I had my work email as my primary and used asimha.cloud@gmail.com as my secondary email. I'm no longer with that company and don't have access to that email. I'd like to use asimha.cloud@gmail.com as my primary email. The work email in question that has to be removed is - simhaaj@vmware.com.

I no longer have access to the primary account email. I went under "manage account" tried to make the secondary email my primary, Firefox sends verficiation code to my primary email. I do not have access to that email.

I am leaving my old email site. I attempted to add the email address that will eventually become my primary ( ID) but it says that email address already exists...but it is not listed anywhere in Firefox (Mozilla ) that I can find. Typically software issues ..day in the life crap.

I changed email adress 3 month ago and didn't update my Firefox profile. With only that adress registered (no secondary email) I cannot change to a new one or add secondary because a confirmation mail are sent to my old account, that are deleted. Are there any way to change email, add phone number or .... without access to the old email account?

Unsure if it really matter, for now, but my firefox account, when I go to edit bits and pieces, it gets my Firefox version correct, but gets my MacOs version wrong. I'm on 12.76 (Monterey), but Firefox is showing me as 10. Is this normal or anything that might matter?

My account has my primary email and it used to have my secondary email connected as well. I now want to create a new account with the secondary email so I can have another profile, so I deleted my secondary email from the manage accounts on my primary email. I ensured that this says it is removed on all devices and it is. But when I try to create a new account with that secondary email, I keep getting the error that I need to sign in my primary email and I am taken back to my profile with my primary email.

How can I fully detach my secondary email so that I can make a new account with it?

Hi, I have an account that has all my bookmarks etc... that I do not want to loose. The Firefox account has one email listed and I forgot to add a secondary before my old email was disabled. When I try to add now Firefox send a code to my old email which I have no access to. The extension of the email has been changed to @gmail.com vs the old email was "@shaw.ca" (company got brought out & not exist anymore). thanks for your help Regards, Melinda

What is apparently the official Firefox policy is incredibly dumb:

They provide users with that ability to add secondary email addresses, recovery codes, and authentification, BUT they REQUIRE access to the primary email address to make the secondary email address primary.

IF the primary email address is unavailable, the secondary email addresses, recovery codes, and authentification are completely useless for making the secondary email address the primary one.

This supposedly provides "enhanced security".

Pro Tip: If you deny ALL internet access, you will be very secure on the internet.

Genuinely astonished that Firefox Support thinks this is not insane.

I no longer have access to the gmail i used to sign up Moxillla Account since they deleted it wrongfully. How can i change my moxilla email to another one? I tired to add secendary email on Moxilla but i need to first fill the verification code which is sent to my now-nonexistant gmail. Please help me.

Original Firefox account uses an older email now defunct and is no longer accessible. Security code being sent to add secondary email address can't be completed as older email account isn't accessible. Suggestions?

my old email was discontinued kanokla no longer provides the service ,so i got a gmail address and i wish to update my primary but i cant because i need a 6 digit code from my kanokla email which doesnt exist any more.so i cannot update my info because i am working towards installing Linux and i am trying to get everything in order. can you help please my new email is [email removed]@gmail.com

Firefox is sending notifications to an old email address. In my profile, the address is [email 1 removed]@live.be, but I'm receiving notifications at [email 2 removed]@skynet.be. Can you fix this?

HI I want to change my Firefox Account email to a new one because my email [email removed]@gmail.com has been hacked and i want to change it to my new email: [email removed]@gmail.com

I have an issue changing my billing information for Firefox Relay Premium. When I click on "Manage payments" I always get to a web page stating "Invalid billing information". See also screenshot attached. The arrow keeps turning and I cannot select anything on this web page to change my billing method.
