For the past three days I've been unable to get Firefox to load quickly as it used to before the last update. The last time this happened the problem was conflict with my security software System Mechanic. That problem was taken care of. This time I tried rebooting the computer, turning off all my add-ons, safe mode...nothing worked.

I'm using Win 10 64 bit. Can you help?

My email screen has gone to a larger page that will not fit on the computer screen, whether in full screen or partial, the inbox is pushed off the left side, and the email previews are so large they extend half the way across from the right side. Previously most of the center was for email lists, but now it is just a small part that will only show two or three emails. How can I change it back the the old format?

On Mac OS 13.2.1, if I make a window full screen in one display (my Macbook screen for instance), all other Firefox windows have a grey-ed out yellow button for minimizing and I can't use the shortcut CMD+M as normal. This does not happen if I use full screen windows in multiple "desktops" on one display, but as soon as I split Firefox across two displays and full screen at least one window, all the others can no longer be minimized.

Unlike some older issues, I can still see the close, minimize, and maximize buttons but the middle minimize button is disabled as if every window were set to full screen mode.

In about:config, I see two settings for controlling the minimum amount of time for DNS cache expiration: network.dnsCacheExpiration and network.dnsCacheExpirationGracePeriod. What is the difference between them? They are both set to 60 seconds by default.

Since past few years, I use Firefox for the peace of mind... But never get that.

Every now and then many sites are not supported properly.... And it severely gives now headache....

Thinking to switch to New Web Browser....

Problematic Sites are tons of tons... Here are a few...

1. pCloud 2. Mega 3. Digiboxx 4. OrgPad 5. PhotoADKing 6. Animaker 7. Powtoon 8. SBI ....etc.

Please somebody help reach this message to original developers and not community... I'm fed up of this.

Many developers also fed up of Mozilla... and stay away from updating add-ons or extensions... I literally felt helpless many times...

Until recently, I was able to print and create PDF from Mozilla browser. I can only create a PDF if I select the printer option Microsoft to PDF. For the past few weeks or so every time I try to do so the following gibberish appears in a notebook. See below:

On the Firefox mobile app, when I look at the screen with open page thumbnails, they are blank. And when I tap one of them, I only get a blank page. iPhone SE 2nd gen., iOS 16.3.1

I have used Firefox for a number of years and recently am having issues. I am not sure at this point if it is Firefox or Yahoo. I use Yahoo as my home page and my e-mail address. It keeps signing me out and then I cannot sign in without restarting the computer sometimes more than once. When Yahoo loads, it doesn't load the pictures, etc. that are normally to the left of the story headline. Facebook is the same way. I do have some add ons from Firefox and not sure if one of them is causing an issue. I cannot even talk to Yahoo as they will only help if you have a paid account - which I do not. I play some games on line and issues with those also. I really do not want to use Edge or anything else. I really like Firefox, but not sure what is going on. I have not changed any of my settings. Can someone please help me?

When I tried to cancel a PayPal automatic payment, the screen went to a white haze and locked up. I was able to cancel them in Chrome, but I’d like to know how to fix this in Firefox. TIA Bob Brown

Mozilla now FORCE updates, and after every FORCED update, firefox will stop working, or take off to 15 windows open, and over 750mgs used just to idle. According to microsoft this w-10 was fully up to date on 15/Mar/2023(6 days ago), so you don't have to STOOP to blaming this PC for the HUGE memory use, and 15 windows open on start.

Calendar has 22 categories and an option to add Custom Categories. However, any custom categories I have added whilst editing an entry only seem to get saved in that entry, not in the list. If I need to use that category again I have to enter it again - every time! It seems logical to me that adding a category means it gets to stay in the list and I'd also expect that it would then be sorted apha-numerically.

Is it possible to edit the category list somewhere in FF?

It used to be that, when I minimize a window in Firefox, there would be a Firefox icon for each window in my dock (the row of icons at the bottom of my Mac screen). When I would open Firefox, all windows would show up there; when I'd quit Firefox, the icons for the windows would disappear (leaving only the main icon for the app in my dock).

I just got a new computer (Macbook Air M2, in case that makes any difference) and I can't figure out how to make this work like it used to. Now, when I minimize a window, it just retreats to the main Firefox icon in the dock, and if I want to click on it or any other minimized window again, I need to right click on the icon and select a window from the list there, which really gets in the way of my work flow. I can't figure out how to set it like it used to be. Help!

Bonus question: The other thing I've always wanted to do, that seems like it should be possible but I don't knwo if it is — to name a window. So like, I could have a window named "Travel info" and one named "Project X" etc, so it would show the name I gave the window, rather than whatever tab happens to be currently showing, and I could see at a glance what's in the window. If there's any way to do this I'd love to know.

Recently converted to Firefox.

I routinely receive images from one sender that has a banner that renders two to three times the screen width no matter the screen size.

This issue doesn't occur on the Gmail Mobile app only while viewing Gmail on Firefox (The issue is not resident in Chrome).

way to limit the size of embedded / inline images when logged into gmail on Firefox?
