Any time I launch Firefox, and it loads with the six tabs I have setup, it doesn't actually load the site until I click the tab. It shows the tabs with the correct favicons, but it doesn't actually download the site until I click the tab. Is there anyway to get it to load the site before I ever click the tab?

I have vertical tabs enabled and I'm trying to access the tab overview menu to close duplicate tabs. Unfortunately I can't find this menu anymore. If I disable vertical tabs, I can see the icon in the top right. How do

I lost the ability to browse using multiple tabs. I have to open multiple windows because the browser automatically goes directly to the site rather than a new tab. I've used firefox for YEARS. Must I change browsers to have this feature?

I am using the Firefox browser version 138. However I am not able to use the Tab Groups from firefox. I cannot add any Tabs to any group as there is no option for that.

The setting works...in the way that if i quit Firefox, it'll not continue from the tabs and windows, but if i reboot my pc and open Firefox, I find myself the same place i stopped...even though i have that setting disabled. I found someone else with same issue on reddit and i did the same restarting the browser and refreshing and all....all to no effect.

Por algum motivo, meu firefox está abrindo conforme a página inicial configurada, contudo, sempre deixei para retornar com as guias que ficam em aberto e por algum motivo, meu firefox bloqueou a opção de abrir já com as guias da sessão anterior.

Não sei se é coincidência, mas está acontecendo após esta ultima atualização (19-05-2026), alguém mais está com este problema?

Minha alternativa será abrir minhas páginas todas novamente, e configurar para o firefox pegar as URLs como pagina inicial padrão...

Recently, probably around a few weeks ago, I have found that i am no longer able to reorder tabs using the mouse left click and drag to reorder.

The mouse is working fine and I am able to do the same reorder on the Chrome browser however it doesnt work on Firefox anymore.

The only way to reorder tabs is to use the popup menu and select Move Tab.

I would really like to move from brave, but really need tab groups before I do so.

Its marked as progressive rollout. What exactly does that mean in terms of when I can expect to get this feature?

According to the "View recent browsing across windows and devices" command:

"Window 2 is current" and there is "Window 1" (which contains recent work)

My question(s):

How can I switch from window 2 (current) to window 1 (recent work)? and/or How can I combine both windows?

I just updated to 148.0 and now can't find a way to open a second window. I've searched for options since it's not coming up clicking the icon in my taskbar, or any other place indicated. Mac IOS

Since the last Firefox update, I've noticed an issue whenever I launch the browser. I have it set up so that I have multiple tabs open, and it's set up so that when Firefox starts up, it opens all of the previous tabs and starts me on the tab I was on when I closed the browser previously.

Now whenever I start Firefox, it opens to the last tab I was on, but said tab opens on my current homepage instead of the website that tab was on previously. I experimented by changing my homepage to "Youtube.com", picked a different open tab, closed Firefox and opened it again and sure enough, the tab was now on the Youtube page instead of what it had been previously.

Is this just a bug of the current Firefox version, or is there something in settings I can do to fix this?

This isn't a feature I ever needed or ever wanted. More than often, I accidentally group two or more tabs and have no idea how to ungroup them (yes, I know, there's some about:studies where I can remove stuff from grouped, BUT it's not a good mitigation). Firefox has been a great browser for decades. This new "feature" is rather disturbing than helpful. I understand some folks might need it, but please, at least provide a way to OPT OUT. Thank you!
