Is there a way I can disable the "Pop out this video" button on the video player itself but keep the toggle present in the url bar? I have attached the pictures of what I am talking about I don't like the pop out button appearing on the video everytime I try to use my mouse around the video player but like the option of picture in picture seems like a good option for me.

Currently if I try to disable the button from the menu after right-clicking, it also disable the button present in the url bar.

I made a mistake and installed Firefox in the wrong location. I uninstalled and attempted to reinstall where I wanted the software to be.

The installer now tells me that I had Firefox before and will only reinstall it in the previous directory. No other option is offered.

I am LONG used to being deprived of user choice by the likes of Microsoft or Apple, but Mozilla SHOULD KNOW BETTER.

I have a personal ' writing email' template in Yahoo mail which I use for a specific community. It contains relevant information which saves me from having to type it in everytime I email the community. However, of late when using 'Compose' the template appears but when I try typing below the salutation I cannot use the 'Enter' button to move the cursor down the page to create the body text. Consequently my emails are just one line of type with no paragraphing.

Why is this?

For some reason my Firefox on my Mac and Windows computer won't sync even though I am using the same account. I would like my Mac to look the same as my Windows computer. I have tried logging in and logging out on both, all the basic fixes but nothing has helped.

YouTube won't start playing in Firefox. No add-ons enabled. The page is fully loaded, but clicking on Play makes nothing.

The fix is to disable "User recommended performance settings" and then disable "User hardware acceleration when available".

The problem is that hardware acceleration is enabled by default. In Edge or Chrome hardware acceleration is also enabled but it won't break YouTube.

I am using Firefox 119.0.1 under Windows 10 Home Version 22H2 OS build 19045.3693

I had the page open in Firefox before the owner corrected the typo.

Immediately after the correction was online, all other browsers displayed the corrected version. But even now, hours later, after many resets by "Reload Tab", the Firefox tab still displays the typo-version.

I consider this to be a malfunction. "Reload tab" should bypass all caches, and reload the whole page directly from its server. - Is this a known bug? - If "Reload Tab" does not go to the source bypassing all caches, what doe it do? - Is there a workaround?

I am using Tor nowadays because I get a trojan horse or other possible threats, every time using Firefox. I use ClamTk on my HP computer with Linux Mint 21.1 installed.

I found out when my website turned out to be hacked, so I installed the ClamTk virus scanner.

Over the last five hours, I have gotten 27 emails from Firefox Monitor for this data breach, for the same email address. I have already marked the breach as resolved in Monitor but I keep getting emails. Is there anything I can do about it?

i keep typing my issue that i want help with and you keep bringing me back to this page but offer no resolution to my issue. i simply want to know how to RESOLVE the data breaches thta firefox found . when i click on the link RESOLVE DATA BREACHES and it asks me for the email concerned and then says i need to log in to my firefox account. it simply repeats that it found 4 data breaches in one of my emails. but does not give directions of HOW to remove./resolve these breaches. so i am still left with the four data breaches. CAN SOMEONE TELL ME HOW I SHOULD RESOLVE THE DATA BREACH ISSUE.

I have cleared the cache, cookies and history. I can use Google Chrome just fine, but do not want to. They only way that I can get to any website is via Troubleshooting Mode. This is getting quite frustrating. I see that others are having the same problem. I use the Standard for browsing. This has been going on for a couple weeks. At first, I tried to get it to work by changing to No Proxy, it was working. Then it did not. I have read through what others are going through and they seem to have the same problem. There has to be some way to fix this. I even ran a complete virus scan that takes up to 10 minutes, and it did not find an issue, so I think this is a major bug on the Moz://a side. Hi, i have problem with uninstalling uBlock Origin i cant remove them from extension tab. I tried refreshing firefox, reinstalling, opening firefox with troubleshoot mode and still nothing i dont know why is so difficult.Even when i reinstalling firefox this addon onstalling by itself even when im not logged in.Please help me. I looked for a way to remove apple maps from being the default Map when I search using Firefox on windows 10. Its not helpful since half of the info isnt listed and I would like google maps instead like it had always been.

I use private browsing mode exclusively. For years I've used Tools > Settings > Privacy & Security > Clear Data > Clear > Clear Now to clear the history, cache, cookies and so on during a session without having to close the browser, or so I thought. However, yesterday I ran into a situation (dealing with tech support for software) where it became painfully obvious that that process was NOT clearing out the history. So, a couple of questions:

1. Why, why, does it take 6 clicks to do that, instead of, say, just one click on a button on the toolbar?

2. Why didn't that clear out everything?

3. Where can I look to see whether all that stuff is cleared?

everytime you update firefox, i loose my personal toolbar that took me a long time to set up. how do i get it back without all the work? also, what happened to the printer icon in the main toolbar?
