Hi,

Using Firefox version 83.0 on MacBook Pro 2019 16 inch model. When I pause a video on any webpage, I hear a sudden loud "crack" sound from the speakers. It also happens when I unpause, jump backward or forward in the video. If I mute the sound of the video and try to pause/unpause, there is no problem.

I checked the same situation with other browsers. There are no problems with them.

I hope there is a solution to this.

Thanks.

When you have pinned tabs, Firefox no longer opens the first link you click (which starts Firefox). It starts, but without showing you the website from the link. Once Firefox is started, clicking links works as expected. Without pinned tabs, Firefox also opens with the first link as expected. So the problem is definitely the pinned tabs.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Start Firefox and add a pinned tab.
  2. Quit Firefox
  3. Click on a link in e.g. an e-mail to open Firefox with that website -> Firefox starts (with the pinned tab), but without opening the website from link you clicked.
  4. Click again on that same link and now the website does open.
  5. Remove the pinned tab and quit Firefox.
  6. Click on the link -> Firefox opens with the website from the link.

I got a forced Windows update on 2/26/22 and since then Firefox does not respond to clicks or typing for a second each time, making it impossible to use.

I saw previous posts about turning off third party accessibility settings, but this does not seem to be a feature in the newer versions of Firefox (97.0.1). I tried upgrading (this is the most recent version), resetting it (forcing me to go and re-install all of my passwords) but the problem remains.

I'm hoping there's a solution; I can't find anything in the forums; I use Firefox for everything (except this message, for which I was forced to use Chrome)

Thanks

Like the subject title says:

Firefox - Keyboard Shortcut Binding Tab to Super + (alpha char of choice) (like Super+num, but a designated tab)

It could be useful to have some functionality to 'Bind' a 'Tab of choice' to a Super+(alpha/qwerty) key combination.

for instance:a user can bind Soundcloud.com (Tab in position 27) to Super+'s' to reach it quickly.

All in agreement? Cheers,

Since yesterday, late in the day, I don't see any content in my emails. The first one I try to read flashes, very quickly the content, and disappears almost instantly replaced with an option to reply or forward the email. After the first attempt all others immediately just show the "reply or forward" option, never showing the content.

I went to another browser to check my emails and they open as they always have. So this seems to be a Firefox issue only. I have cleared the cashe, and history, have restarted the browser multiple times. Any suggestion is appreciated.

If you can't help me with this issue, how do I transfer all my bookmarks to another browser?

Thank you.

Hey there,

Whenever I type something out in the address bar, for example, youtube.com, it won't autofill to youtube.com. I have to type out the entire domain.

Most other browsers have this, so I assumed Firefox has this, but it just won't work for me.

If there are any solutions, explain it to me pretty simply, because this is my first few days on Firefox.

Thanks!
