I started using Firefox because I was having issues with cliches in my banking app with Google. And I don't like using google. My grand daughter recommend Firefox.

I have Windows 11 on my laptop and downloaded Firefox for Windows 11. Everything worked great for a while, then I started having the same cliches with Firefox that I was having with Google. The bank IT tech support advised me to clean my cache. So I did and everything was fine,,,,, for a few weeks and now it has done it again. This caused me to go back and clean my cache again, I did that, restarted my banking app and now it is working fine.

The most confusing part is. when it cliched this time. I went in to verify my Firefox version and my Windows version . The best I could tell, my windows is 11 but my Firefox in 10, so I don't know what I'm doing. Why would is show that when I downloaded the version 11?

Finally, am I going to have to clean my cache on a regular basis or is there some way I can have it cleaned automatically by my computer?

I am 70 years old and I have worked on my own computer since they first came out with home computers with dial up modems with out windows, We had to use DOS commands,.. So I use to know my way around computers pretty darn well.. Now technology is so advanced it is like Greek to me. I need some easy instructions and a K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Silly). So can and will someone talk plan English to me?

I have not been able to access Gmail using Firefox for several weeks. When I try to access it, I receive a message from Google. It's says "Temporary Error" It says to wait a couple of minutes and try again. I have done that repeated and have waited now for several weeks. The message said if it did not work, sign out and sign back in. That did not work. Since I cannot access it from Firefox, I am having to use Chrome. I prefer using Firefox. Would appreciate any suggestions to get Gmail working again using Firefox. Thank you.

My mac froze, force quit did not work, unplugged it, turned it back on, all bookmarks were gone and not able to add new ones. Would like to restore old bookmarks and add new ones.

When I try to set up the new built-in VPN setting it gets stuck in a loop:

I click the "get started" which then opens another tab where it gets me to confirm my account

Once I do that it says it will automatically open the VPN

When it does so the VPN window is the same one as before with just the "get started" button and no other options.

If I click on that it then opens another new tab and does the exact same thing in an unending loop

i want to kepp my original profile as the new ones ccreate more problems as i lose everything i have and have to start from new can i keep my old profile as i am not liking the new irefox perhaps others do i do not please

I cannot access my Yahoo email account currently on desktop computer, using Windows 7 Pro and Firefox 115.37.0esr. The Select Verification Method window appears but the cursor changes from an active hand to just the regular cursor shape and nothing will be active in the window. This isnt a problem on my phone or when using Chrome on the same desktop. Is there any chance of resolving this with these versions of Windows and Firefox?

Firefox does not ask where to save downloads. They are simply saved automatically and then opened.,

1. I have no idea where a PDF was saved to when it opens.

2. When it is open (it opens in Foxit Reader), I can not delete the PDF. (aside: I consider this is flaw, but that is Foxit Reader's problem, not Firefox's. Or, is it really?)

I want downloads save to the same place ALWAYS or I want the option to ALWAYS specify where to save a download.

How do I achieve that goal?

I love vertical the tab view. Unfortunately, on one of my systems, vertical tabs to not render correctly. Groups are shown, but there are no favicons or titles shown (see attached image). The tabs are also not clickable. Any insight into how I could debug that would be amazing!

In navigation bar near the top of my home page, the Home Page widget is missing after a hack was corrected by a technician. i want to restore that Home Page widget to its original place in the left-hand section of the bar. So that even if I am in a different program or app--such as my email Inbox--I can toggle to my Home Page by clicking on the Home Page widget. How can i do that? i'm running Windows 11 and a Firefox browser.

The whole this week I have been dealing that Firefox fixed my issues and next day all settings went back as Google and Firefox is blocked or not longer providing me my request because of Google. I want to substitute Google for Firefox...I need an stronger help

Firefox 152.0.3 on Windows 10. SVG icons such as Google Maps interstate shields flash briefly then turn into squiggly lines. Same issue occurs when uploading images to websites and viewing Amazon book previews. Works fine in Chrome. Already tried: disabling hardware acceleration, toggling gfx.webrender.all, gfx.webrender.software.d3d11, gfx.webrender.allow-partial-present-buffer-age in about:config, clearing startup cache, removing Tampermonkey extension, disabling Killer Network Manager (CNMNSST.exe). I uploaded an image of how interstate icons show up in google maps.

Does the latest Firefox version have an IP Address? Possibly 150.1.2?

I have used 4 rows of site icons on my home page for years. (Linux FF since 2013, various distros.)

After an update, they became tiny AND so close to the bottom that a zoom of even 110 percent was unacceptable. (I prefer 100 percent.) 100 cut off the labels at the bottom.

I deleted my search bar from homepage yesterday, and had already deleted top stories and weather years ago.

Several searches over the last few days have done nothing.

I couldn't log into a site and it was suggested to 'clear cache' as follows: - settings - privacy and security - cookies and site data - clear browsing data BUT only cookies and temp cache sites. By mistake I believe I ticked browsing and download history too, and looks as though it is irrersible? Now I no longer automatically get all the little boxes I used to get for usual regular log ins (eg The Times, Meteo, banks, email etc) I think I can use 'add shortcuts' and re-enter these, but any other suggestions? This is unbelievable ! I posted this again in response to somebody not being able to comprehend, "Bookmark Spacing Vertical Intervals Not Optimized". What the Hell else do I need to add to clarify that ? You don't want, can't or refuse to answer -- I get that. But DO NOT rope-a-dope me be typing it's not clear or you don't comprehend what, Bookmark Spacing Vertical Intervals Not Optimized means. It is a clear, concise description of an IT problem. I have zero clue how to describe it any other way. This is flabbergasting -- it is a well-known problem but all the solutions offered I have seen are garbage. Am wasting huge amounts of time and money, neighbor ! I can't submit a bill for all this runaround !
