power outage this morning... don't know if Firefox was open

Now bookmarks gone

library totally empty

backup restore yields message: "Unable to process the backup file"

cannot save new bookmarks

I recently had the 2012 virus and had to upgrade my OS after it was removed,due to systemic damage. Afterwards, everything worked fine, then I upgraded my firefox from 8 to 9. Now my bookmarks are GONE & all the articles relating to recovering them havent worked.I didnt get an opportunity to do a manual backup(json) before this occurred.HELP

i recently accepted the firefox updates which made the upgrade to firefox 6. Now avg will not work. Can i find the previous version of firefox again so i may use the browser safely?

I try to go to my Hotmail email and it wont let me go through. so I deleted cookies and still the same issue with my home page. It will not go to home page it just goes to a blank page. I do not want to constantly deal with this problem. You have bugs and everything else in this browser. Please work out the bugs.

Recently I updated to the newest version of Firefox and ever since I have, Firefox loads and says, "The proxy server is refusing connections."

Whenever I go to chose "No Proxy" the settings are always this:

HTTP Proxy: 127.0.0.1 Port: 50424

I downloaded Firefox 10 but no toolbar. Can't find a site (or how to) download the toolbar. All questions come up Google Chrome which I don't want. I don't know how to do this. Thank you.

I recently downloaded an up date to my Kodak printer/scanner. Since doing that, I cannot get my email to print. I can print word documents etc., but not email. I can also print when I use Internet Explorer as my browser, but I don't want to do that. I think this could be a minor fix but I don't know how to do it.

for some reason, last night, Mozilla to NOT hold the homepage I have had for 2 years. I do not know what has changed-as far as I know nothing has.

This has been solved, by me re downloading and reinstalling Incredimail and choosing the "custom installation" option. I then unclicked the mystart for home page and search tool options. Now, everything is working smoothly again.

I am running Windows XP Pro 64 on an AMD Athlon 64 x 2 processor. Immediately upon upgrading to 8.0.1 and ever since, FF has been crashing and hanging. More than 80% of the time, any attempt to load FF via any means results in a splash screen followed by the application terminating with no error. Much of the rest of the time results in a screen which offers to restore the previously locked session. Usually, this is locked, as well. Sometimes, it will allow the user to select whihc items to try to restore or to start a new session, at which point the app either terminates or hangs. Again, no error messages. If one can get past the entry screens - perhaps one try in ten, if that - the app seems to be stable until the Windows screen saver engages. Once the screen save engages, the app freezes solid without fail. No error message is ever reported. Below is the most recent crash ID, but it definitely is not the most recent lock-up. There were zero issues prior to the 8.0.1 upgrade, and instantly upon upgrading to 8.0.1 and beyond, the problem has been terrible. This platform is unusable in this state.

How can I troubleshoot this?

My Optimum Webmail (Cablevision) no longer displays HTML after I upgraded to 9 (Beta update is the same). IE still works fine. Emails say: "This message may not display as originally intended." When I click the View Message button that follows this error message, it opens a new window and displays the email with HTML correctly. Cablevision says it's a problem with new FF version, maybe connected with Flash, and says they can't do anything until FF solves the compatability problem.

I am having some issues interacting with pdf documents online with a website called Equator.com. I am using the latest version of of Firefox (10.0) and running Mac OS Lion. What can be done to remedy this problem?

Hi I have a problem... Two days ago, I locked an add-on (Procon Latte Content Filter 3.3) with a password... I lost the password and now I can't disable or remove it...

How can I take the password back?
