Hi, I use Firefox as a primary browser on multiple PCs, so want it to remember a couple of addresses & payment methods for easy daily useage. However, I also access one business domain & when using that website only, I don't want Firefox to offer/remember/anything when it comes to addresses (which will be customer addresses) or payment details (again, for customers). Other autofill, like suggestions for some form fields would ideally still work.

Is there are way to make one domain exempt from address & payment saving/retrieval?

I accidentally typed my protonmail password into the field of my username/mail address. I don't remember what more I did (propably answered yes to save) but now there is as autofilled my password for username always I open my Protonmail account. I am using Firefox as browser (should be the newest version) while Emailing.

I tried to delete autofill of Firefox according to the next advise: "go to Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll to "Forms and Autofill," and uncheck "Autofill addresses" to stop saving them"

Then I was astonished. There is no "Forms and Autofill" setting on my Firefox at all!

Protonmail settings didn't help either nor Windows 11 - neither FAQ.

I run Firefox on Fedora Linux (Silverblue). For several releases I've noticed that the reader mode only displays the Close Reader View, Text and Layout, and Theme options and nothing else i.e. no content.

When I run it in troubleshooting mode, it works. I've tried disabling all my extensions, deleting all my extensions,restoring the browser to default settings but nothing makes a difference. I'm always on the latest release (currently 147.0.3). I currently have multiple profiles, but it didn't work even before I rebuilt them. I'm out of ideas.

Recent (Windows?) update signed me out of Firefox. Logged in again, but bookmarks aren't showing up. Bookmarks are marked for sync-ing, and I did try sync-ing twice. Maybe I have to sign back in on the original device?

how do you disable or unreaveal when the mouse hovers over the task bar (search bar) at the top while in full screen mode (f-11) to me this annoying when the mouse enters that section of the screen. chrome does not do this. Is there a way to toggle off a switch in a setting? if not, can one be added.

Within the Applications section of my settings, I have it set to open content type of crcc with an application. However when I try now after the latest Firefox update, it opens a new blank tab instead of just launching the application. Anyone else notice this and is there a work around. Of note, after about 5 minutes it does eventually open the application.

Starting about a week or two ago, I noticed the text of Firefox is grainy. But when the cursor moved, it would get grainy in a different way. So, some letters which were previously unreadable became readable, but other letters became unreadable.

Going to the same web pages with other browsers renders the page readable. So, the problem seems to be Firefox specific.

Even while typing this, portions of the characters on my screen blink in and out.

If there is no solution, I will have to utilize some other browser.

My firefox broswer is starting super slow since the last update. I am on a windows 10 lap top running McAfee anti virus software.

In my task manager there are multiple firefox icons running. See the attached screen shots.

I copied one of the crash report into the note section below.

If any one know show to correct this slow start up pleas let me know.

New Window slider (see screen shot ) in settings unchecks when Firefox is closed and opened. I have completed a fully uninstalled FF and completed a clean installation to check that was not the issue. It was not. It has been a few weeks now so not sure which upgrade fried it.

Every time I open more than a couple of tabs, a Firefox pop-up asks if I'm overwhelmed; I'm not. How can I make it stop? (I have already unticked Recommend features in Settings and set browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.asrouter.userprefs.cfr.features to False.) Equally annoying is the constant 'Summarise page' feature reminder. I have certainly Got It! by now.

I’m experiencing ongoing problems with Firefox and hope to get some help or clarification here.

Main issue: I’m unable to sign in to my Outlook / Microsoft email account using Firefox. The login page does not load correctly, or the sign-in simply fails (Error 400). When I use another browser (for example Microsoft Edge), the login works without any issues.

System information:

Operating System: Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2021 (LTSC, supported until 2032)

Firefox version: 147.0.3 (64-Bit)

Additional problems: Besides the Outlook login issue, Firefox has recently become more problematic during normal daily use:

Text selection with the mouse often does not work correctly

Clicking and dragging to highlight text is unreliable or stops working

Pages sometimes feel unresponsive, (ChatGPT)

Overall, the browser feels less stable than older Versions on Windows 10 22H2

These issues seem to be getting more frequent over time and occur on multiple websites, not just Outlook.

I switched my system to Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2021 (LTSC, supported until 2032) in the hope of improved performance and stability.

What I have already tried:

Clearing cache and cookies

Disabling all add-ons/extensions

Testing in Private Browsing mode

Restarting Firefox

Unfortunately, none of these steps resolved the problems permanently.

My questions:

Is Firefox fully supported on Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2021 / LTSC for the long term (until 2032)?

Are there known issues with Microsoft / Outlook sign-in specifically in Firefox?

Are there known stability issues (text selection, mouse interaction, page responsiveness) in recent Firefox versions?

What settings or troubleshooting steps are recommended to improve stability?
