Using Mac OS 12.4 and Firefox 101.0.1. After launching Firefox, a second icon appears in the "recently used" apps section of the Mac OS dock (see attached screen shot). The icon stays there and goes away, and then comes back, and then goes away, etc. This continues on and on until Firefox is closed.

Why is this happening? Never acted this way before the latest updates.

I moved my old hard drive to a new ssd. Everything works but Firefox . I uninstalled and reinstalled when i try to use it I put in a search term hit enter and nothing happens. Also the drop down on right side nothing can be used

When I did the reinstall a error message came up about The code execution can not be found because VCRUNTIME 140-1 was not found reinstall Firefox again I did that did help

I could'nt play Netflix or Amazon videos on my Firefox browser, I have an old MacBook pro OS 10.9.5 (it's the last operating system I can use.. I have photoshop 6 and it won't work on any further OSs) I went to update Firefox, was not sure what version it was. and my computer asked" replace current version of Firefox with New" , I said yes, it did.. and then after I downloaded it, I noticed there was a circle with a slash going thru it on Firefox Icon, when I tried to open new firefox , it bascically said will not work with this OS. I could not go back and lost firefox alltogher, which also had my prefernces and autofill passwords etc. I went to Mozilla site to see if I could find an older version of firefox.. This is what I found : Firefox version 78 was the last supported Firefox version for Mac users of OS X 10.9 Mavericks, OS X 10.10 Yosemite and OS X 10.11 El Capitan. These users were moved to the Firefox Extended Support Release (ESR) channel by an application update.

I downloaded it and it said It will not work on my OS, So, How can I basically get the same firefox I had or whatever the last version that works on my computer..and best case senario save my prefernces and passwords, which maybe might have been saved somehow when I tried to change in the begining .. thanks so much for your help.

I was using lightspeed POS and routinely get a dialogue box asking me if i am sure i want to do something. in an effort to save .05 seconds, i selected do not let this website ask me again. this unfortunately broke a site function of doing the thing that requires confirmation and im sure broke countless other functions that rely on that confirmation. how do i undo?

Ive cleared cookies and site data, thinking it was sort of a cookie thing and it would reset, but no avail.

My Grandson loaded some type of coupon app and every time I log into some type of store etc. I get this coupon discount, he said it was on Mozilla Firefox. I want to delete it but I can't find it, can you help?

When playing videos on youtube or any other platform the volume is very low to non-existent. When a new video starts there is a sudden surge, whereafter it rapidly returns to a non-audible level. I have tried checking the volume settings in Windows and Firefox but nothing has helped thusfar. Please help me resolve this issue so I can go back to using my favourite browser again.

In the last days I couldn't create shortcuts on SOME pages with drag and drop as I did usually. Today I formated the PC to start fresh, the problem remains!

examples: - https://flogarecords.com/store/shop/lp-mlp/sakis-tolis-among-the-fires-of-hell-lp-red-white-haze-exclusive/ When I try to create a shortcut with drag&drop a folder is created named: "SAKIS TOLIS - AMONG THE FIRES OF HELL LP (RED" And the shortcut is included inside.

The above are happening in SOME pages, not in all shortcuts. When I try to create the shortcuts on Opera they are created just fine. Perhaps that has to do with a bug in some update (windows or firfox)

My ISP is BT (UK) and I have 5 BT Mail email addresses. On the mail log-in page there is a sign-in box where I can choose which email address I wish to open. Unfortunately there are several instances of my main email address. Some with old passwords some from I know not where. I need to delete all those except the current one. I have tried clearing the cache and data but to no effect. The duplicates do not appear if I use a different browser, so it would seem to be a Firefox issue.

New computer, running Windows 11, McAfee LiveSafe came with for 30 day trial. I use Firefox, have since 1997. Just added Mozilla VPN. Old computer ran Xubuntu. Windows 11 needs antivirus because it's Windows. So. How compatible are McAfee LiveSafe and Firefox with Mozilla VPN? What suggestion, if any, does Mozilla have for an antivirus program that will work well for Windows 11 but not mess with Firefox and Mozilla VPN? Thank you.

I used Speedtest by Ookla. When the broad band was installed, the technician did this without a problem. Today when I tried I was taken to an installation page. After I used the SpeedTest, then my main page was gone and instead I have a bar of Firefox selected options. I've tried to find how this is done so I can set it back but I can't find it. Please help.

I enjoy listening to https://ici.radio-canada.ca/ohdio online with Windows 10. Since the latest version of Firefox was installed, the audio no longer plays; nothing happens when I click the hyperlinks on the page. The audio plays in Edge and Chrome. I've turned off Enhanced Tracking protection, and the pop-up blocker is off. Any help much appreciated!

Hello, I use a website, MySubaru.com, that has always loaded on my iMac (10.12). Lately what I get is a blank screen whether from the bookmark or the website in Google. Strangely enough, the site loads fine using Safari and on my MacBook and iPhone. Any suggestions? Thank you, Eric

I am trying to access this web site https://www.wunderground.com/ When I click on this link all I get is a White page! If I use Safari it works perfectly. What must I do??

I'm downloading a lot of images, and every time I do so a popup box appears showing the most recent five downloads and a button to show all downloads, It covers some of the icons I use for downloading images which is frustrating. If I right click on any of the downloads one of the options is to Clear Preview Panel, so I assumed it was called Preview Panel, but help does not know about that and I can't find how to stop it coming up (it used not to until I did something, I don't know what) It's driving me crazy.

Since an update several days ago I am unable to link to sites or email addresses I receive in emails. Serious time waster. Also in some accounts I have had for years they don't recognize my password any longer when I try to log in via a link from an email.

I keep trying to add Honey extension using Firefox. It shows that I have downloaded the extension, but it is not working. I know I am doing something wrong, but I don't know what it is. Thank you!
