Every time I try to access my xFinity/Comcast Account to retrieve my email, Firefox prevents from going to the website and gives me the following message:

You don't have permission to access "http://login.xfinity.com/login" on this server.

This is now becoming a real pain in the ass since I cant retrieve my email now for the past three days. Prior to three days ago, this was never a problem. Even if I try from another server, I get the same error message....

I'm using the latest Firefox on Win10, with a fairly powerful laptop (64 gb RAM, intel i7 2.3 GHz chip), and for about a month now, whenever I use it, it uses so much CPU all the time that my laptop is overheating (slight hyperbole, but it's definitely churning the fans a lot, and the area around the keyboard gets hot to the touch). Sometimes it uses up to 45% CPU, and over 20% memory!!! (as reported in the task manager) Usually around 20-25% though. While Chrome, at the same time, is using 0.1%. It's not just when starting up, either, it's continuous during use, until I quit Firefox.

What the h*** is going on?!? I've tried the troubleshooting steps, but it remains crazy regardless of turning off extensions, and I'm just using the default theme. I notice it's mainly when loading images, like on social media.

This is insane. What is happening. Can someone help me?

Hi. I reallllly don't want to be the person asking the same question that happens every day...but I've tried to do a bit of searching. I could've done a lot more. I had a surprise windows reformat event this morning. Everything is shiny and unmodded. I have never had it open new indow tabs and new windows simultaneously. If I close the window on the toolbar and it closes the tab. I'd blame myself...but the only thing I did was change the font size because I'm nearly blind. Is this a new thing!? I hate it ! I don't want NEW windows, I use firefox for tabs.

this is happening in safe firefox and unsafe firefox. it must be something in the settings but i don't know!! (i've had the worst day at work and having to reformat was unexpected and incredibly frustrating...i just want my computer the way i like it)

Recently when viewing the ESPN website, it abruptly changes to Qwest. When I back click to return to the previous page, instead it switches to Amazon. The initial switch to Qwest happens whether or not I click on an ESPN story link or not (I never click on ads). When this occurs, I avoid clicking any links on the Qwest page, instead opting to close the page and then Firefox altogether to avoid a security risk. Are there any steps I should take to prevent this from occurring? Thank you for your time and consideration! Brett Portland, Oregon

I've just upgraded to Ubuntu 24.04 which came with FF 129.0.2. I had a backup of my bookmarks which I imported from an HTML file, and now they're a complete mess. :( When I go to Manage Bookmarks, it shows they were imported in separate folders, in a certain order, but the folders are not showing when I expand the Bookmarks menu, nor do all the bookmarks. In small letters above it says "Recent bookmarks" followed by a mix of bookmarks from different folders; and not all the bookmarks are there. I have no idea how to troubleshoot this

I get the 403 forbidden nginx error when trying to loan just 1 website " bowlersmart.com using Firefox and Edge. I've cleared the cache and cookies but that makes no difference. Help!!

Until today it worked fine. But now whenever I try to login to Xfinity I get You don't have permission to access "http://login.xfinity.com/login" on this server. It works fine on Chrome and Edge. I have disabled my add-ons. I have cleared cache, cookies, etc. I have rebooted. I have turned off firewall. I have checked my DNS. I have changed the DNS protection to OFF in Firefox. I have checked my proxy setting (I have no proxy). I have reinstalled Firefox. Etc. Etc. Nothing works. The fact that it works on Chrome and Edge, that it has worked everyday until today gets me confused. I also tried using my mobile phone as a hot spot to make sure it wasn't related to my Internet connection or IP address. Anyone have any ideas?

Always on the mobile app and sometimes on my computer browser I'm having to go into advanced settings and set the language to English there for almost every search even though I have my preferred language set to English in Firefox, and my google search settings say they're set to only English.

It somewhat made sense when I had a Mexican sim card in my phone, but now I'm in Belize where the official language is English, with a Belize sim card, and it's still happening. I speak some Spanish so for simpler things I can go with it, but not for everything and it's getting really annoying.

Has anyone encountered this and know what's up?

For at least 6 months Firefox has been losing a random password at a random time. I keep FF updated and I use Windows 11 phone Sync.What could be causing this? Does anybody else have this problem?

When I scroll down the page on MSN and try to open a link in a new tab the page jumps back to the top. It then opens a link of another article that I never right/left click on. I have my mouse set up to left click to open a new tab. Does not occur on any other sites.

I have a dev (wannabe, im guessing) hacking and mounting root on my devices. At the moment hes using the web tools to sandbox communication, downgrade safety and write indexes (hes up to 22000) for Firefox.

Its probably just an AI bot. But how do i stop it? It becoming scary now as I know hes been through my wallets etc

I used to watch Britbox.com on Firefox browser, but it won't come up anymore. AcornTV still works for me on Firefox. Now I have to go to different browsers to stream Britbox.com. After I fill out the Log In section, it just searches and searches, but never opens no matter how long I wait for it. What happened?

Hello, I receive a notification from a site that closes after 5 seconds, no matter what I do, I can't increase its open time, I changed dom.notofication.userintraction.enabled to true and increased the time in ease of access, still the problem isnot solved What should I do? i am using windows 7

Why is there so many restart to update firefox I have gotten them so many times in a week and sometimes twice a day. But checking the update history it doesnt show up as so many updates.

Why is this happening?
