I seem to have an infinite nesting of bookmarks. No matter how deep into "Other Bookmarks" I go, there is always a duplicate (not sure if identical or not) layer of bookmark folders.
Therefore, I cannot be sure where my webpage links are destined when I bookmark a new webpage.
How do I sort this out so that I only have "All Bookmarks" --> ("Bookmarks Menu" & "Other Bookmarks")?
In other words, I do NOT want "All Bookmarks" --> ("Bookmarks Menu" & ["Other Bookmarks" --> ("Bookmarks Menu" --> ("Other Bookmarks" --> "Bookmarks Menu... )) 'ad nauseum'
If this is my fault, please guide me on how to correct it. If it is a Firefox "undocumented feature," then please consider removing it in the future.

Hi. Not so much as a bug report but a feature request. I am attempting to add the same URL to two separate bookmark folders on my bookmark toolbar so that I may have a better chance of finding it in six months when I'm likely to need to visit that website again. The reason is that the website in question fits neatly in terms of subject into two of my folders.
At present in Firefox, if you place a URL in a bookmark folder then try to place it again in a separate folder then Firefox appears to remove the URL from the first bookmark folder and place it in the second. It would be handy for Firefox to either just accept the second placing or display a dialogue box pointing out that the URL already exists in another folder and asking if the user wants to a) move the URL to the place where the user tried to place a new bookmark, or b) go ahead and place a duplicate in the newer folder c) cancel the request.
I'm a long term user / fan of Firefox and have no intention of moving browsers. This functionality would be very useful. Hoping you can action this in the next update.
Regards
Martin

When I select "bookmark this tab", in the Firefox browser, I used to get the window allowing you to choose where to put the new bookmark. This 'bookmark location' window no longer appears so you don't know where the bookmark has gone. Prior to now, this feature has always worked fine.
I quit Firebox and reopened it but the problem remains.
I'm using Firefox 119.0.1 (64 bit) (the most current vers.) on a Macbook Pro running Ventura 13.3. I switched from Chrome to Firefox on this new Mac.
Please help!
Thanks very much.

Bookmarks in a left side column instead of on top
Firefox no longer is opening bookmarks in new tabs. Even with browser.tabs.loadBookmarksInTabs set to true.
