Hi, 1. I use PocketSmith accounting software and some its functions do not work since the last Firefox update. The same problem exists regardless of which computer I use. The common factor is Firefox. The problem does not occur if I use a private window in Firefox or use a Chrome browser. PocketSmith have run extensive checks and the problem does not appear to be at their end.

2. I can no longer log in to my eBay account, unless I use a private window or Chrome. I can enter my user name but am unable to progress to the password window. Again this occurs regardless of the computer I use. Both are Mac desktops.

I have a website that I host. It is behind a proxy. It is a resolvable FQDN with DNS hosted by a major provider. The issue is when I browse to it via Firefox 124 it eventually errors out with connection reset, however if I open a private window it goes right there. I have tested other browsers and it works fine with them (Chrome, Safari, Vivaldi). I thought maybe it was plugins so I tried shutting off plugins one by one restarting after each one and that did not help. I tried in safe mode and could not get there. So I backed up my bookmarks and wiped out the directory and all for Firefox and tried on a fresh directory and that did not work except in private window mode.

When using picture in picture on Prime Video, my subtitles aren't showing up in the window, but instead on the original page, despite prime video being one of the original supported websites. Any ideas on how to fix?

Since the last Firefox update I cannot access my banking web site. I access this site almost daily. It is Regions Online Banking. It will not accept my username either by copy and paste or by typing it in. By not accepting it I mean the login space remains blank. I disconnected from my VPN, no change. I was able to access the site normally using MS Edge.

I am running Windows 11, 64-bit.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm having trouble using my bank's website. Sometimes I can't log on (error messages) or I can log on and can't use certain features. The bank is Regions. The site works with other browsers. Is there some setting on the latest Firefox that needs to be adjusted? The articles I've read don't help. Thanks.

Get pop-up (or whatever you wish to call it) while browsing. No way of clearing it.

It does not show in Task Manager. Closed all the Google (first name) processes no change.

Went into firefox help then closed help tab and then original tab OK.

Reply to zeroknight. Disabling the extensions did the trick. I only have five extensions so I'll just go through them one at a time until I find the culprit.

Reply to zeroknight - 2. I use Bitwarden for my password manager. When I disabled it I was able to access Regions. All my other logins seem to be working OK. Maybe a Bitwarden update will fix the problem. Anyway, I know what the problem is now.

I was having trouble getting into my Ancestry account. I called their support and they said it was my browse not connecting with them. I can access if I use Edge, but I don't like that format and would much more prefer Firefox. Is there a problem, or were they just brushing me off? How can I get into Ancestry using Firefox again? Can you please advise.

I used to have no problem opening messages.google.com/web/conversations to link my messages to my Pixel phone. Just recently the site will not open in Firefox. Not an error message, it just won't open the page.

I have been going to the same website using Firefox for a year or two and now when I go there the home page for the site shows up for a few seconds then disappears leaving a white screen. Once when I was backspacing there was a notice saying it had been deleted from it's cache and to reload which I did but nothing happened. I have also been using CCleaner and I have been cleaning the MFT free space for Drive C I've been doing that for a month or so and I'm wondering if that caused the problem? I wouldn't think so if it was the problem it should have happened the first time I used it and it should happen on my other browsers and it hasn't. It's only 2 web sites that I know of that have this problem there may be others but I haven't found them yet. How do I get FF to reload the site in it's cache and keep it there if this is a problem with FF? If this is a problem with CCleaner and the free space scan I'd like to know that. As the title says. I can't log into Discord on Firefox. I am using a Macbook Pro version 14.1.1. My correct email and password are no longer recognized on the website. The error message I get is that my email doesn't exist, so I can't even reset a password.

I have no problem logging in on Chrome or on my Android phone. I have deleted cookies and rebooted, but the same issue arises. It was fine last night. Now it's a mess. I do have a second Discord account and tried logging in through that. On Firefox that account isn't recognized either. Help please.

For the past couple of months I have been getting the message www.bbc.com. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR

Error code: PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR when loading pages on www.bbc.com website. I have done a search on the internet and it seems this is a common problem with Firefox and does not affect othere browesers. I have done what was advice given online but it does not solve the problem. It is getting so bad I may have to start using one of the other browsers even though I prefare Firefox.

My Firefox browser is up to date but I cannot log on to my Bank website. As soon I enter my Logon info I get logged out, however I can access the site using MS EDGE. This is a recurring problem. The website recognizes Firefox as an valid browser. Occasionally I have been able fix problem by clearing the browser Cookies/History but at present none of that works. Do you have any suggestions? My preferred browser is Firefox so this problem is frustrating.

I created a website with a pretty simple css in the body of the page. I have a background image, but its colors are too dominant, so I also added a background color property to make the background more "pale". This approach worked perfectly in Chrome and I am 99% sure that I also tested this back then in Firefox and it worked as expected.

Now, only a white background is displayed in Firefox (Chrome works perfectly), which is interesting, because nor the image nor the set colour is white (well... the colour is white, but it is semi transparent). Did I miss something or is this an accidentally added bug in Firefox?

Firefox freezes - energy efficiency? Version 124.0.1 (64-bit) Windows 11, version 23H2

Firefox has been freezing up completely, all windows and does not unfreeze if I wait, if I click "wait for Firefox to respond" it will pop up again immediately, no matter how many times I click it.

I associate this problem with the new "efficiency mode" that shows two green leaves by some of my firefox processes. The pop-up by the icon says it's to "limit resources used by the process" which suggests the cause is limiting access to necessary resources.

I have found no way to disable this unwanted "feature" - although I am all for eliminating carbon emissions, I need the browser to work.

When this happens immediately after restarting Firefox, the "restore previous session" is gone, so I lose a ton of open work.

If I try ending processes one by one, focusing on the green leaves (not all have the green leaves icon), I invariably close the last window while many other processes are present, losing ability to restore history.

I have written Windows help with no response. (This seems suspicious, as a way to disable competitors.)

I do not see this happen in Chrome.

PLEASE: 1) Provide a way to restore history from previous session (e.g., all windows in last week? or recent instance?) 2) Solve this problem - is it the "energy mode" setting?

1. When I am video chatting on FB Messenger, I can see myself, and hear the other person, but I can't see them. I use Firefox as my default, and don't like using edge, but this is not an issue on edge, so I've resorted to using edge for this function until I can resolve.

2. I have 3 gmail accounts. One is my primary, 2nd is used for subscriptions and memberships, 3rd is one of my businesses. For some reason when I navigate to my business one from my primary, AND I just checked....going directly to my business one, it won't open. The others work fine.

Please advise what I need to do.
