If my Firefox is synced between my Mac and my Android, should I be able to see open tabs on my Mac on my phone too? Currently I do not. At least not all the open tabs. And I do have that checked in "what to sync".

On my Mac I have 8 tabs 'pinned' and 11 open. On my phone when I look at the synced tabs only the 8 pinned tabs show up.

How can I see all of them?

I have old 15 year old mac el capitan -10.11.r with outdated firefox 78.15.0esr 64-bit.... in perfect condition. Unfortunately I can not make updates on browser anymore. Online banking websites does not allow me to use this outdated browser. Would you be so kind to make even paid update for me? Or at least let me know what settings I should change under about:config

I recently updated my wife's computer to an Apple Mac Mini M4 running iOS 15.4. Everything seemed to be working fine including Firefox until yesterday when Firefox update box popped up. She did as she normally has for years of using Firefox and clicked the restart for update button . FF restarted and popped up with 2 dialog boxes one asking to check network for there devices which she click "Don't Allow", she only uses that computer no smart phone etc. Then a second dialog box asking for an admin login and password to install something else I put in my admin login and password clicked continue it doesn't seem to do anything except lock up Firefox to the point I have had to re-install her user from a time machine backup 2 times in 2 days. I tried installing a new copy of Firefox that will launch the issue is she's used Firefox for probably 10 yrs so there are ten years of bookmarks and logins and passwords saved in the original copy of Firefox that will no longer boot unless I do a complete user re-install from a time machine backup.

Please help, how can I fix this problem?

I believe I am still using the first , I don't know. I am up to date. Does that mean I am running 2? I don't think, as I have 2 FF. symbols in dock(identical and conflicting I think). I tried to delete first version unsuccessfully and when I restart comp. from start I have to be prompted to set up again. My NordVpn account was doing the same tying with their Protection pro* (removed it- Ok now) . I have had FF #2 on comp. for a long time and I think I'm now just waiting to sign in now as I don't have FF PW-not problem. Making sure if I sign in to FF2 I won't loose my saved FF info... What should I do ? The SH. attached shows both FF's in desktop and Dock.Need guidance - Thanks a lot. Jon D.

Yesterday evening I accidentally clicked on a setting that asked me to stop or deny something and I don't remember what it was. Today my bookmarks and history prior to yesterday evening is gone. Is there a way in the system to go back to yesterday evening and undo whatever I clicked and restore the missing history and bookmarks? I work on MacOS and am using the current version of Firefox 137.0.2 (64-bit)

Hi, as the title says, they stopped displaying after I installed the latest update for firefox for my computer (macbook air with the apple M1 chip). I have checked that in the settings I have "Show an image preview when you hover on a tab" enabled and that in my config I have both browser.tabs.hoverPreview.enabled and browser.tabs.hoverPreview.showThumbnails set to true. What could the issue possibly be now?

Recently noticed how browser changes the language on restart from English (default language ) to Russian. The affected websites swapped interfaces to Russian language.

Is it part of some kind of A/B testing, locally distributed malware / spyware or just simply embedded ML ops?

Power consumption of Firefox is so high that it nearly killed the display of my iMac. My screen started flickering with horizontal lines across the display. When i touched the screen, it was so hot that I could boil water using it. I did not realize that it was Firefox that was killing my PC until I looked at the power consumption (see the attached screenshot). I hope there is a solution to this since I really love Firefox and have been using it for well over a decade.

Since the last update of Firefox, I now have to right-click and select "alway Show" the Bookmarks Toolbar. Then it disappears when I go to a site!!! Please tell me this is a glitch and you'll fix it soon because the toolbar always shiowes uder the search bar and this right-click-select is really anoying. I have no problems with my Firefox instances on Android and Linus but on MacOS, it's a nightmare! I suspect it's a synchronisation matter because, on OS, it constantly, constantly is askin for me to log-in but neither my OS pssword nor Firefox (master password) are accepted. I'm loathe to reset my password because I really do not think it will make any difference.

I have found that Firefox 119 won't work on St. Jude & USAA insurance sites. Had to use Safari on my I mac running 10.15.7 sites will load, but some features won't allow me to enter data into the page

See screenshot. Not exactly a tab, however the last web page viewed when the prior session of Firefox was closed, auto loads next to the first tab upon starting Firefox again. This is the white checkmark on maroon circle in the upper left of the image. I went directly to settings using my opening tab. Have been through all settings multiple times turning things on and off and cannot figure out how to get rid of this feature of loading the last page used as a clickable icon (icon from page, such as the Home Depot icon would appear there instead of the Intuit checkmark if I had last been on the Home Depot site). How do I get rid of this auto-load?

All of a sudden I am not able to download files on my MacbookPro in Firefox. I am using Version 126 on Mac OS 12.7.5 Monterey.

Downloads are working if I use Safari, but I do not use it. I just used it for testing purposes. Is anybody else having this problem? I've already "refreshed" Firefox per their suggestion.
