Some web pages like LinkedIn for example show a dark solid red background with black lettering.

I tried installing a theme and changing the settings in Firefox.

Opening the same pages in Chrome, they are normal and not red.

Could not find any articles on this other than ones pointing to themes.

Thanks,

Further clicking on screen name then opens profile. With mine, when I click on initial photo. i get enlarged photo, but no text. Cannot proceed. Lost contact with important person. This is Urgent.

Hello, i started using Linux (Debian stretch) and after a few days i realized that in Firefox (63.0.1 64bit) can no longer use the deleting key (not "Delete", but one that is used to erase text from right to left) to go back in history on a tab. I found i can use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+right arrow, but this one is much less handy than single key which i am missing.

Second problem is that when i click back button by mouse, then it do not scroll the page to the spot where i was, but the scrollbar is on the top of the page which is not convenient.

These two things seems like a small issue, but it making quick browsing uneasy. Please how to fix these issues?

--- Yes, in about:config, i had to set "browser.backspace_action " to be "0", unsure why on Linux they do it differently.

For example when I click on a video is see a flashing small line at the bottom left on youtube. Also for example if I press wherever on Mozilla there will a flashing line (like word or text editor) to the closest text box. I probably pressed a button that activated this. Does anybody know about it?

Firefox(64.0) has issues loading OWA webmail and my university's academic sites. Logging into office.com is fine, but when opening the actual outlook webmail it loops trying to authenticate. It also has issues loading academic sites and will not let me even log in to another site. The site that doesn't log in will take credentials, but then just refreshes the page and then asks for credentials again. The other site will load but in a broken state with a weird loading icon at the top that I've never seen and is not present on other browsers on this system.

This is a fresh install of windows 10 educational and is completely up to date. I have a laptop with Firefox 64.0 installed and it has no issues loading these sites.

I'm lost. I've tried everything I can think of. Cleared cache, tried in safemode w/ no addons, reinstalled, rebooted after reinstall, enabled ipv6 dns, ensured windows is up to date, rebooted router, flushed dns...

Any ideas?

Thanks.

PLEASE PLEASE make it the way it was before. I use 'ctrl-tab' and 'ctrl-shift-tab' so much and I loved it the way it was before. It was simple, bloat-free, it worked, did exactly what I wanted.

Now, it pops up some animation where it shows me the tabs and what's in them (and that only works when you first press 'ctrl-tab' btw. with 'ctrl-shift-tab' it doesn't work anymore, unless you first do 'ctrl-tab'.) And it's also slow (way slower than the old way at least). And also it doesn't just go through the tabs in the order that they're in up there.

It's such an important feature to me that I will switch to another browser if this doesn't change back and I really don't want that. PLEASE change it back I love firefox ;;(

According to the official Firefox procedure shown online, in order to remove individual cookies, go to Options-Privacy-"Cookies and Site Data", Manage Data. All cookies are listed in that screen. Select the cookie to remove then click on the "Remove" button. After all individual cookies have been selected and 'Removed', finally, click on the "Save Changes" button and exit the screen.

The problem is, NO "Save Changes" button exists on the screen in Firefox 65. And, in fact, when I exit the screen and reboot Firefox - none of my changes to the list of cookies are actually done.

How to I really manage to permanently remove specific cookies ??

Today, my Firefox suddenly (just after open browser) show me this page: https://qsurvey.mozilla.com/s3/Avatar-Experiment-P2?...

The URL seems to be owned by Mozilla but I am concerned about whether this page is credible because I often hear about frauds like this.

Do you know other way to confirm the credibility by except checking URL with eyes?

---

For Mozilla's staff: If this survey is yours, how about take survey with advance notice on e-mail, social media, or the pop up of Firefox Home tab? I think this is better for not to perplex the users.

note: I am Japanese, so, if I have some wording mistake on this post, please don't hesitate to tell about that.

None of my Firefox extensions work on mozilla.org. I checked their whitelists and mozilla.org was not in them. There's no message saying that "this extension does not work here". So, for example, if I right click on an element and click uBlock's "Block element", nothing happens whatsoever. Why is this necessary, and is there a setting to change this?

Examples of extensions that don't work on mozilla.org: Greasemonkey, uBlock, Vimium

I like starting firefox with a blank page. Instead of a blank page I now get:

https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/67.0/whatsnew/?oldversion=66.0.5

I have tried closing the page (and firefox) and restarting, didnt fix it. I tried that multiple times. I tried reboot pc, didnt fix problem.

I get it, the update is new and sparkley and full of happy luck joy, but, I just want a blank page and I DO NOT want to read "https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/67.0/whatsnew/?oldversion=66.0.5" every time I start firefox.

How do I fix this?
