When I visit an http site and specify a non-standard port, it automatically changes to https, which is not a site redirect but something Firefox changes. This site already has an https service, and the http service will redirect to https. I reproduced the same situation in chrome. Accessing the http service with a non-standard interface was normal. After accessing the https service once, the service with the non-standard port was also changed to https. Clearing the data will restore it. Is this cached? My HTTPS-Only Mode is turned off, and set an exception for this site. thx.

Just pointing out the idiocy of this software... despite having tabs with multiple pages of the same host website open, Muppet-Zilla FireFux starts giving me the old Secure Connection Failed rubbish. Take the link, open it in public of MFF, it opens fine. Even a page that was open fine, try to open a link it, Secure Connection Failed rubbish. Hit the back key, A PAGE THAT WAS OPENED, then Secure Connection Failed rubbish. Yet in CCLeaner, Vivaldi, Chrome, Edge, no issues. So, I guess the message in that is clear - uninstall MFF, never install again. Good to know.

Hello!
I chose to switch to firefox recently so I haven't figured out how to fix this. Every time I turn my computer on and open my browser and try to log into youtube, I have to log in again. I can save my password for the site but it behaves every time as if it's my first time logging in. This hasn't happened in other browsers so im unsure if it's possibly google account settings. That's why it was my first assumption it was with firefox. so far other logins work fine for me. Thank you!

Hi, I have a new android phone and wanted to do a sync. Tried signing into my account which I haven't done in a long time (account opened in 2018). The password that is saved in Firefox passwords (same one is listed in my personal and seperate password file) doesn't work so I signed in using google. Now I want to change my password to one that actually works, but can't because I don't know my password. Can't sync, can't set a recovery key and certainly don't want to reset my password and lose all of my other passwords (the ones I forgot to add to my seperate password file). How in the world does firefox forget it's own password? Thanks, M. Britz
Firefox accepts my password, but rejects and cancels the connection once my authorization code is entered

I have my Settings-Autoplay set to block audio and video. The above 2 entries have somehow been added recently. I remove them and hit save, but when I open the setting again, they are still there.
I have searched online and Firefox and have not found anything about them. Are they a problem?
Thank you.

I am using the web api for videogame controllers to make a web remote controller for a robot, i use django to host the server. When i access the ip of the Django server in firefox i get errors like: getGamepads is not a function or errors while trying to get gamepads from the navigator, but when i access through chrome this does not happen. These errors only happen while accessing through the django server, when i access through the local file or other pages in the web that use gamepad api there is no issue. Because of that i think that it has something to do with firefox tight security restrictions on http sites, but i can't find a way to grant permission to my page to work properly, i am willing to compromise in security since it's just going to be used locally
Firefox opens as a new version every day, losing all my settings and favorites
