Firefox crashed and when it did all my history was gone. All of it. For months if not years. I need to get the history from about the last month back. I am not asking for community people to answer as I already checked that and there is no accountability, clarity, ability to confirm etc. etc. etc. I am asking the engineers at Mozilla to please give me the method that will surely work and is user friendly. I am willing to pay a small fee if necessary.

As I am a corporate website administrator and I use an ultra-wide monitor with a resolution of 3840x1600 pixels, I need to be able to run firefox with window size of full HD to verify the compatibility of the site for common displays.

How can I ensure that the Firefox window always starts at this size?

In the case of Chrome, you just add the parameter -window-size=1920,1080

Unfortunately, this solution does not work here (so it worked in older versions).

I found some plugins that promised this, but none worked correctly.

I find the option to set a default size to be very basic and essential and prevents me from switching from Chrome to Firefox.

I'm currently consuming APIs hosted on an external server using Java( or any other server side language), and everything works smoothly. However, when attempting to consume the same APIs in JavaScript, I encounter the 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' error.

After some research, I discovered that browsers implement security checks leading to this issue. Can anyone advise on how to disable these security checks or resolve this issue when accessing the website in the Firefox browser? Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

i made a custom firefox colour setup for my desktop machine, and it doesn't have any option to save it- because of this, on my laptop which is synchronized to my desktop's firefox settings, it is not showing up at all and if i go to firefox colour it isn't there for me to add. so how do i DO this???

i do not want to maker my custom setup public so it is not available to all, it is my own setup using some of my own artwork which i do NOT want made public on the internet.

there MUST be a way to save it however and let my laptop's firefox also display it,m yes???

and on that topic, why isn't it just automatically synchronizing when everything else does?

When using multi-point headphones (I'm using open-runs) that are connected to my Windows 10 computer, while Firefox is open, the headphones think that audio is playing, even when it is not.

Closing Firefox fixes the issue, but playing any music from youtube/soundcloud and then pausing it does nothing to tell the multi-point headphones that audio is no longer playing.

Any help on getting Firefox to not do this is appreciated.

Are there any reports of erased history lately? Perhaps since v122.01? I had history that goes way back.

I few of my profiles have a month's worth I don't sync. I have these two profiles in particular that are quite distinct from one another. Nothing in common, but both only have history for the past two days. None of my related settings have been altered.

I tried replacing places.sqlite from backups, but unless they were backed up that way, it did not help.

I have the same problem https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1421734 it's not a pdf. If I want to print a shipping label from eBay using Firefox nothing happens if I try to make it bigger. I can make it smaller but it is too small to begin with. If I use Brave or Edge (using the same printer) it works I can adjust it and make it bigger up to 200 %. I have already reset the printer options in Firefox and tried when disabling all add-ons.

Hello dear Support-Team!

After updating Firefox 118.0.2, I loose all my pinned an not pinned tabs! After restarting the updated version, all pinned tabs shows a globe-symbol and the not-pinned tabs where empty. After an additional restart of firefox ALL tabs are gone.

What I tied so far: restoring the Firefox-profile from a backup -> no success. uninstalling firefox and install a fresh (newest) version and restoring the profile -> no success.

The only way to get the tabs back, is to uninstall firefox, restore the profile from backup and install the old version 118.0.2!!

Is there any reason, why this update fails? Is there any way to successful update Firefox, without loosing all my tabs??

I had Wavve.co app installed on my laptop. Was using it but started to have problems (ie, the app slowing and then not working at all). Firefox showed me a message that said something to the effect that this page was slowing down the browser, did I want to "Stop Page"?

So I clicked "Stop Page", but now even after doing a reset to a date PRIOR to installing the app, I still cannot access the app on this laptop. Will I now need to switch to another browser to continue working with Wavve? Is there ANY way to UNDO that action? Suggestions?

Hi! Relaying this for another Firefox user. Whenever they go to Google Images, it seems like the images don't fully load. GIFs don't play, and it ends up showing the preview rather than the full image. This isn't happening on other sites like Bing. Any ideas what could be causing this? A uninstall and reinstall didn't help.

I want GPO option in ADDS, which do not open closed pages where i login by user and password. For example udemy.com where i logged by user and password, close Mozila. Next open mozila put udemy.com and it open last session as authenticated status (User and Pass). I do not want this.

I've tried a few addons that download website images but the website I go to has thumbnails that are linked to larger jpg's and addons I've used won't download the linked jpg's. I used "Download all images" addon which has a "Deep Search Option" and filters for downloading linked images but I can't get it to work. I couldn't figure out how to use the filters. I read about another addon called "download-links" that can search linked images and I might give it a try. Any suggestions? Has anyone tried "Download all images" addon?

So, i transferred to my new PC I had a recovery key, and about a lifetime worth of passwords on my account. I exactly followed these steps:

Reset your password with your account recovery key

If you forgot your password and need to reset it, follow these steps.

   Click the Forgot your password? link on the sign-in page.
   Check your email and click the password reset link in it.
   Enter your account recovery key.
   Create a new password.
   Create a new account recovery key. 

Now, my recovery key became my new password and my account is blank. Great. Have a good time!

Recently my browser stopped opening in full screen. It opens in a little box that is usually partially off screen. I have not changed any settings and do not understand why this is happening. I maximize the window which usually has to be done twice (meaning I hit the maximize window twice to get it to go completely back to full screen). I have also tried dragging the corners of the window to maximum size, but the following day it will go back to not opening in full screen. If someone could help me with this, I would really appreciate it.

This AM, I opened my Firefox Browser for the first time today and attempted to sign into my EaseUS account. I was confronted by a "request" to add "Browsing Safety by Safely" as an add-on to my Firefox. However, it would not let me to skip this "request" without adding it to Firefox. Nothing I attempted worked. I've never heard of a compulsory add-on, least of all from Mozilla! If I would have had the time, I'd have tried different accounts/log-ons/browsers, etc. However, I didn't have the time to do it then. Help please.

What is this? Have you heard of it? Do I have a problem? Should I remove the Add-On?
