I just auto-updated to FF 29, and I really dislike the interface. It took me a while to figure out what happened to my refresh button, and I STILL cannot find a way to restore the text labels to my shortcuts. Is this even possible?

I'm willing to give up on Firefox. The new version is completely broken, worse than IE at this point, it's not nice, but I'm not kidding.

For example the back button, I do a google search, click on a result, no active back button. I'm not kidding, I can't go back and try to click on the next result cause it's gone. WTF!

I'm very impressed with the new Firefox 29, but I'm wondering how long until Flash will be working. All across the web I see "Would you like to install the plugin needed to view content on this page?" and if I click yes, it pops up a window saying "No plugins found." I still have Firefox 28 installed and it works fine. I thought this was just a time-biding issue, but as I've searched around I'm starting to doubt. Solution?

Running Firefox 29 on Fedora 20.

when you move your mouse underneath the address bar a white bar pops up, this makes it so you can't click buttons or links on websites, like login buttons for example. also when in full screen mode you can no longer mouse over tabs at the top of the screen, only that white bar shows up. that prtty much kills full screen usage for me. so that popup white bar and the full screen with the white bar without tabs has just about ruined firefox for me. anyway to fix this would be great.

I have Google and on my start up page ,under the Google search space this question is under it. What kind of Web do you want? Join Firefox users around the world shaping its future. I don't like this and want to remove it. I did what it ask of me , but it contains to show up? Thanks

This add-on extension "Disconnect", after upgrading to Firefox 29 now displays only a tiny drop down box when clicked vs the full drop down menu. Before the upgrade it worked fine. It does this whether adding it to the tool icons in the upper right of the window (left of the new Firefox dropdown menu) or whether adding it to the Firefox menu itself as an additional icon. The extension appears to work in terms of blocking adds/tracking, as before, just can't see what is in the drop down menu. Already tried disabling and re-enabling, no change.

I upgraded to Firefox 29 2 days ago, and Foxclocks no longer works! Says it installs ok but does not appear on the the bottom toolbar as it used to...

Anybody else had this problem or can suggest how to fix?

I just freshly installed the latest Firefox on two machines. Created a new account on one of them and started to download some add-ons and changed the preferences, then got to the other and signed in. It finished syncing but none of my changes were applied to the second machine.

J'utilise depuis plus d'un an firefox sur différents appareil smartphone, tablette android, un pc et un pc portable, mon portable s'est planté grave, j'ai réinstallé windows 8.1 et firefox (je crois que c'est la nouvelle version) je me suis connecté à sync avec mes coordonnées, mais je n'arrive pas à retrouver mes marque page etc sur le serveur (comment dois-je faire)? Je ne trouve nulle part une façon de récupérer les données du serveur

When FF starts up it comes on with the standard screen but quickly switches to a screen showing a global map and a short video of children stating what they want in their experiences in a system. This programming for this is embedded in the start up sequence ( I looked already) and is clearly from Firefox - not mal-wear or other "bad" thing.

I cannot get rid of it, it is distracting and a pain besides since it often by random movement of the courser hits the spot where the video is activated.

I need to remove the programming sequence which initiates this.

I posed the question already and did not get a responsive return which helped.

firefox has just completely changed and appears new looking a bit like google chrome, and the title bar appears to have neen removed, but it now has problems. i need the menu bar but with it i can no longer drag the firefox browser window around. how can i move the menubar ? thanks
