If the browser privacy is supposed to block cross-site cookies, EVEN WITH enhanced tracking prevention and permanent browsing mode enabled, why doesn't it do its job? I still have to go in and revoke the cookie and place that address in the "exceptions - cookies & site data" to block and the same address STILL comes right back. If that feature isn't going to work, there's no point in offering it.

I love Firefox (use it on all devices), but unless an option will actually do what it's supposed to do, don't offer it.

I've been using the same browser on my desktop computer for like 10 years.

Obviously after one of the updates I couldn't find any of my saved logins/passwords etc. There were a ton of updates over the years but I've never experienced something like this. I can't log in to any website where I had account as all of my data has been wiped out somehow. I just want to say that I'm the only one using this computer, and there is no risk that someone cleared that without my knowledge.

Is there a help for me? This is very frustrating and disappointing.

I used to be able to right click on the yahoo mail tab and it would allow me to select a work, personal etc. yahoo email accounts. This would let me be logged into multiple email accounts at the same time and each one would be on a different tab.

Whatever you changed is not allowing my bank to sign me in without jumping through hoops. They said I need to get you to allow their cookies - how do I do that for a specific site?

I cannot figure out what the deal is. Every time I launch Firefox I have to re sign into YouTube. I have tried the following troubleshooting methods after looking it up.

Type about:preferences#privacy<enter> in the address bar. The button next to History, select Use Custom Settings.

Turn off Always Use Private Browsing Mode Turn on Remember My Browsing And Download History At the bottom of the page, turn on Clear History When Firefox Closes. At the far right, press the Settings button. Turn on ONLY Cache and Form And Search History leaving the others off.

This is not working I have also disabled all extensions and am still having this issue. It is only with YouTube no other site does this to me.

Hi, I am web developer. App I am working on need to connect to remote host by webscoket and send auth cookies to it (aws guard). The problem is when I run app on the local host (dev mode), it works fine in every Chrome based browser, and even Safari, but unable to connect in FF.

For example, my app runs on localhost:8080, and Websocket host is ws.dev.myapp.com For successeful coonection, handshake request should include cookies from .dev.myapp.com domain, or even .myapp.com. So, you can see on screenshots, cookies not included on request from localhost, and we get 403 error instead of 101 on second pic.

I guest this is some secutiry setting I can tweak, but I can't see what exactly. Or can it be a bug?

   This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

i tried to - delete cookies - delete history - add exception (vk.ru/vk.com) to Cookies and Site Data - private Mode - disable HTTPS-Only Mode - reinstall firefox but still like some other website the same problem.... plz help these websites work fine -- by using other Browsers i can login

I am trying to transfer my cookies from Chrome over to Firefox, yet the import wizard has no mention of cookies under the chrome category. Things such as Edge Legacy and Internet Explorer have the cookies tab available.

I read that there was a way to do it manually, but I'm unsure of how.

I know things such as CookieBro exist, but I'm unsure if they're safe and they seem like a way to get all my tokens logged.

So I updated today as requested and now all the sites I had previously checked to allow pop ups etc on are no longer functioning.

After an update, cannot use my online banking fully. Get the error: "Why can't I access Bill Pay?" "You might have cookies blocked or cross-site tracking prevented. Depending on what browser you are using, check you settings for these terms:

• Block third party cookies
• Cookie tracking
• Cross-site tracking

Make sure cookies are not blocked and cross-sight trackingis enabled. Follow any additional instructions in your browswer once you have adjusted these settings"

My cookies.sqlite file keeps deleting itself after I start browsing, and after a restart, it replaces it with a new cookies.sqlite file. My actual cookies.sqlite file is 1536kb, and for some reason, that's the magical number that unfortunately is causing me issues or otherwise. Please help!

I am unable to access my Medical Office Simulation Software within Cengage Learning System Message says Document size is not supported, increase browser size or change orientation.Also the message about clearing ad blockers keeps repeating after Ive cleared cookies and cache on all my devices.

When typing in a URL (for example www.google.com) and pressing enter, Firefox automatically sends me to a specific page on the website that I've visited before (for example, www.google.com/search/12345). I am making sure that it is not auto-filling a suggested URL before hitting enter, it is just the basic URL. I tried deleting cookies for that website and clearing the Firefox suggestions using the arrow keys and shift + Delete and it is still automatically sending me to a different page on that website. I also tried the same thing in an incognito browser and it does the same. If anyone has any ideas it'd be appreciated. It's not a big hassle but I just want to figure it out more than anything.

I would like to make a request to include "window id" and "tab id" in the cookie "onCookieChanged" -Event triggered dynamically.

At the present state it is not possible to identify where a cookie is originating from, only the "cookies.cookie" values, but no values for "Window" and "Tab Id" which would dramatically help to assign a cookie to a particular domain even if the "cookie.originURL" or "cookie.url" is different from the surfed on website.

As an example, you can visit "https://freenet.de" which loads different ad trackers - which cookies are displayed as "Cross Origin" in Flag Cookies. A screenshot is attached.
