When I open a new tab firefox opens search.imesh.com? I want a blank tab when I open a new tab. How do I do that?

I don't use the caret bousing and since I don't know what affect the F7 kay has on other programs I would like to remove that function from Firefox. Can that be done?

In Yahoo email, attachments rec'd with emails won't Forward with the email, they disappear when Forward is selected

I have Firefox 3.6.10 on one PC. I had Firefox 3.0.19 on another PC. Yesterday, Firefox 3.6.10 upgraded my 3.0.19 version. I test software and need both versions to test our software for our clients. How can I download Firefox 3.0.19 for Linux?

However, when I type 'foo' into my address bar, it tries to take me to http://foo/ instead of executing a google search for foo and taking me to the first hit, which is what I was expecting. I end up seeing a message from my ISP that the site does not exist. Anyone know how to fix this? Google only seems to turn up advice on changing keyword.url, with nothing on forcing firefox to obey keyword.url.

I have grand kids getting on my computer and DO NOT want them being able to private browse AT ALL!! How do i get rid of this irritating feature. I can't supervise them if the history can be hidden!!!!!

Sometime between 7 and 8 pm EST on 7/7/11, Firefox went from speedy to an absolute standstill. After trying to force-quit, the entire Mac froze. I turned it off and it would not reboot (not clear the gray apple screen with the clockwise light pattern). Left it shut-down for the entire night and it started up again properly this morning, but there are still problems with Firefox. When I run it, it lags very slowly for a maybe a minute, then quits responding. I tried twice to clear caches and this only prompted more non-response.

On 1 July Mozilla generated an automatic update. Immediately after, I received the message"proxy server is refusing connections." I am unable to get online on my computer. How can this problem be solved?
