And it's not Bing Crosby either -- I did the steps to remove Bing as search engine, yet when I open Firefox, Bing comes up, not on my other browsers. I did a search in my registry and there are numerous places where Bing is embedded. I don't know if I should delete them, because it might mess up my computer. Need help.

I got a new computer in December with Win11. I have used Firefox for many years and reinstalled it into the new one. I later put my old Win10 hard drive into the new one. I noticed all my bookmarks were lost even I tried to import them as I could not find them anywhere. Then I noticed that FF said I could get them from the computer records you had on me. Where can I go to get them and how to import them? Thanks very much for any help.

I have restored my Windows 10 Home (64), deleting all previous installed apps during the process. Hereafter Firefox and Thunderbird are downloaded and installed.

I did not find the 2 Apps in the usual program folder, and they do not appear in START->ALL APPS.

Searching my computer, I found Firefox and Thunderbird in these locations: Firefox: C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Mozilla.Firefox_121.0.1.0_x64__n80bbvh6b1yt2\VFS\ProgramFiles\Firefox Package Root Thunderbird: "C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\MozillaThunderbird.MZLA_115.6.0.0_x64__h5892qc0xkpca\VFS\ProgramFiles\MZLA Package Root\thunderbird.exe"

My question: is this the usual place or have I mixed things up during installation ?

I have been troubleshooting Mozilla Firefox for over week and I refresh it twice. Yesterday I had to uninstall Mozilla Firefox because I got a Warning Security Rick Ahead" - FireFox detected a potential security thread and did not continue to hp printer ...attackers could try to steal information like passwords, emails, or credit card details. I tried to use my printer but it was block by message. I had to go use another browser.

I can visibly watch things change in my Apple settings, Proton email, and websites. The left top menu minimum, maximum, and close changed to a dark color a week ago. My Proton emails were coming in with a red circle X last week and on the CHD Website the javascript kept changing with errors. These are just a few examples. I reinstalled Mozilla this morning and now any website or other place I click is given a same warning message above. I cannot use Mozilla Firefox until the is remove

Just recently I realized that the master password does not apply to credit card information. Firefox on Mac and Windows, if a login password exists, allows us to require authentication to autofill, view or edit saved credit cards. Firefox on Linux doesn't allow this authentication. So, I'm guessing that the credit card information is stored in Linux in an insecure manner. This is true? Another question about Mac and Windows. Does requiring authentication for credit card processes mean that the card information is encrypted on disk? Or does the password only protect information from unauthorized viewing, and the cards are stored on disks in text form?

As said in title. I like to drag links/youtube videos to new tabs instead of right clicking/middle click. The problem with this is that these tabs autoplay after a short amount of time without me switching to them, whereas right click/middle click do not (since I have autoplay on unfocused tabs blocked). This problem persists in troubleshoot mode.

I have tried the site-specific autoplay permissions, but I still want to keep the 'switching focus to new tab autoplays content', and I do not want to have to press play if I use firefox's site-specific blocked autoplay.

I use FF and the Bookmarks toolbar for many, many years now. But since FF update 121, something is wrong.

On one of my computers (both running on Windows), the "Bookmarks Toolbar" under the tabs stays empty. On the other computer the bookmarks appear normally. The FF settings on both computers are similar. In the Bookmarks sidebar, there is a top 'folder' Bookmarks Toolbar and under the tabs in FF, there is the 'show always' toolbar called 'Bookmarks'. But non of the Bookmarks are shown here.

Any help is appreciated. Regards, Arman

Hello Firefox Community,

I hope you're all doing well! I could be facing a peculiar challenge lately with my Firefox browser, and I'm reaching out for some guidance.

It seems that certain add-ons can cause performance issues—sluggish response times, occasional freezes, and even crashes. Sometimes the problem persists even after disabling them.

Has anyone else experienced similar challenges with Firefox add-ons impacting browser performance? What strategies or tools have you used to troubleshoot and resolve such issues?

Looking forward to hearing your suggestions and experiences to enhance my Firefox browsing!

Best, LESCO Bill
