Firefox crashed and when it did all my history was gone. All of it. For months if not years. I need to get the history from about the last month back. I am not asking for community people to answer as I already checked that and there is no accountability, clarity, ability to confirm etc. etc. etc. I am asking the engineers at Mozilla to please give me the method that will surely work and is user friendly. I am willing to pay a small fee if necessary.

As I am a corporate website administrator and I use an ultra-wide monitor with a resolution of 3840x1600 pixels, I need to be able to run firefox with window size of full HD to verify the compatibility of the site for common displays.

How can I ensure that the Firefox window always starts at this size?

In the case of Chrome, you just add the parameter -window-size=1920,1080

Unfortunately, this solution does not work here (so it worked in older versions).

I found some plugins that promised this, but none worked correctly.

I find the option to set a default size to be very basic and essential and prevents me from switching from Chrome to Firefox.

I'm currently consuming APIs hosted on an external server using Java( or any other server side language), and everything works smoothly. However, when attempting to consume the same APIs in JavaScript, I encounter the 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' error.

After some research, I discovered that browsers implement security checks leading to this issue. Can anyone advise on how to disable these security checks or resolve this issue when accessing the website in the Firefox browser? Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

i made a custom firefox colour setup for my desktop machine, and it doesn't have any option to save it- because of this, on my laptop which is synchronized to my desktop's firefox settings, it is not showing up at all and if i go to firefox colour it isn't there for me to add. so how do i DO this???

i do not want to maker my custom setup public so it is not available to all, it is my own setup using some of my own artwork which i do NOT want made public on the internet.

there MUST be a way to save it however and let my laptop's firefox also display it,m yes???

and on that topic, why isn't it just automatically synchronizing when everything else does?

When using multi-point headphones (I'm using open-runs) that are connected to my Windows 10 computer, while Firefox is open, the headphones think that audio is playing, even when it is not.

Closing Firefox fixes the issue, but playing any music from youtube/soundcloud and then pausing it does nothing to tell the multi-point headphones that audio is no longer playing.

Any help on getting Firefox to not do this is appreciated.

Hello, Firefox is set as my default browser. However, when I click on a link in an email or website, it always open in Chrome. I cannot get it to open in Firefox. thanks for your help.

Здравствуйте. К своему стыду не могу разобраться. Поставил опции, во вкладке безопасность, удалять Куки и Историю по выходу из Firefox. При этом история сохраняется, при последующем запуске браузера. Так же при следующем запуске браузера, при авторизации на сайтах, автоматически заполняется поле "логин", "телефон". Как сделать что бы не заполнялся и была очищена история? Спасибо.

I can make it smaller but it is too small to begin with. If I use Brave or Edge (using the same printer) it works I can adjust it and make it bigger up to 200 %. I have already reset the printer options in Firefox and tried when disabling all add-ons.

windows 10 pro pc show all the booklinks however, synch to an Iphone 14 to ipad 9th generation and it does not synch. I have tried all the fixes and nothing works. Time to stop using Mozilla products? what the devil is going on with the Mozilla staff? Hard to provide a contribution when products don't work!

I had Wavve.co app installed on my laptop. Was using it but started to have problems (ie, the app slowing and then not working at all). Firefox showed me a message that said something to the effect that this page was slowing down the browser, did I want to "Stop Page"?

So I clicked "Stop Page", but now even after doing a reset to a date PRIOR to installing the app, I still cannot access the app on this laptop. Will I now need to switch to another browser to continue working with Wavve? Is there ANY way to UNDO that action? Suggestions?

I want the tab button to stop navigating any web page. Im tired of the alt tab shortcut moving my focus around and forcing me to completely refresh a page just to interact with it again.

Please do not tell me to use about:config browser.toolbars.keyboard_navigation. It doesnt work because its not what im looking for. I want to disable the tab key in my browser. Period. 100% gone. Stop bothering me ever again type deal.

Is there a way to disable tab key navigation that doesnt require a year of coding experience with an obscure addon that probably doesnt work as of 10 updates ago?

I want GPO option in ADDS, which do not open closed pages where i login by user and password. For example udemy.com where i logged by user and password, close Mozila. Next open mozila put udemy.com and it open last session as authenticated status (User and Pass). I do not want this.

After facebook messenger upgraded their security chat with end to end encryption call/video is not possible in firefox. Call/video buttons even disappeared. However i can call from microsoft edge web browser for example. Is this some kind of bug with mozilla? Anyone have experienced this too?

I've read all of the recommendation on how to keep links from opening in another window. Tried them all to no avail. This is a new problem. Anybody out there finding the same issue? Find a fix?

This AM, I opened my Firefox Browser for the first time today and attempted to sign into my EaseUS account. I was confronted by a "request" to add "Browsing Safety by Safely" as an add-on to my Firefox. However, it would not let me to skip this "request" without adding it to Firefox. Nothing I attempted worked. I've never heard of a compulsory add-on, least of all from Mozilla! If I would have had the time, I'd have tried different accounts/log-ons/browsers, etc. However, I didn't have the time to do it then. Help please.

What is this? Have you heard of it? Do I have a problem? Should I remove the Add-On?

My company uses Oracle Fusion as its ERP solution, and I frequently have to download files from Oracle BI Publisher. Prior to V123 of Firefox, which installed this morning, I could click on the file/report in Oracle Fusion, and the file/report would get moved to my Downloads folder. After the update to V123, nothing happens after I click on the file. I had a co-worker replicate the problem after his Firefox updated to V123. Please advise if this is a known issue and if there is a resolution.
