I have a suggestion, could Alt + left/right arrow switch between tabs that are next to each other? This shortcut is e.g. in PyCharm and I think it would significantly improve my browsing experience. It seems to be currently unassigned.

In this menu in my attached screenshot, where exactly do these entries in this yellow box originate from, how exactly do they differ from the recently closed tabs entries?

I use Zorin OS 17 Pro and Mozilla Firefox for Zorin 1.0 Version 132.0 (64-bit).

Currently I get an error after logging in to gmx.net “Your browser is not supported.

Can you please fix this error?

Hello! Everything was fine until I briefly used a VPN extension for maximum 10 minutes (it's UrbanVPN), and when I returned to the tab with the youtube video on it, it had no sound (I've used this particular extention plenty of times, it's the first time this has happened, also I don't know if it has anything to do with the extension, I just thought I should mention it). Laptop is fine, all sound everywhere else works perfectly, except from any video played from the mozilla browser. I took some advice from online: I restarted the computer, I selected troubleshooting, I typed about:profiles and selected 'Restart normally', nothing has worked so far. The only thing I haven't done yet is disabling graphics hardware acceleration, an advice from mozilla support for a similar problem a person had 6 years ago (no sound on youtube), but I can't find where that is, maybe because I have the latest mozilla version. Could you help me?

My Firefox started crashing a lot recently. Dozens of tab crashes within the span of just a minute or two are not uncommon. Sometimes, the entire browser itself crashes. Usually, the reason given is a vague EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION_WRITE or EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION_READ. I should note that in my case, the crashes affect most of the browsers I use, but they do not crash nearly as often as firefox does.

I've tried using it without any extensions (clean install), and with hardware acceleration disabled. I've run a RAM test also, which showed no issues. Disk check also indicated no issues. I installed windows 10 and even windows 11 on the secondary hard disk, but the issue persisted. I've also tried forcing my discrete/integrated GPU to be used solely as the display adapter, but the crashes still persisted.

When using firefox on ubuntu, the crashes do not happen, strangely. There was only one instance that I noticed the crashes on ubuntu, and that was when I set my discrete graphics card as the exclusive display adapter, from the BIOS settings.

Anyway, nothing really sticks out as the root cause. I am trying to send an error report for a website to Mozilla. I got to the menu (3 vertical lines in the upper right) but there is no option to send an error report.

Since the 132.02 certain eBay items will not display its shipping info. Only on Firefox. Its not addon because I disabled all and I have the same addons installed on edge and all good there, I can see the shipping info on edge. And its only about 50% of the items which is weird. I have done the basic troubleshooting and I have to think it was this update. If you see the images attached Shipping values should be displayed. Some have a $ value some say +shipping, those are not displaying the value. Please help me figure this out as I use Firefox ALL day but if this continues I HAVE to switch. Ebay is my main source of income now.

In another thread, someone mentioned there is a new option for the sidebar to "collapse" which I guess means to close itself, but that isn't happening on mine yet. Perhaps it is an experimental option that is currently in testing. To roll back your sidebar to the classic behavior, you could try the following: (1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. CLARIFICATION OF MY QUESTION: I checked the way you said and the sidebar.revamp already says false. What I am talking about is as follows: In the windows 10 we had, and using Firefox, there was the complete My Bookmaks list on the left side, from top to bottom. Those not showing I could scroll down through them. It also had a search bar where I could search for a sepcific bookmark. (I have had 2 strokes and I cannot remember things if I can't see it as I do it.) NOW, however, with Windows 11, there is a "tab" I guess you call it on the left end of the ribbon. If I click on that, the My Bookmarks expands down (like it did look before) and I can scroll down if the one I am looking for is below the shown part of the list. HOWever, if I go to type anything outside of that list, it collapses back to the tab. It also does NOT have the search bar for the bookmarks at all. So if I cannot remember where the bookmark is located (I have 95 bookmarks) I have to scroll down through most of them to find it. What I want is for the entire bookmark list to REMAIN visible or on top when I am doing other things. Ialso would like to be able to search for a specific bookmark which would bring it right up.

I have been using two Firefox browser windows a lot recently. Suddenly the response time to a request to open new window went from immediate to 20 seconds. Initially that meant I hit the "new window" button 10 times to get any response which meant browsing was interrupted for the next 5 minutes by the appearance of yet more new windows at 20 second intervals! Has anyone any idea about what has happened?

I just noticed that when I start writing in the Firefox URL bar there is a blinking straight bar that remains at the start. And if I click of somewhere else and then start writing again, the bar remains blinking at the start of the new text. I also don't have the straight line you get when moving left or right in the text using the arrow keys.

I couldn't capture the bar with a screen shot so I have edited the images to where the bar is when beginning typing, and then after I have clicked of the text bar and then entered it again and typed some more.

The "Print Tab" for my cruise does not show... but if i hover over it I can tell there's a tab there? I want dark pages but all fonts to be whatever color I choose but do not understand how to adjust this. Help

I have two installations of Firefox. One windows10 and one Linux. BOTH are doing the same thing on this site https://www.rapidonline.com/

I cannot scroll using the mouse roller. Page up/down doesn't work. Middle click and drag doesn't scroll either. BUT, for the briefest of time, BEFORE the Firefox shield in the address bar, I can scroll.

Hovering over the blue shield shows the text... Blocking social media trackers, cross site tracking cookies, and fingerprinters. Turning the Firefox protection OFF makes no difference, other than the shield is white and struck out. Disabling uBlock origin, or malwarebytes makes no difference. Both my installations do the same BUT, I called a pal who also uses Firefox on Linux and windows and he reports all is well and he uses uBlock, but not malwarebytes.

I have not actively messed with my settings on either platform. Oh, I was told to clear the cache. No joy.

Why does Firefox think it is blocking stuff but turning the protection off makes no difference? Why should two separate installations behave identically? Why does my pal's Firefox using Linux work on this site 100% ? I feel like I am going insane...

After updating firefox nightly on my macbook air m1 all navigation buttons (back, forward, new tab, bookmarks etc.) have dissapeared.

Any idea how to get them back?

WSJ did some sort of update and now things are broken in the regula browser. I've tried disabling all my extensions, putting multiple sites on the cookies exceptions list and turning off protection in regular mode and it does not work. Private Browsing works out of the box no issues.

The main way to know if you have issues is do you see the stock ticker near the top of the webpage, your name with account info, and some drop down windows. The Live Update sub-websites are broken. I think WSJ on some sites like those thinks I'm not logged in or can't verify I'm logged in.

Its weird. I've had similar things on FireFox before, what is regular mode doing? Why does Private browsing work? Can I somehow "force" the same settings in a regular windows on a per Website basis? This doesn't seem possible at this point.

The list of previously visited sites in firefox windows seems to have shrunk in some recent update of firefox. Now, when I click the address bar I only get 5 options, the first being search with google and the remaining 4 being previously visited sites. Used to be that list was much longer. Is there a way to customize this, or revert it back to where it contains 10+ items?

The screenshot function seems to have a bug. The function works as far as selecting "save full page" or save visible" but the image download never happens. Version is up to date and I have restarted but the issue persists.
