As of yesterday - with NO downloads or updates to anything having been made - MSN.com opens Hotmail (when I click the link from that page) in a new window, not a tab. Any link in any email, however, opens in a new tab in the original window. When I og out of Hotmail, it returns me to MSN so the process gets repeated every time I start Firefox & it loads my normal set of tabs. Why has this suddenly started? How do I fix it (return to opening Hotmail in a tab)?

I can't get firefox to run on any machines. My colleagues can.

I can't find any trace of Firefox running and it still complains that there is an existing firefox process running.

I have aMacbook running 10.5.8 when I try to download the new Firefox Browser (With the Intel chip)...It says I don't have privleges...how do I get them..I have always used Firefox and never had this problem when updating the program before

I have tried to upgrade to 4.0 many times - but when I attempt to download an add-on that is only for 4.0 - it says that I have version 3.05 - need to update. But when I go to Help:About: - it says up to date - no updates available.

Every time I open FF I get the msg that I could be subject to online attacks unless I download the new version. (I've received this msg with respect to each of the last three versions.)

I go through the motions, and when I try to move the new FF into the Applications folder I get the message "The operation cannot be completed because you do not have sufficient privileges for some of the items."

What on earth does that mean?

On logging on to Firefox I get the following message "URGENT! Your version of Firefox is no longer protected against online attacks. Get the upgrade - it’s fast and free! " But when I follow the procedure to instyall the upgrade I still subsequently get the same message. Please rectify for me. Regards Mark Dawbarn

I can access the Amazon UK homepage but when I search for a book or click on a product on the homepage it doesn't bring the page up. My cookies are enabled. Plus it's just the same with Internet Explorer and Googlechrome.

After I log in to certain sites that I use daily, Firefox will not go to the post-log-in page until I unblock the transition. For other sites, it ignores my repeated attempts to unblock the transition, forcing me to use another browser for those sites.

For the first type of site, I would like a way of telling Firefox to never again waste my time by forcing me to manually unblock the transition.

For the second type of site, I would like to get Firefox to stop ignoring my attempts to allow the transition.

When trying to install the new version - dragging the icon to application folder - the system replies that "certain operations cannot be completed as you do not have the previliage for certain items

Currently using FF 3.0.5. Trying to upgrade to current version. Running Mac bok Pro OS 10.5.8 (Intel Duo). Downloads fine. But whn dragging to Appl folder get message "Missing some privileges."
