I just reorganized all of my bookmark folders, as well as bookmark locations inside my folders a few days ago. 5 minutes ago I updated my Firefox desktop browser and now my bookmarks are all messed up & my newer folders are missing. Why is this happening & how do I stop it?

I have searched for an answer to my question, but I can't find one. I have checked the settings in about:config to make sure PDF editing is enabled, and made sure pdfjs.enableHighlightEditor is set to true, and pdfjs.annotationEditorMode is set to 0, but the edit options, like adding a signature, drawing, adding images and adding text are all still grayed out. I'm trying to sign a form, and it's annoying to have to print it out to sign it and then scan and upload it again. I even changed the PDF editing permission to "true" in about:config, thinking that might fix it, but it didn't change anything. I don't understand why nothing is working.

I have an Occasional Issue where Youtube Stutters, or lags. A good example is When I Press Pause the video will respond 5 Seconds Later. Or When I grab my mouse it will dissapear when I reach the video box. I do have You tube premium, and I do have U- Blcok origin and Malware bytes. But U- block and Bytes are disbaled on any youtube page, And I pay for Youtube Premium as well.

After doing the last up date of Fox Fire on or about Aug 27, have not been able to load Fox Fire with all of the previous files, start menu bookmarks/history. Tried restarting as suggested but no luck. Benn dealing with this for several days. Unable to get to Outlook to get email, etc,. Is going to be difficult to email me as not able to get into my email. Did several restarts as explained in Fox fire. I might be able to get into email using my phone.

All the help articles do not really explain how to restore Fox Fire to a previous point. At least in all the articles I read.

Is there a way to change to size of the font on the tabs? It's very small. I've tried through settings, changing the letter size but it doesn't change the type on the tabs. Help!

Every time I am using Firefox to login to an app that requires a passkey (which is many now), it says I will be asked to provide my passkey and no window pops up.

The browser freezes and I have force quit it.

Judging from other comments and questions, this appears to be a bug. Please fix it as it renders Firefox unusable.

I'm using Firefox for Mac v142.0.1

First one is I get a "Sorry, the video player failed to load.(Error Code: 104153)" error when clicking links from a search for a video, if that video is available on YouTube it opens and plays just fine, not from other websites though - and it should. Fix?

Second is one I searched here: "Your browser is being managed by your organization." I found a couple of questions asked - one had a number of things to try, all of which I did, I did delete one Registry entry about certificates, but when the browser reopened, message was still there. None of the other options offered worked either. I don't use Norton (ever!), I use Windows Defender in combination with Malwarebytes Pro for malware. I don't think either of those are at issue. Or can't see how.

This is and has always been only a personal use pc. So, are there other ideas about how to get rid of that message? I've seen it elsewhere too, Chrome, but their help said it was just something they couldn't get rid of and to ignore it. It seems I ought be able to do more than that. Not incidentally, maybe, I see the same message in Windows Settings, can't get rid of it there either. Thanks for any ideas anyone might have. :^)

I've migrated to a new Mac and installed Firefox. The optional search features are missing, which I use A LOT, specifically the option to search in currently open tabs (screenshot attached). Where do I find that feature?

Hello, I am facing an issue while playing YouTube videos in Mozilla Firefox. The videos are very choppy and do not play smoothly, even though my internet connection is stable.

Here are my details:

I have already tried basic steps like clearing cache and restarting the browser, but the issue still remains. Could you please guide me on how to fix this?

I was not sure what topic/heading to put my question under, but problem occurred like this:

A student organization within my University sent me and email concerning a petition. This is all very legit. But when clicking on the link to see and sign the petition, I got this:

"Application error: a client-side exception has occurred (see the browser console for more information)".

I wonder if this is an EXACT problem you know very well that has to do precise individual account settings, OR could also be linked my status with the University? (I'm a twice Alumni, but am now "lapsed" from my third degree -didn't take a course in "X" no. of semesters- so blocked from registration... And what else)? Maybe this site "is instructed" not open in browser if I'm not a current paying customer of the University?

I don't get it. Links acquired from safe sites, here doubly safe since coming from a legit University address AND safe to come in my email inbox go though like 99% of the time... First I see of this automatic message. I might have change a Mozilla setting SINCE that makes it worse, but I don't understand the original error. I tried to cut and paste in the address bar but didn't help be get answers (didn't see page this way either). Why is it a "my side" problem, why do they say it's an"exception" error, and what is the browser's "console? One's Mozilla acount's home?THANKS FOR CLEARING THIS UP GUYS : )

After updating to v142.0.1 the Extension icons on the Address Bar and the bookmarks on the Bookmarks Toolbar were not showing. Most of the Extension icons are now showing, as is an empty Bookmarks toolbar.

The bookmarks are till available in the Library => Bookmarks Toolbar but not showing in the toolbar.

A similar issue is raised in the Forum but seems to be for a different version of Firefox, where the menu items referred to are not the same as v142.

Closing and re-opening Firefox only shows the same problem. When a tab is opened and the URL is saved to Bookmarks Toolbar, it appears in the Library but not in the toolbar, which remains empty.

Is it possible to remove the block on bookmarks showing on the Bookmarks Toolbar?

I have a wildcard certificate issued by Sectigo. The certificate was provided as a .p7b. I have converted it into a .cer, a .pfx, a .pem file and attempted to install it in the firefox certificate store in my windows 10 system. I choose 'import' and point to the .pfx file. It appears that it is working as I do not get any errors, but the certificate is nowhere to be found. I have checked all of the certificate choices in the certificate manager. I used mmc to see if the certificate was in the trusted root certification authority. It's not there. I finally installed the certificate successfully in the trusted root certification authority using mmc, hoping that that would allow me to install it successfully in the firefox certificate store, but I get the same results. I have run Firefox as an administrator, same results. I have googled over and over with the same results, i.e. it appears that the certificate is not installed.

How can I get this CA Certificate installed in the firefox certificate store.

Firefox updated on my computer yesterday, and now all my bookmarks are missing. How do I find and restore them? I am not a computer geek, so the explanation needs to be like to a person who has never seen a computer before.
