Fotoflexer (on line photo editing site) no longer usable since the last Firefox update, Tried it with explorer browser & it works fine, Have tried a FF refresh & still no good, Fotoflexer normally works with Adobe flash but ran OK without it before (not sure what it was running with on FF though).

Has just started since last Windows 10 upgrade a couple of days ago. Enter a website address abd it either crashes straightaway or after you select an option on the website. No problem on this laptop which is running on Windows 7.

I have issues playing steaming videos from various sites. The video will sit there and churn but does not play. No issues with YouTube videos. Sometimes I can refresh the page or start/stop the video and it will eventually play. This does not always work.

Same events occur with FF in safe mode or will all extensions disabled.

These events do not occur using IE.

I had a previous Q that arose out of slowness. Opening this Q as it is specific.

Windows PC W10 running FF 55.0.3 32 bit

FF this past week has become unstable - initial instruction to deinstall and reinstall ended up with 2 instances .... and kept having 'Tab crash error' Did full remove of both, and deleted Mozzila folder.

Clean reinstall .... only add on is spellchecker & UK dictionary.

Sometimes it works for 30 min, others it crashes every few minutes ... with the pop-up window advising this .... it often restarts with restore to same page - but not always. Now so unreliable have had to switch to other Browser for video conf and screen sharing. Other browser and all other Apps are totally fine. Several times yesterday it even crashed on startup ... so not a particular url related.

It also sent 2 crash reports to you .......can I get some feedback using those reports ? ..... keen to get this fixed.

Does it need an even deeper 'remove' with for example registry clean.

Firefox has always been my favorite browser. Now it is completely useless to me. Some have said that this is a security upgrade. I say it is a denial of service attack.

Downloaded Firefox years ago because it did not use Google. Recently Firefox updated with Google, replacing Yahoo. Since then it has become slow and the new access to Bookmarks is slow and not as user friendly. Please give us the choice between prior Firefox with Yahoo (which is faster and more user friendly) and the new Firefox with Google. Firefox is not as good with Google. Besides, Google is intrusive.

Hello, I have upgraded to the latest version of Firefox. When I select any of the menus the displayed menu is ghost like. Then after 15-20 seconds it will do one of two things. 1: it will display the menu 2: is will display the menu as a black screen with nothing on it. After this it will most likely hang, but sometimes has redisplayed the webpage. When it hangs the circling pointer is displayed and the title bar will display (not responding). I have uninstalled, deleted directories, rebooted, cleaned the drive multiple times, reinstalled from the full installation and still the problem exists. But somehow the system always knows that Firefox has been installed before and wants to do a refresh. Regardless of the refresh is will not work. I have updates all drivers, all WIndows updates, Java and Adobe Flash. I am running WIndows 10 with all service patches and security updates.

Since January 2018, my laptop running Windows 7 (32-bit) has been giving me an error after I close Firefox. I have removed and re-installed Firefox but it still errors. I just found that it is trying to sync and that the last successful sync was on December 31. If I turn off syncing on this device Firefox closes without any error.

So I have firefox on 2 computers. On one of the computers, there are 6 add-ons. But on the other computer, there are only 5. So 1 add-on didn't sync to the other computer. BTW, the add-on is "proxy swichyomega".

and by the way I've experiencing add-on sync problem for a very long time and for various add-ons, which is very annoying and very disappointing. I switched to Chrome in the last few months, now I'm giving firefox another try and I'm experiencing this.

and furthermore, the process for creating this post really sucks. why do I need to create an account? why not just use the sync account? why so many steps with each step displaying over-sized text?

The owner of www.google.com has configured their website improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this website.

This site uses HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) to specify that Firefox may only connect to it securely. As a result, it is not possible to add an exception for this certificate.

I cannot find an old Firefox folder. I have looked in profile and found 2 logins.json files, dated 21.03 & 09.03, the earlier says corrupt, have copied both together with the sqlite file. How do I open these files to check them ? Tried Firefox in Safe Mode, still no logins. Help would be appreciated, thank you

I've had the update for less than 24 hours, so I can only report the issue on REI.com's website, but I know the problem is not REI because I can surf the site using Safari with no problem. However, Firefox literally cannot navigate the site at all without crashing.

We use kiosk mode for our customers and randomly the browser screen will minimize into a tiny window and we have to remote into the computer and restart it. Not sure why this is happening.

Where did I see that article on XYZ. I'd like to regain a train of thought/investigation. Is bookmarks and history all there is? In reading about "Activity Stream" this seemed like the solution but it seems to lack an awareness of clustered, goal-directed activity. Is "Top Sites" and "Highlights" all there is to Activity Stream? Looking for some deeper integration/intelligence around re-displaying my history.

Installed Firefox Quantum. It worked perfectly all day and so did the history. Didn't notice the bookmarks. When I closed the app, the icon in the taskbar disappeared. I brought up the older version of Firefox and history and bookmarks are gone.
