problem as my Facebook keeps freezing on Mozilla when I try to add emojis to a post, I have tried all the recommended actions but the issue still persists but it works normaly on MS Edge when I perform the same actions. Help !

When I use the Firefox browser and attempt to open my Evernote, after I enter the password, it will not open on my desktop. I nearly always use Firefox (and prefer it); however, I can easily open Evernote if I use Chrome. How do I correct this problem? Thanks, Jan

Opening browser with google.com as part of my home page 'group' or open a new tab no longer signs me into google. It use to. I have already cleared my cookies and cache (pain having to log back into my usual sites). It worked for a day, but zip now. Getting ready to leave my favorite browser since the SeaMonkey days!!

I switched from Chrome to Firefox a couple weeks ago. Everything seemed to go fine at first but now my laptop is not syncing bookmarks with my Android phone or desktop PC. My about:sync-log is filled with errors every few minutes. When browsing through them, I see a common reference saying the master password is locked and it can't sync but the primary password option is unchecked in my settings. Interestingly, nothing happens when I click sign out under my profile and I have to go to the Mozilla manage account screen and sign out from there. Sometimes when I do that and log back in, bookmarks will sync once and then error out again. Any assistance you can provide would be appreciated.

Firefox hangs when I try to maximise the window. If the firefox window is covering half of my screen and I try to maximise by clicking on the window button at the top right, it hangs. I get a message "firefox is not responding, wait or exit." Then I have to select close, and start it again to work. This happens occasionally, once in every 2-3 days.

At first Firefox opened and then immediately closed. Then it simply wouldn't open. I uninstalled it. Changed my profile (as per a suggestion in Support I read about). Reinstalled it. It opens now in "safe/troubleshoot" mode for a few moments. I checked the crash report and there are no current crash reports which might help me with the problem. I can't log back in as it keeps closing after I enter username and try to enter password - i don't think its a password issue - it closes all the time even at other places. I'm at my wits end and don't want to abandon Firefox. Any thoughts appreciated. Many thanks, A
