hotmail wont open in firefox anymore, explorer and chrome its fine. why is this hapening? when i go to msn.com i can see emails in email tab but it won.t open properly. been like this for a month.

Every time I start Firefox it restores my previous sessions even though I do not have the restore past sessions box enabled. I also have my homepage and new windows set for a custom url - but it doesn't work. I've tried it with a blank page, and the other options - but all the sessions restore. When I close Firefox and restart it, it restores all of my previous sessions. I do not want this. I've done all of the suggestions from prior questions out here in the community and they do not work. I've moved all of the sessionstore files/folder out of the firefox folder (as suggested in a prior question) and all that did was mess up my customize option. It did at first open up to a blank page, but then I changed the setting to go to a custom url for the homepage and it started restoring prior sessions again. I'm about ready to delete Firefox all together and start using a new browser. :(

I have Firefox Quantum 64 bit, set to open tabs from last session. There is a persistent tab that I close, perhaps I open and close a few more, then I exit Firefox. When I next open, I get the correct roster of tabs (those that were open when I exited), except the final one is this stubborn one that I believe must contain a program for keeping itself written in sessionstore.js. I play an online horseracing game.when i use firefox everything works including watching the race using the race viewer.However when the the race is over and I x out of the race viewer firefox crashes everytime.Nothing works and i have to minimize and close firefox from my task bar because even the x button at the top is frozen.I have 2 computers both windows 10.firefox works well with the one that has version 65.0b6(32bit) but not on this computer that has version 64.0(64bit) both versions claim to be the latest version.I need this computer to work too.

just now (12-18) switched to windows 10, from 7 (hate 10 far more than win7, of course)...Have to use cleartype now even though I do not in win7. Don't know if problem is related to cleartype..I guess I could turn it back off to test but you can't save it's settings (just one of a million things to hate)..anyway... problem is when scrolling in Firefox, text appear to get 'thinner' as if cleartype is turning off or something, just when scrolling, this is very distracting, as it a sort of mild 'blinking' affect. Anyway, thanks and happy holidays.

The website account is at www.Movescount.com and it will not allow me to login after the update to Ubuntu 18.04 LTS and Firefox Version 64.0. I am able to enter my user name but when attempting to enter the password it will not accept the entry or show the type. MY website account was functioning just fine using Firefox, most current update for Ubuntu 16.04LTS with all updates.

By putting the tabs down the right or left side it makes it more like a list and easier to read & keep track of. There is also more room to have multiple tabs open without the need to scroll to find what I'm looking for.

It also helps me keep my already busy toolbar from appearing even more cluttered. Would love to see this option added. Thanks!

When in private browsing mode, Firefox can be closed accidentally while files are downloading. There is no warning message from Firefox and the downloads are lost and cannot be resumed on restart (since it was a private browsing session).

I'm using a custom email sending program (https://www.haztek-software.com/applications/network/smtp-mail-sender/). It's much smaller and lower overhead than outlook, thunderbird etc.

I was wondering if Firefox calls the helper email program with environment variables containing the page URL and title? How would I pass these?

I deleted some old bookmarks from my Other Bookmarks folder. Then I went to bookmark a page and it added the bookmark at the end of Other Bookmarks. It is then I noticed my Recently Bookmarked file was missing and I don't see it anywhere. Can I get this back? I have Firefox 64.0 and Windows 10.

I Can not download anything, other than web_page's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All so can not play youtube video's. All this after updating to Firefox version 64. Also I noticed that there has been more and more hic's as the update's come out. the last good browser that I had used was Firefox version 27 all of them after that has been more and more concentrating to use!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The freedom was what brought me to use firefox in first place, but that is diapering fast with each new update. I'm slowly getting more and more dissatisfied with the program with each and every new update. Less and less addon's less and less compatibility. Soon it will be just another worthless download on the internet.

P.S. Yes, I know I'm what is call a hard user (if the option is there I will try it.) (And I like having options.)

I can't seem to find any information on how to get around this. I'd like to use reCaptcha on my site to stave off bots from spamming me. Unfortunately it looks like Content Blocking does not allow the api to load when the site is viewed.

The resource at "https://www.google.com/recaptcha/api.js" was blocked because content blocking is enabled.

Am I missing something?

Whenever I try to access my college account, which requires multi-factor authentication, it does not load properly. When I arrive at the site, I input my credentials and then the login box should expand and ask whether I would like a "text, passcode, or push to phone authentication" however that quickly expands/loads and then disappears on Firefox. I tried it on Firefox on my iPhone with the same results... however... It works fine on Firefox focus.

I've gone through and disable various security features, such as accepting more cookies etc., but nothing seems to change.

Not sure how to proceed. Thanks!

Everything went well with the booking until I got to the last page where I review the booking and Air Mile Flights Terms and Conditions. "By clicking on this button, I have read the Travel Documentation Advisory and agree to the terms and conditions of the AIR MILES Reward Program". When I click that link the page proceeds to "PROCESSING Please Wait", then it quickly flashes to "Authorizing" and then reverts to the page that I just left. It never stops on the page where I would enter the Payment details.

If I disable private browsing the site functions properly and I can complete the transaction. Popups and cookies were allowed in both scenarios.

In bookmarks below the page name was a panel for notes. I used this all the time. I do research for a pharmacy in retirement as a hobby and used this panel for reference notes and referral to other entries. It is real annoying not having it as the name line is to small to write all my notes. I now have to give the name time an index number and write my notes in word. As you can imagine this is a big time waster. It was far more simpler to have the notes immediately under the name line
