I just got the beta version of firefox 28 version 1. I have tab mix plus as my tab manager. When I went to 28 it stopped opening my tabs next to the one that I am using. It now open them at the end of the line of tabs. I mean that if I have 15 tabs open, as I do now, and I am focused on the 5th tab and want something to open next to it, it will no longer do so it will open after the 15th tab. I have tab mix set to have the tabs open after the tab that I am focusing on.

I realize that most will find this unimportant, but it is a pain in the rear when you want the tab in one place and it opens in a different different place!

I signed up to get emails from nomorerack , overstock.com, . I have asked comcast and the websites that i signed up for to see if they could fix it no such luck. Been trying for the last 3 months. i just dont understand what is going on. i believe my email setting are all ok. when i was with earthlink i never had any problems with my email.

The About screen shows Beta channel and version 28, but the program launching is the old Firefox - have logo in upper left instead of button, so no option to relaunch in new format, as shown in step by step instructions. Firefox is set as my default browser, and I've restarted Windows.

No joy - any suggestions, please?

Firefox used to save passwords for yahoo Mail, but lately does not seem to be working. I have 2 mail accounts and passwords with Yahoo. I have read through and clicked all the things about allowing passwords to be saved but nothing is working. I do not have this problem with Explorer. If this is just something that Yahoo has done to shut out Firefox then so be it, but if there is something that can be done I would appreciate the help.

I read through other Q&A's on this, looks like a big problem all over, but many of the so-called solutions about bookmarks, etc I can't understand what to do. Many say "solved" but I do not see any solution.

If I try to load videos that are hosted on YouTube, they will not load, they will not even show a placeholder to show that anything should be there. If I go to YouTube, the site will not load with any video. All I get is a list of links to subscribed channels and my account and all that crap, nothing that looks even remotely like a video. This has occurred only since 28 beta 2 was installed.

This is my situation:

I sync my bookmarks, passwords and extensions using Firefox Sync.

When I start up Firefox, it asks me for my master password because Firefox sync wants to sync on startup and I have a master password set up.

So what happens is, I'm typing a website address, the master password dialog pops up, receives focus, and I accidentally type a part of the website address in the password dialog, which I dismiss using escape, and then I have to retype the website address.

A solution for me would be to disable automatic syncing (or at least just after startup).

Is there a way of doing this?

(I'm not scared of the about:config, but couldn't find anything there that would fix this. Alternatively, could I file this as a feature request in Bugzilla, or as a UX issue?)

restore recently closed tabs is grayed out, Ctrl-shift-T does not work. Session restore Does work , although many times it does Not recover all the most recent tabs. History also works. FF 27 for a few weeks, - just got update today - not helping. WinXP, 2.ghz 4 gigs ram installed

FF just updated and now, when I try to forward an email from my company's email system, the 'forward email box' comes up as a narrow strip that won't allow a full-screen view and the box can't be dragged out to make it bigger. The box goes back to a narrow box by itself. It's never happened before, any ideas?

I've been using FF Touch for a few days now - and love it! From I will like it even more when it's available in the Windows store so I can install it on my Surface RT. However I have a few basic user questions: 1. The only way I can find to access the Favorites and History is by launching a new tab - is there another way? 2. How can I define Home, Search prefs, etc? 3. Touch doesn't sync with the desktop version; will the production version? 4. Any idea on when this will be available in Windows 8 store? 5. Clear cache?

RT.com website promotes an extension for FF. The website offers a button to do this. But, I do not find the extension on the Mozilla add-ons page. I use Firefox on three PCs and FF Sync is enabled on all of them. Two out of three PCs display the "quick dial" feature on the new tab page (6 most used pages) while the third PC only displays a blank page. Why is this not synced? Or is it supposed to be synced in the first place? (I have "Options" checked in sync options.)

The applications will launch in desktop mode but not in a windows 8.1 app I am hoping for help with this I have tried everything to fix crashing or slowness and have reinstalled the program in aurora nightly or even firefox beta forms. Help!

recently (about few months ago), i found the profile drop down menu on www.zhihu.com no longer works. i also noticed that other mouse over funtions are disabled too.

oddly, the problem only seems to appear on firefox on my laptop. other browsers on this computer(ie, chrome) or firefox on my other desktop computer works completely fine. so i don't think it's a website-related issue.

methods tried but didn't help: turning off hardware accelaeration. clear cookies. safe mode. reset firefox. migrating profiles and firefox program files from desktop computer to laptop. completely reinstall firefox.

any idea?

The AOL address has a couple of caps before "@aol.com" but "postmaster" rejects and shows the message going to the address with all lower-case letters. How can I get messages to this address to go through??

1 Spreadsheet I use for work from Google drive does not open. Other files, in the same google spreadsheet format, do open up. I recently updated to Firefox 28 and switched to Microsoft security essentials for Antivirus. Clearing the cache and cookies does not help.

Nightly crashes on startup and does not produce a crash report as of the latest update. It ran just fine yesterday and I have not made any changes to my system. I am running on Win 7 64 bit with all recent updates. I have also attempted to open Nightly in safemode using the shift key but it crashes before it is able to do so and have also tried using a different profile as well. Note: I am posting this through the Firefox Beta build and not Nightly. Attached is the windows crash report.

Installed/upgraded Firefox v27 to v28beta to try out the Windows 8 Touch version on my Surface Pro 2. Relaunched via menu link in desktop version. Opened up in Metro on my home page Google, but no menu bar anywhere. Closed and reopened using Metro icon. Opens to the start? screen showing history links tiles and other things, but still no menu bar. None of the links show work. Forced to restart in desktop mode.

When i try to load any page on Mozilla 28 the page opens but i get additional tab saying The address isn't valid The URL is not valid and cannot be loaded. I tried everything from reseting Firefox ,completely new installation of firefox to about.config and nothing worked it's been two days now since the problem started and i am pretty frustrated and desperate as i try to fix the issue so please help me with some solutions????
