Just like the Android version of Firefox does! It opens the new tab(s), but load each tab at visit!

Desktop Firefox also does this at [History / Restore Previous Session]. All the previously opened tabs are opened again, but each of them only loads at visit.

This is I would like to have as default behaviour with newly opened tab(s) in Firefox. > Tab opens. > It hasn't loaded yet! > At visit it loads the content.

PS: I tried, but didn't work: > about:config _ browser.sessionstore.restore*demand (switch) > Addon _ LoadTabOnSelect 3 (But it worked weirdly.)

When plugshare.com loads, there is a prominent search box at the top left corner. However it is missing the menu icon (see attached pic) as well as the search icon. This is happening on 2 different machines running Ubuntu 22.04.

Please fix. Google Chrome displays just fine; see attached pic.

On Firefox 124.0.2 (on Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS), when I click a download link on a web page, Firefox doesn't download the file. I tried disabling all add-ons, but that did nothing. However, I found that when I deselect "Ask you where to save the files" in the browser's Settings and then click the link, it downloads the file to my Downloads folder. Can someone please point me in the right direction to find a solution for this?

Exported a bookmarks html file from Mac (Sonoma OS) and tried to import it in a computer running Zorin (linux) 17. The file can be found, but when I click it, I am told there are no bookmarks therein. If I open the HTML file it's all there. Full of bookmarks. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for reading.

Whenever I use web-applications that use WebGL or anything similar, they are always distorted. And yes, I have tried disabling Performance Settings, but that only slightly helped.

i have a problem with Rightmove.co.uk webpages. On the webpage where you can see house plans, I zoom into the plan, and the plan just cannot be moved anymore and zoomed as well. I entered Firefox in troubleshooting mode without any extensions enabled and the same issue happened still. I tested the Brave and Chrome, no problems there. I tested Firefox latest version and also the ESR version, both had the same issue. browser.sessionstore.resuming_after_OS_restart = false. My browser still restores on os restart. Startup -> Restore previous windows and tabs is unchecked browser.sessionstore.max_resumed_crashes = 0 browser.sessionstore.restore_on_demand = false browser.sessionstore.resume_from_crash = false

I do not and will not manually close my browser session every time I want to shut down my computer in order to get it to do what it's supposed to. Linux sends SIGTERM to all running processes on shutdown. Firefox isn't handling this correctly, obviously, because if it was, then my settings would be getting respected. SIGTERM is the standard signal sent to windows that need to close gracefully and are expected to still be functional.

NOTE: Do not provide windows-specific support to this thread. I am not running firefox on windows, and I do not possess a windows computer or license.

That same link renders correctly in Chromium Web Browser (on Linux Mint 20.3)

By truncating the link to https://spectrum.ieee.org/ Firefox brings up that parent page O.K.

This behavior is not confined to this link in particular. It has behaved this way for some weeks (months?) now, in previous newsletters.

This is not an onerous situation but, if it could be fixed, it would be appreciated.

When I am typing an address or search term in the address bar, something happens to convert fl to "I. For example, as I type netflix.com, it ends up being net"Iix.com. The address still works (I end up on netlfix) but it looks like there is a bug in how the text is rendered in the address bar. I am on Firefox 100.0.2 on openSUSE Tumbleweed

I don't want to always be asked where I want to save files. I'm okay for all future files to be saved in my Downloads folder. I go to settings and remove the Check mark for "Always ask where to save files". But this setting does not survive a Firefox restart/exit. Why not?

How can I get firefox to preserve my preferred setting?

After the version 110 update, Firefox has issues displaying text in certain pages like Google Calc, PDF forms, online publication readers. The text seems to break up and fade out. Navigating up and down the page often restores the missing text, but not all of it. Suck pages render without issue in Google Chrome. I am using Firefox in a Linux container within ChromeOS (stable channel), but this issue only started after the latest Firefox update.

It appears that the Firefox v. 111 update has solved this issue.

When opening the following bookmark https://www.youtube.com/@msolrecords I end up with https://www.youtube.com/msolrecords and page not found. If I type the @ it works. Hello, I have a very odd problem with my firefox browser. I am running firefox 88 64bit on a 16.04 (I know...) Ubuntu. On certain websites, I have an issue with interactive content: www.leboncoin.fr will not let me login anymore (quite recent) www.decathlon.fr will have trouble displaying user comments, images, let alone placing an order Now and then websites with dynamic content and forms will not load...

I am not sure what is the link between all these but it seems related. I have tried the troubleshoot mode but it does not change anything. At the moment when I need to use these king of website I have to switch to another browser.
