I am trying to switch from DuckDuckGo to Firefox browsers.

Firefox is not remembering and auto-filling passwords.

I appear to have all the proper checkboxes checked in Settings.

I exported 1260 passwords from DuckDuckGo. Upon importing the resulting .CSV file (which contains hundreds of passwords), Firefox reports ZERO imports!

I can edit the .CSV file as necessary, but Settings help does not document the required schema.

So how can I import my passwords from DuckDuckGo, which appears to be a Firefox fork?

Based on my settings, is there some reason Firefox is not remembering passwords I've entered? I've been using it for a couple weeks, and have manually entered MANY passwords, but it shows only one, from way before I started using it! If I try to delete passwords, it asks if I want to delete "167 passwords", but when I ask to see them, it shows only that old one.

I did use Firefox years ago; is there some preference file I should delete to make password-filling work again?

I'm fairly computer savvy, but this is becoming frustrating!

I installed firefox on my new windows 11 dell. I imported my existing bookmarks using json file format. When I bring up firefox I have two vertical columns on the left side of my screen. One is my bookmarks and to the left is this is a real time column that lists the sites I visit. Is there some way to disable this 2nd column? thanks brian

I try to download a page, which has always worked. Now today its only partly being downloaded. All information on the page is not downloading. I have used the same link and downloaded on Chrome and it works just fine. I cant understand what i need to do to make it work as always?

I have option turn on to open new tab for a new webpage. I want it to only open new tab for a new website, but not with ever webpage I look at at the same website. Can you help?

Just upgraded one computer to Firefox v143.0.1 and now familysearch.org is very slow and will not load hints. v142.0.1 is still on my other computer and familysearch.org works normally. Within familysearch, I can click on a hint and a pane opens on the right. It normally populates within a second or two at most. With v143.0.1, it takes a minute to partially populate, then it goes no further. With v142.0.1 it works normally. I've disabled add-ons. Cleared cache. Deleted TEMP files. Restarted browser. Restarted computer. Nothing has worked. Previous upgrades over the years have not had this issue. Other browsers (Chrome, Vivaldi, Brave, Edge, SeaMonkey) do not have this issue. Hello! Very new to Linux but got a new laptop and installed Ubuntu on it. I've run into some issues logging into sites (specifically iCloud) and somewhere I saw someone say they fixed it by installing Firefox via the .deb package rather than through snap, as it's installed by default. Following the installation instructions here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/install-firefox-linux#w_install-firefox-deb-package-for-debian-based-distributions-recommended I've run into a roadblock with adding Mozilla APT repository to sources.list. Copying the instructions for Trixie and newer, I've run into an issue where it's giving 'permission denied'. As I'm new to Linux, I'm not really sure what next step to take, short of just typing "sudo" everywhere to try to get it to accept it. Please assist! I would be grateful.

I'm using version 143.0.1 (aarch64) on macos 15.6.1 (24G90). Ever since I updated to 143, many web sites no longer work.

For example, I get a completely blank page at https://banking.dkb.de/ - see source below.

At https://outlook.office.com/mail/inbox I get an error page - see below.

Moreover, the inspector is completely blank for _all_ pages.

The abve pages work fine in Safari. I have used FF for ever since the first release, but am considering ditching it now. I can't find anything about this problem googling.

Before Firefox added Tabs, I added the Simple Tab Groups extension. How do I move the contents of my many STG tabs into Firefox tabs? Also, there are different colored boxes on my top bar, with my STG tabs, and hovering yields "Unnamed Group Expanded/Collapsed." are these FF tabs?
