In regular web pages, I'm able to hover over an URL / picture w/ URL behind it, etc.... It shows up on the status bar at the bottom of the page (that's what it used to be called). Sometimes I can't.

Somewhere around the same time as I started noticing this, I had just upgraded to a Win11 computer. So, when I try to hover over a suspicious link, I get nothing!

Is there code these people can put in that shields them from hover? So, we can't see what we're getting into? If so, then I presume if I can't hover, don't click... Right?

Hi, PLEASE ASSIST I have a Desktop Computer & also a Laptop Computer(both using Windows 10) I used Firefox Syn to have both Comuters the same BUT BUT,Nothing but Problems On the Desktop Computer,regardless if I open Firefox,both Bookmark Menu & toolbar Menu are the same After (on firefox using Eset Banking) the Toolbar was great,but now,when I open it,it is the same as the normal Bookmark Menu) & if I open Firefox normally,the Menus are the same On Firefox using ESET Banking,I deleted all the menu on the toolbar & Put in the sites I had before all of the SYN But After I had it back to where I need it,GREAT & Shut it down,After 15 minutes I reopened it again & MUCH TO MY DISCUSS.the Toolbar Menu I just had put back is gone & the normal bookmark menu is Back HOW CAN I STOP THIS Through Firefox ESET Banking Tooplbar menu,is a safe way of logging into sites to make payments It is EXTREMELY FRUSTATING Please Help Thank you Darryl.Smith

I have had this spam pop up 2 times when I was on Facebook through Firefox through DuckDuckGo. Could someone confirm that this is spam and how to fix it? Also, I would like to report it to Firefox and I can't find how to do that either. Thank you

I'm developing web app. I created and set up ssl auth for localhost with self signed cert.

When I hit my endpoint with firefox I see:

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to localhost:8081. SSL peer cannot verify your certificate.

Error code: SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_ALERT

   The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
   Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

How to disable security in FF so I can test my endpoint?

Firefox opens only by clicking the taskbar icon , not from the desktop icon or even double-clicking the program "firefox.exe" itself in the Firefox directory.

We see that Firefox often takes the fallback Proxy. The connection via the Fallback proxy is much slower than the connection via the original proxy. 

My Questions: How does Firefox recognize which Proxy is now active? Is there away to debug the Proxy Selection? Can I give a priority to a Proxy?

Firefox search allows a range of useful search engines to be available. About every 2 weeks, Amazon UK is removed from the list available. Then I have to refind it and put it back. Then repeat the process. This is getting boring.

Is there any way this search tool can be nailed into the search options?

I am encountering a repeated problem making online reservations in another country through Firefox, in which I select the correct date in the displayed calendar, submit the reservation request, and then receive a confirmation for the day following the one I requested. It has now occurred multiple times in the last few months, involving reservations made at hotels, restaurants, and libraries through a variety of platforms (third-party consolidators, directly through the business's own site, etc). I thought at first it might have to do with the time zones--I made the first batch of reservations in the evening US time when it was already the following day in Europe, but it is now happening with reservations made at a time when the dates match. When I contact the businesses, they see no sign of error on their end. I feel like I am losing my mind.

Hi, lately I have been having issues with updates. When Firefox browser in MacOS gets update, it ask me to sign in to all platforms again. This wasn't the case at all before.

I have 2fa enabled on my account, is there a way to skip/disable the third step where I have to enter a code from an email? It's already redundant with 2fa. Plus, the runaround of "enter your email, enter your password, get email, enter the code, oops your password is wrong!" is irritating enough :) It just seems unnecessarily difficult.

Find out and correct the problem I typed in the question block : I am no longer able to download my email from the WOWWAY home page since I accepted our latest update. The only way I can get my email now is by using Microsoft Edge as my browser!!!!

I still doesn't have turned my computer off in case that you could help me find my pages back. I have no one else to help me with this problem and I deeply need the websites I was surfing on. I'm not sure I can find them by myself and I don't have much time for that.

For many years a happy user. (handicapped with shattered wrist, may be typos.)

My mac spontaneously crashed and rebooted overnight, a rare event. When I came up firefox wouldn't work.

Many, many times I clear out all vestiges of firefox from downloads, applications and every place I can think of.

I then empty trash and I use safari (ugh) to reinstall firefox. Everything proceeds well. When I activate the newly installed firefox application, nothing happens. Eventually in the "Force Quit Applications" it says Firefox "not responding"

I cannot think of anything else to try. Everything else on the Mac seems to be functioning well. The os is 12.7
