Lately when opening something in full screen it shows the background as sort of a frame around it. The dark blue at the top is the header background colour I use. It's really annoying. I can't tell if it happened in a recent update as those happen automatically. But it's just been the past few days. I use 113.0 (64) right now. I'm sending a screenshot of how it looks.

I have been using firefox for more than 4 years now. But from about a year, i m facing the issue with the Sudden High CPU usage in Windows task manager.

The task manager has 2 different firefox processes. One being actual instance i am running. and the 2nd being the automatically opened in background.

i have figured out whenever i have active internet connection and my system is on charging the 2nd task automatically starts in background and uses upto 80% of cpu usage. Ending the 2nd task form task manager doesn't affect anything. only the cpu usage drops. Also Closing my firefox instance does nothing to that 2nd task.

I have tried lot of solutions i found on community. Nothing seems to help. problem still persist. I even posted comments on ongoing threads. but no reply from anywhere.

this is the last time i m trying. if i get a solution its good. otherwise i am going to shift to edge. I have no other choice.

I am having problems with video playback on some websites (see screenshot attached). The problem is that the video options start to "multiply" - for example, when I start the video there is (as is normal) one 'Speed' and one 'Quality' button, but then every second these buttons start to multiply. This happens only on some websites - for example, it does not happen with normal videos on YouTube, although it happens on YouTube Shorts sometimes.

This is my first question on the Mozilla Support page, I thank you in advance for your help and I hope I follow the community guidelines. Please feel free to leave any suggestions or feedback concerning how I should proceed for asking for help in the future.

FF 113.0.2 Win 7 64 Bit

When I read a pdf online it gets downloaded even though FF is set to always ask. When it asks I choose open with FF or open with Adobe Reader . Both downloads the file to my download folder. It doesn't ask what foder to download to even though I have FF set to ask where to download to in settings/general

I tried setting browser.download.improvements_to_download_panel to false as here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1370494 but it didn't help

hello i have around 30+ themes and i want to delete all of themes (because i want to keep the favorite ones ) but if i delete them one by one takes time , is there any option to delete them all at once i haven't found anything on internet

My bookmarks are in the list, but URLs which are not bookmarked are also in the list. (I say some of the entries are not bookmarks because there is no blue star if I double click on them.)

i cant move the tabs around in the task bar. my firefox version is up to date, but yesterday-ish my laptop forcibly updated itself. its still on windows ten, but thats the only thing i can think of other than installing a kidpix four emulator that may have caused the problem

I am using Firefox Developer Edition in a work environment that only saves directories between weekly restarts by explicitly managed rules. As a result of some missing folders from my weekly restarts, I need to sign in to my Firefox account and enable sync each week. Currently my machine retains the %APPDATA%/Mozilla and %LOCALAPPDATA%/Mozilla directories + children.

What other directories are needed by Firefox Developer Edition in Windows to retain the user profile/syncing, et. al.?

I have AdBLockPlus (free version) installed and have not had any issues until today. Firefox did some updates and now the Add-In is no longer working. I have checked that it is specifically turned on for the websites I'm visiting and I've tried turning it off and back on to no avail.

We have set up exceptions for mail.google.com and accounts.google.com in Settings. Yet, Gmail is still asking for passwords to log in and saving them. I thought I had done all it would take to have Gmail remember them. Am I missing something?

Also, we cleared cache.

What I did to check for possible local problems:

• Hardware (AMD Radeon HD 6670 connected by HDMI to Acer-QG241Y)

Used monitor color-test (https://www.eizo.de/monitortest/) and fiddeled arround with all color-gradients: all smooth.

• switched off anything I could think of in Firefox (13.0 64 Bit Win 10 (updated today))

Extensions, plugins, themes

So I suspect there is no problem at all with my hardware or software. Just an bad choice in the color design of the websites I visit.

If so, what can I do? Is there any chance to provide some remedy locally? Installing a theme (I don't know anything about themes) or provide a local CCS to override the CSS of the website? (Would not know how to connect such skript to Fx and what to "instructions" to specify inside. But as I understand the idea of CCS correctly, this is an option that it was built for.)

I have always read downloaded .pdf files in Acrobat. I inadvertently changed the setting to "Open in Firefox" (I got a prompt and clicked it without intending to). I have changed the preference back to "Use Adobe Acrobat" in Settings/General/Applications, but Firefox keeps opening pdfs in a browser window. How do I get Firefox to abide by my preference setting?

I have set .pdf files to be opened in firefox, not download and browser is still opening those in new tab and also downloading those. What could cause this problem?

When FF (113.0.1) is maximized clicking on the first (left hand) pinned tab does not open the tab. Hovering over the tab doesn't change the background color of the tab.

If I restore down the window, hovering over the tab changes the background color of the tab from light grey to a slightly darker grey and clicking the tab opens it.
