I use the following crossword site:

https://thenewdaily.com.au/puzzles/quiz-crossword/

When I open it with Firefox, including the latest version, the "Help" icons are replaced by mathematical symbols. If I use Microsoft Edge, the Help icons are there.

Any feedback will be appreciated.

I have had this issue for a long time so in multiple versions of firefox where images of different types don't load correctly and are replaced with a garbled tv-test image type.

On the attached image you can see an example where dots on the map wont show correctly. Can this be some sort of privacy setting I have enabled withot knowing? I have reset firefox but still get the issue.

Since a few weeks ago, I get a blank page when trying to access www.mapillary.com with the title "Mapillary cookie policy". This happens without adblockers or cookies disabled. It also happens in private and safe mode.

What could be causing this?

Hi. I use Firefox for years and with the actual problems searching for a replacement did not find another browser, that I myself would consider as equivalent (in first place concerning privacy and ad-free browsing). The problems started with version 83 or 84 and there has nothing changed since. As I have no own Internet connection, I use to store the webpages on my disk to view them later offline. However, in lots more than 50% (probably over 75%) of save trials, Firefox fails! What I try to do is "Save As" and then selecting "as webpage, complete". In the "Downloads" tab, the page appears with the word "Failed" (instead of "Completed" + file size) below the filename. As I really need this feature, I actually use Google Chrome, that saves the pages properly. But, as I said, I'm not willing to give up the browser I trust and that I consider being simply the best. Thanks for any suggestions.

The issue is when the youtube video is being viewed (only happens on youtube), it suddenly freezes with a healthy grey bar and a connection, while the audio continuously plays on. After the freeze or stutter, the video never gets out of sync with the audio but actually jumps ahead to where tit is. Meaning I'd lose out on 1-3 seconds of visual footage which I have to rewind to watch again. After the rewind the video doesn't get stuck on the same spot but further down it happens again. It sometimes never happens on some videos I watch but the ones that it does happen, If I went back to watch it again (refreshing tab or finishing the video then coming back) It happens again. Usually repeats within 5 minutes of it happening at minimum. Which is very annoying.

At first I thought this could be a issue on my display drivers. I went searching for solutions all over the web. Common reasons I got for this was that my internet might be slow. Which is bit true ig. But I can view up to 1080p videos without buffering or any problems. So Idk how that's the case. Another reason I got was that it might be hardware acceleration, which I turned off before I got the problem again. Another suggested add ons might be the case. So I turned some off and under more advice used a completely new portable app of firefox (no logins, addons or settings changes) and I got the same results. I also reinstalled display drivers. Disabled the hardware acceleration of the new clean app. And still got the issue. The only time I didn't get the issue was when I was using Chrome. Or Edge.

I've cleared cache and all data, history as well. So I'm really stumped. Someone asked me to make a completely new windows local user admin account and try again. And it happened there as well.

Edit : While trying to get evidence of this, I've discovered that sometimes if I rewind twice or go back more than I usually do the stutter tends to usually repeat on the same place. You can see it in the video.

Hi I have been having a few problems getting some websites to work properly in Firefox, even when I disable all my extensions (uBlock Origin, DeCentraleyes, HTTPS Everywhere) and also disable enhanced tracking protection.

It has happened with a few websites, but I investigated one yesterday. It failed to load video on Firefox, but had no problem loading it on Edge. The video content was hosted on a site named Wistia.com (which loads just fine by itself).

What settings should I change in Firefox to enable this type of content to work?

I'm using the latest version of Firefox on Mac High Sierra and sometimes it has the issue where the letter y is missing in the body text, but for one website, and only one, it breaks the URL https://www.optus.com.au/about/sustainability/community/donate-your-data (see screenshot) which seems odd as the URL displays correctly in the URL bar.

I'm an avid keyboard user, and I'm trying to use the alt + n shortcuts for switching tabs, while watching in a video on a website (more specifically unity). But every time I press alt + n udemy interprets it as skipping around in the video. And firefox aborts the switching of the tab. This is literally driving me crazy.
