After Firefox updated my browser version to 129.0, my username and password no longer work on my credit card website. I contacted tech support at the credit card banking site through a live phone call. I told them about the upgrade and also that I can use Firefox on my iPhone to login successfully. I don't know what version is currently on my iPhone but it does work there. This problem is specifically on my Mac Mini. I also can login using same password and username on the Mac through Safari. Their tech support said the problem is with that version (129.0) Firefox web browser. What say you? Thanks.

On several site there's a greyed out box top right, which disables anything it covers, can't be got rid of, and makes using Firefox for these sites impossible. Help, please?? Thank you! (I'm having to use Chrome...)

With Yahoo (and other sites) suddenly every single time I am required to use the "authenticator app" routine. I've gone for months or even years with persistent sign-ins before. What happened? How do I get back?

It's like I'm in private mode - but I'm not in private mode.

I have two notebooks with Firefox (NB1 and NB2). NB2 rebooted and Firefox restarted losing all open tabs; now I would like to bring the tabs from NB1 to NB2; both have synchronisation enabled, but when I go to ‘Settings, synchronisation’ on NB2 it says ‘Synchronising in progress’ and nothing happens. I've also tried going to NB1 and sending a tab to NB2; I select NB2 and nothing happens.

When I log in as admin to my wordpress website, firefox gets stuck in an endless reload loop.

Sometimes if I clear the browser history or open a private window, I can successfully log in and load a page - once. The page seems to load normally but there are 409 errors shown for many of the files in the developer tools.

If I reload the page again, it goes back to the endless loop.

This started when I installed a wordpress caching plugin, but the problem is specific to firefox, so I don't really know whether firefox or the plugin is actually responsible.

How could firefox be getting 409 errors when other browsers get normal 200 responses for the same resources?

Why is firefox triggering this reload loop, and is there a way I can stop it?

when i visit sites like home depot, lowe's or southwest airlines the auto populate feature thinks I live in atlanta, but i live in new orleans...how can I correct this

I am developing a django website.

The login on the default admin page is not working when I am testing locally on my mobile. I assume it is because the connection is http (and not https) in order to protect the users (which is a good thing).

I assumed this is the problem, because on chrome, I got also blocked, but I got this hint.

Therefore following 2 stories:

• As a user, I wish I receive a feedback when something is blocked by the browser, so that I understand what is happening.
• As a developer, I wish I could allow login on whitelisted sites (local websites like 192.* ?), so that I can test my website on android without creating self-signed-certificates.

If my assumptions are wrong (but the server did not receive any call), do you know, how I can visualize the network calls on android?

I set up a custom search extension and am trying to use 'z' as the keyword.

It doesn't work. If I use anything else, it works fine, I just can't use 'z'.

Since I use 'z' in Chrome, I'd like to keep it consistent.

I don't see any other search engines using that keyword.

Is there something I'm missing here? Why can't I seem to use 'z' as a search engine keyword?

I am using FF 129.0 64 bit on Linux Mint. AFAIK all is up to the latest version.

When I log into my website admin on wordpress, my site gets redirected for a security check on the server (lightspeed or PC Guard). Once this is complete, the login continues.

Unfortunately for the last 6 weeks, my website redirects with a message, "Verifying that you are not a robot" and it hangs there permanently.

I have tried to get my server to disconnest Lightspeed and PC Guard (but then have NO security protection). Nothing seemed to work, and access was sproradic, but seemed best when FF was completely cleaned, cache, cookies, etc. However, even this did not guarantee a login.

Then I found that all worked perfectly using Chrome. Further, having logged in using Chrome, the FF version would now be unlocked and work perfectly.

So it seems as though FF is not clearing a status/flag/file somewhere and that Chrome clears this, leaving FF working again - for another 24 hours. Then the whole cycle starts again.

Any ideas?

I used Firefox and recently there is no audio on any of the websites I visit. I am using an ASUS laptop with Windows 11. Other browsers (Edge and Chrome) do have audio. I tried disabling all of the add-ons but it did not help. Has anyone else experienced this or have a possible solution?

Hello, I did everything mentioned in support articles, but the tabs on firefox are still crashing frequently, sometimes the first I open, sometimes it's the third... But it is making my work really difficult. When I am browsing in either regular mode or safe mode, the scroll buttons for next or previous slide do not appear on the MSN web page. However, if I open a private browsing tab from either regular or safe mode, the scroll buttons appear and are functional. I am running Firefox version 129.0.2 (64 bit) on Windows 11 Home version 23H2. I have refreshed Firefox and also uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. I have also toggled "always show scrollbars" on in Windows settings. No change. These scroll buttons function in other browsers (Edge, Chrome), but I prefer Firefox. Where do I go from here?

I have an account with a certain email. I need to use a different email for specific connections. Do I need to create a new separate Firefox account with the second email? If so, how?

After i closed firefox with two windows it only restored the wrong tab and because most of the tabs were open some time ago i cant restore it from history too. Can i somehow restore them?

Hi, out of nowhere my Firefox has stopped loading any pages for the past hour. I have read the existing community articles and cleared all of my history, cache, cookies, and restarted my computer 4 times. Firefox is up to date and was working fine up until I left my computer and returned to it an hour ago. I haven't downloaded anything new or clicked anything weird, I was just listening to a regular podcast this morning. All websites either show up as left-aligned text with no images, or are completely blank. This includes Gmail, Tumblr, Youtube, EyeBuyDirect, etc. All of these sites load perfectly in Edge so the issue is specific to Firefox. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Edit to Update: I turned off my AdBlock extensions one by one to narrow down the issue. The problem was AdBlocker Ultimate. I disabled it and now all my websites in Firefox are working as normal.
