What can Y do to replace all my passwords into only one : - having something from the alphabet and some current number (eg ABC321) - which is only valid for a chosen period as chosen by a user (eg until March 2021) - that informs me by a message like "Be attentfull : your password is soon retired. Renew it soon" - that can be used on an old Pc with Microsoft Vista.... - ...and on a relative new laptop with Windows10 - also on a HuaWay if possible - when I am dying, the password should further exists until the password time is gone.

In this case I never have to make and hide a list where I can forget the hidden place or finding old (wrong) passwords or never forget what the other passwords were.

I am trying to sign in to Outlook.com to get my email, which I have been doing for years and all of a sudden Firefox is telling me it is an Insecure Connection. I had signed in earlier today, and logged off by mistake and tried to log back in and continue to get this message. I tried to go through Google and that didn't work. I used my phone and could get in with no problem. Help. I would like to use my computer rather than my cell phone to connect to my email.

I have a new Dell XPS 13 with the current version of Windows 10. I only use Firefox (83.0 64bit) for internet access. CCleaner (free version, 5.74.8198 64 bit) tells me that I have accumulated 5000 some trackers since my last cleaning 3 days ago. Is CCleaner wrong? Is Dell or Windows 10 adding trackers when I am not using my browser? I have not cleaned out the Dell bloatware because I have not had time to see whether some are useful.

I did not have this issue on my old Lenovo laptop. I would get trackers but not 5000 in 3 days.

Suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hello All, I struggle with Firefox and Windows CA.

I have installed in AD Windows CA and I want also use Firefox. I generated certificates, propagated to clients and on Chrome and Edge everything works as well.

Only on firefox i still have prompt about certificate: "MOZILLA_PKIX_ERROR_CA_CERT_USED_AS_END_ENTITY"

Due to tutorials I have set up GPO where i force "security.enterprise_roots.enabled", true" option but it doesn't work.

I have read the problem is with basicConstraints CA but I can't disable those module from certificate template in Windows CA.

I have also accepted certificates in Firefox.

What I can do to force Firefox to accept Windows CA certificates.

Regards

I am the administrator for a Weebly website. Yesterday, when I try to log into this website on Firefox, I got the error message "wrong user name or password." I have changed nothing. I reset my password using Weebly reset, and received the same message. Then I tried to access my website on Opera, and got in with no problem.

Any suggestions on how to fix will be most welcome. Caveat: I am NOT very computer literate, sorry!

Thank you!

I am trying to update a password on a program. Secure password autofilled the old password with the new one I typed. When I went to update, the program said the old password is incorrect. I then went to Lockwise to see my password for the program and it showed the new one and said last modified this date. Is there a way to see my previous password before today new update?

Hi:

I set my privacy options for CUSTOM and for blocking everything under it, in all windows. I allowed some exceptions for storing cookies for some websites.

I cleared cookies and cache and after a short time, websites in the exception list saved cookies (as displayed under MANAGE).

Next day, I noticed all kinds of other cookies that I cannot relate to or from websites that should be blocked (are not exceptions).

I attached a screen capture of a subset of cookies stored since yesterday. Only connect.xfinity.com and malwarebytes.com in this subset of cookies belong to websites on the exception list.

Could someone explain why the other cookies were not been blocked? Is this how blocking is supposed to work? I looked at all the help articles on the topic I could find but I have not seen any explanation for this.

Thanks.

I am looking at the information displayed under the "shield" icon for teh websites I am using and I am not sure how to read it and understand it.

I am attaching 2 screen captures. Two questions.

1. One of the screen captures shows what I see for the shield under cookies. One of the websites listed there is marked as "blocked". If other listed websites (like the 3rd party one) shown are not identified as Blocked, does that mean that they are not blocked, despite the fact that all cookies have been blocked in CUSTOM?

2. The other screen capture shows a subset of what's allowed under exceptions. The https://connect.xfinity.com website is one of them. Then is this website is an exception, why does teh shield show the cookie for their website as blocked?

Does anyone know how this works? Is this the way it is supposed to work and if so, can someone explain? Thanks.

I noticed a certificate in the People tab of the Certificate Manager, and I don't know where it came from.

It says Certificate Name "SomeOrganization" "sp-control-01", email address "root@sp-control-01", Expires on "November 12, 2019".

Where could have this come from. And is it a problem? I worry that it is from some malware site which put a fake certificate on my firefox or something?

Is there a way to see when or how it was added?

Thanks!

Changed and saved my password in two places (including my password manager). Went in to sign out in my account setting in the triple bars. The "Sign In" "pop-up" that states at the top "Pass Required-Mozilla Firefox" and "Please enter Primary Password" displays (see image). When I enter my newly changed password either by copy and paste or manual entry it will not accept my most recent change. The reason I changed my password is every time I open Firebox that same sign in pop-up block displays asking for my password even though I am already signed in. I cannot login anywhere in the "Foxfire Lockwise". no where where it requires me to sign in or even sign out will it allow me to enter my password. And that Password sign in pop up keep popping up at odd times. I even Refresh and cleared startup cache. Should I just delete Firefox completely and start over? Have had Firefox for well over 15 years.

Hi! I live in the Kazakhstan and again like in previous year our goverment force us(right now it is only in Astana, but after they will force whole country to do that) to install their "security certificate" to collect and analyze all our data. All social media sites have been blocked, all sites with VPN services were also blocked(only kaspersky secure connection is "downloadable", but anyway it doesn't work). Can someone give me free VPN service that don't require registration and can give like 100-200mb traffic. I am not tech-pro, so i need more simple way to get access like install something and press "connect" button. Thank You!

The list of exceptions that I saved includes ALLOW for Session for a website that saves 5 cookies, two 3rd party cookies and 3 websites for tracking content, as listed in the Shield for the website. However, the Shield also shows that ALL of these tracking websites and cookies as Blocked, while I had to Allow them as exceptions. Otherwise, the website would not function.

Is this what the Shield it is meant to display (show ALL cookies as blocked, when in fact they are Allowed) ?

Also, is there a way to copy out, export or at least print the list of websites under Exceptions? I am concerned that somehow they are deleted (I was reading that Refresh deletes them, maybe something else does that too) and it took me quite a lot of experimentation to figure out what is that I have to allow for websites I need vs. what I can safely block, when blocking ALL doesn't do the job.

Thanks.
