I cannot browse using firefox and Safari on my MacBook Air for the last 3 days. Message saying "Warning potential security risk ahead" I have cleared cache, dont know what else to do

I have used Pocket, and found it useful, but am infuriated by one issue. If I don't click on a particular selection, I cannot get back to it on Pocket. Why is this? Why can't I get back to the display of Pocket articles when I choose not to follow a particular avenue? This really gets my goat.

We recently implemented CatoCloud to update our company's security measures. However, we've encountered an issue where Firefox updates are not possible on PCs configured with CatoCloud. The suspected cause is the TLS Inspection feature. Currently, we've allowed an exception for the entire mozilla.org domain in the TLS Inspection settings to enable Firefox updates.

However, we are concerned that exempting the entire mozilla.org domain might be too broad. We would like to know the specific domains or IP addresses that require exception settings to ensure appropriate configuration. Could you provide guidance on the necessary exception settings for domains or IP addresses related to Firefox updates?

Hello, Firefox is set as my default browser. However, when I click on a link in an email or website, it always open in Chrome. I cannot get it to open in Firefox. thanks for your help.

After updating Firefox 118.0.2, I loose all my pinned an not pinned tabs! After restarting the updated version, all pinned tabs shows a globe-symbol and the not-pinned tabs where empty. After an additional restart of firefox ALL tabs are gone.

What I tied so far: restoring the Firefox-profile from a backup -> no success. uninstalling firefox and install a fresh (newest) version and restoring the profile -> no success.

The only way to get the tabs back, is to uninstall firefox, restore the profile from backup and install the old version 118.0.2!!

Is there any reason, why this update fails? Is there any way to successful update Firefox, without loosing all my tabs??

The Command+M keyboard shortcut only minimizes Firefox one time after the initial boot of the system and stop working thereafter. Opening the Window menu in the top menu bar and then clicking minimize also fails to minimize Firefox. The only thing that works to minimize the Firefox window is clicking on the minimize bar on the top left of the window.

How do I get COMMAND + M to consistently minimize Firefox?

I want the tab button to stop navigating any web page. Im tired of the alt tab shortcut moving my focus around and forcing me to completely refresh a page just to interact with it again.

Please do not tell me to use about:config browser.toolbars.keyboard_navigation. It doesnt work because its not what im looking for. I want to disable the tab key in my browser. Period. 100% gone. Stop bothering me ever again type deal.

Is there a way to disable tab key navigation that doesnt require a year of coding experience with an obscure addon that probably doesnt work as of 10 updates ago?

I can not log into my Harley ride planner account. Its not the websight as I can log in on my I phone. I get this message.The resource at “https://www.harley-davidson.com/etc/designs/h-d/images/dropdown-arrow-white-2.png” was blocked by OpaqueResponseBlocking. For the last several months, I have been unable to get audio input from any device working on Firefox. The mic inputs work in all other apps and browsers, are appropriately permissioned on Windows 11, and appear in the Firefox permission windows. No actual audio is received by the website.

I have installed Firefox clean, rebooted countless times, tried the Beta and Dev channel releases, and disabled all extensions, to no avail. I have ensured that I am on the latest releases, have tried various devices, run virus scans. I have included images of the Windows sound settings showing working Mic levels, Firefox showing the device in permissions, etc.

My sound drivers are up to date, and mics work in all other browsers and apps. This is limited exclusively to Firefox.

After facebook messenger upgraded their security chat with end to end encryption call/video is not possible in firefox. Call/video buttons even disappeared. However i can call from microsoft edge web browser for example. Is this some kind of bug with mozilla? Anyone have experienced this too?

Yes, following your instructions I now can see and access the attachements. I cannot still opening them, only download them. It is not perfect but at least I can have access to the attachments without having to exit Firefox and go to Acrobat.

Recently my browser stopped opening in full screen. It opens in a little box that is usually partially off screen. I have not changed any settings and do not understand why this is happening. I maximize the window which usually has to be done twice (meaning I hit the maximize window twice to get it to go completely back to full screen). I have also tried dragging the corners of the window to maximum size, but the following day it will go back to not opening in full screen. If someone could help me with this, I would really appreciate it.

I'm using a Hotspot provided by Cisco in a library and when first connecting to the Wireless network, Firefox prompts me to login to network in order to have Internet access (expected and works fine). However, once the time session expires Firefox will sometimes prompt again to login. When this fails and internet access is abruptly ended, I've to reconnect to the Wireless network and have Firefox prompt to login.

This is a security vulnerability as someone could advertise the BSSID of the router and have victims connect to their Hotspot instead of the true one.
