I upgraded firefox from 7.5 to 8.0 and have not been able to run firefox without it crashes as it loads. I have not been able to get crash IDs as firefox does not run long enough for me to even click the firefox button.

I just updated to Firefox 8, and have not been able to open it since. I have tried starting in Safe Mode as well, but it continues to crash.

I have also disabled my firewall, but that did nothing.

When I open firefox regularly or in safe mode it crashes and brings up the crash report. On a few occasions it would stay open for a minute or so unless I try to load a page then it would crash.

Just updated as recommended to firefox 8. Restarted, then while in the process of clicking boxes to enable or disable add-ons, firefox crashed. Now crashes as soon as I click the icon. Momentarily tries to open page, then crash report box comes up. If I try to click restart, the same thing happens. Won't bring up safe mode. No change after reboot.

I have F.8 on both desktop and laptop, works perfectly on laptop, but have problems with not being able to open some banking login screens on desktop. Have allowed popups for these sites.

Also when closed using the "X" button, cannot re-open until app is closed in Task Manager. OK if closed using File-Exit. However, a second icon is placed in Taslbar. … (read more)

How can I keep 7.0.1 from updating to new versions without my permisssion??

I keep reinstalling 7.0.1 and it keeps updating to 8.0.0 without my knowledge or consent. I do not want to keep losing support of add-ons and extensions every other day… (read more)

In my vertical bookmarks display, since this morning, I no longer see Most Visited Websites, which was very useful.

There was a section, near the top of all the bookmark folders, which was entitled, Most Visited Websites, I think. This folder contained about 8 of my most common sites.… (read more)

There was a section, near the top of all the bookmark folders, which was entitled, Most Visited Websites, I think. This folder contained about 8 of my most common sites. Since this morning, I no longer see it, which is really frustrating.

How can I make it look like the one on the mozilla website?

On the Mozilla website, and the "Getting started" video the browser has a round look with a "Firefox" tab on the top. I've just installed it and it doesn't look like that… (read more)

On the Mozilla website, and the "Getting started" video the browser has a round look with a "Firefox" tab on the top. I've just installed it and it doesn't look like that at all. In fact, looks just like IE (Internet Explorer) which makes the customization very difficult.
