I'm trying to change password, but am unable to get confirmation of email. Also tried to get confirmation of 'username', but no response to my gmail was received. Tried many times on two different computers, which have been logged onto to my FF account for such a long time that I have forgotten the password. Tnx

What is the domain from which you send the account validation email? This would be *very* helpful to have this available.

I've been trying for weeks now to get my primary email address confirmed: paul at kinzelman.com It worked immediately to my secondary gmail account.

I've worked with my domain ISP guy and he's combed thru the logs and he's getting no email related to firefox validation at the time I'm asking for another confirmation.

If you're using amazonses.com I've checked there and there's no blacklist on my email.

Suggestions?

i tried to sign into my account, it tells me wrong password. i select forgot password, it says verify imfomation i do that. then it says, sending email to my account, i cannot get into my account to follow the directions from the email that firefox sends me. i've done this 3 times already. i am getting aggravated.

got a new computer, use only firefox for browser as with previous computer..my username and password don't work and after 4 tries to get a confirmation email none have arrived...along with this, my firefox keeps hanging up and get message "plug in container for Firefox has stopped working or firefox not responding...I am not an experienced computer person (average skills) but can't seem to get anything to fix these issues

Cannot sign in to Mozilla Support although I could sign in to sync previously TODAY. From sync I could not sign in to any other Mozilla site, including this one. When I tried to hit link " I have this problem too" page greyed out and small box in center said "you have an error" or similar wording. Somehow this site allowed me to enter by creating a new username and new Mozilla Support account. It is unknown if this context window report will survive or if anyone will be able to contact my email. Using same email account and password to sign up, yet new username. A message keeps appearing at the lower part of screen informing me that my user email or password is not correct; although when I hit on the button to enter these fields it allows me into my FF sync account. But no other accounts are accessed by my sync account contrary to info on various Mozilla pages that ( I could not send message questions on them or sign in) I landed in while searching for answers. I hope you can follow what I am saying and help me. (1) cannot sign in to any Mozilla sites except sync. Even that is only accessed by hitting a "preferences" button at the end of the reoccurring error message that pops up several times a day on bottom of page. (2) how do I stop the reoccuring error pop up at page bottom informing me that sync has encountered error in my email or password and cannot sign in (by itself) to sync when I do nothing to cause the pop up, it just keeps showing up randomly.

   please help me, these things are major bugs in FF and Mozilla sign in on all help forums. If this gets thru it will be the exception.

I couldn't remember if I ever asked a question or not. Thus I asked it to send me my user name. The GUI said a message was sent to my email, but no message ever arrived. In the end I didn't have an account. Still this looks like a bug to me. Instead of sending a message that I am not known, it sent nothing at all - in spite of the fact that it said an email was sent.

So i went through it again and changed it to something different and guess what? It said that it to was invalid!, but it just worked to sign in here!! So what gives?

I recently started using linux and with it came iceweasel. I created a new email account and wanted to change the one i was using to sync iceweasel (firefox). So i removed the previes email, but when i entered the new email, i send the confirmation link to a wrong email. So should i be worried. I resend the confirmation link and entered a new password. But i'd like to know, what really happens when you make a mistake like this.

Kindly send me a new password since the one I applied and you accepted when I installed Firefox on my computer tonight is not working. Repeatedly have tried to login, failed due to the fact your new password being sent to my email never arrived, repeatedly checked my email and the site says it was sent again and again and there is nothing. Leads me to think the reason for this is you do not want me to apply privacy on my computer so early with the set up. Regardless there are other people with the same problem. So far my experience has not been a satisfactory one. Please correct the problem on your end. It is now after 3 am and I want to go to sleep. Thank you in advance for fixing the problem. P.S.Hoping this policy at Mozilla that brings about this convenience is corrected.

The original question was about Firefox not working after installation of java version 8 update 66, but I can't ask that question because I have to "verify" my email and Firefox, which the verification system wants to use, isn't working. I'm using a different email address this time in the hope that it will refer to a different browser.

For some months, I've tried to sign into my firefox account. It tells me you send new password email, but non ever arrives. Tonight when I started trying to figure out why we are having such troubles, I got your "please donate" messages, and decided we could do that. At this point, I'm not so sure I'm glad I did sigh. Still not able to sign in, still no new password email, and when i clicked "refresh my firefox", it deleted all my add-ons. Hubby finally gave up an hour ago and went to bed. His Windows 8 laptop was working so slow he was discouraged.

We've used firefox for about 15 years, and have been very happy -- except when new updates come out and we have no clue what happened nor what to do.
