My add-on and default profile have disappeared after I entered safe mode. The browser window restarted with a new interface with different settings and all my add-ons were gone. There reason why I tried out safe-mode was to restore my open tabs which were lost after firefox updates but still showing in history without the possibility to restore them. Currently, I have three profiles in about:profiles but non of them contains my add-ons data. They all appeared as if I am opening the browser for the first time. Inside the profiles file explore, there are 5 newly created profiles see attached screenshots.

Things I did, Cleared cache, refreshed the profiles and restart the browser nothing works.

What is going on. :(. This sucks. I had special add-ons which contained my valuable settings and now they are all gone.

Scrolling in Firefox is causing any webpage to scroll many lines at once with a single click, and it seems to be exclusively happening to Firefox, as every other application scrolls normally. I have tried searching here and elsewhere for a solution, and I have tried to change about:config settings based on the recommendations I could find to no avail. I have also tried to refresh Firefox and have used Troubleshoot Mode, but those too have not worked. I have no clue as to what could have caused this, as I have not been messing with any settings prior to this.

I can't open a particular site i watch in private. I refreshed browser; I gave permissions off and then on or enhanced tracking off then on and neither nor changed anything. The website help desk that i tried opening verified password asked which browser and still it wouldn't open when putting correct information password and user name in. Any suggestions? I didn't do anything different and thought it was the website but i'm member and nothing's changed on their end.

Hi, i have problem with uninstalling uBlock Origin i cant remove them from extension tab. I tried refreshing firefox, reinstalling, opening firefox with troubleshoot mode and still nothing i dont know why is so difficult.Even when i reinstalling firefox this addon onstalling by itself even when im not logged in.Please help me. Thanks

Please tell me what to do to have the magazine work. It used to, but I think that some new thing like Adblock must have changed it and I cannot read the magazine now. Thanks.

Hi New Dell Inspiron 15-3000, installed Firefox 100 in new laptop, transfered all files via LAN from old laptop All websites work ok except 2 of the 4 banking websites I use. One site will not accept my login the other will open after putting in my login twice Have gone to "troubleshoot mode" and both sites work , go back to "normal" and they do not work Any clues how to fix this, not to technical please I am not a computer whizz and all children have left home Many thanks Ron Managh

My ISP is BT (UK) and I have 5 BT Mail email addresses. On the mail log-in page there is a sign-in box where I can choose which email address I wish to open. Unfortunately there are several instances of my main email address. Some with old passwords some from I know not where. I need to delete all those except the current one. I have tried clearing the cache and data but to no effect. The duplicates do not appear if I use a different browser, so it would seem to be a Firefox issue.

After installing Update 123.0.1, History and Bookmarks no longer show up in the search bar even though they're still checked in my Search settings. What could be causing this? Thanks!

All my menu texts are so TINY now, that I can't read them, but the browser page is SO WIDE that I can't ever see a whole page and I have to scroll from side to side to read things, which is a ROYAL PAIN as I miss seeing a lot of things. No one can seem to help. I tried the limited percentage things, 67% used to work but now that is too big and when I go smaller I can't read ANY of the text, it is TOO TINY! I can't do my work! The screen shot won't paste on here.

Saved themes in Firefox color not visible in add-ons manager. Does not fix itself in safe mode. One of the saved themes is a default preset I liked, the other is a preset I made myself, using all options except advanced colors.

It turns out the copied logins-backupjson file i had pasted on my desktop screen was already overwritten by an added or removed login, thus writing over when it did have the saved login removed that i was trying to recover

is there any other way to recover the removed login?

If you still have the signons.sqlite that was used in a previous Firefox version then you can try to restore passwords saved in that file.

Firefox 32 and later builds store the passwords in the logins.json file in the profile folder and no longer use the signons.sqlite file that has been used before (the matching key3.db file is still needed). If you still have the signons.sqlite file used in previous Firefox versions then you can try to force Firefox to migrate the passwords saved in that file (you will lose passwords saved in Firefox 32+ versions). You can force Firefox to reimport the passwords from the signons.sqlite file and rebuild the logins.json file with these steps:

   reset the signon.importedFromSqlite pref on the about:config page to the default value via the right-click context menu
   delete the logins.json file in the Firefox profile folder with Firefox closed 

When you restart Firefox then you should have the signon.importedFromSqlite pref with the value set to true and you should have the passwords imported in the Password Manager unless there may have been errors.

Firefox isn't loading anything, not even the about:configs page, this happened out of nowhere, i tried reinstalling it, restarting it but nothing is solving the problem, im using the lastest version btw

Please my firefox appears to have crashed, or is not working how can i fix it. As i try to open firefox document a dialogue box appears saying that either the firefox is not designed to run or that i should reinstall firefox
