My firefox browser for windows 10 disappeared overnight, I downloaded & reinstalled but my shortcuts & add ons are gone, even though I am logged into my Firefox account?

Since the last update, but not the latest, all text is colored. Whereas, it was all white before. I've tried to remove the Dark Reader and Dark Night Mode add-on, but to no avail. Any suggestions?

Mac has keyboard text replacements where a text input entry can automatically output a word or phrase.

i.e. When I type "ty", it will automatically output "thank you".

I am aware of previous queries and solutions in the form of extensions or add-ons. However, this is not reasonable if there are dozens of these text replacements already inputted in to Mac OS.

It is worth noting that this is not an issue in Google Chrome...

Your updates never seem to install when authorized to do so by the user. Rather, numerous times after reopening your browser, they finally decide to update, while blocking all online content at the same time. You need to improve your update service so that it occurs both as requested and immediately when authorized, without causing problems for the user in navigating the web.

Since the latest version of FF was installed. I can rarely make attachments to emails or upload to websites. I'm having to use another browser for this purpose. I never had this issue until this version. Nothing else on my PC has changed.

I was so in hopes that the latest update (10-19-22) would fix the issue with facebook...but no, after a minute of scrolling on facebook, the screen starts jumping and scolling around without my input. Facebook works fine with Chrome, but I would prefer FF. I know there are a lot of people experiencing same and was hopeful this update would be the fix. Windows 10, most recent update on facebook and now most recent FF update, too.

I am using windows 10 64. Youtube videos don't play on the latest version of firefox, but do with microsoft edge. The spinning loading circle icon appears but video playback just doesn't work on any video at all, not even youtube shorts. This seems to be a problem only with firefox version 106.0.1 and 106.0.2 on my system. I downgraded to firefox version 105.0.3 and had no issue with youtube playback.

Imported bookmarks html from Firefox (win 10) to Firefox (win 11) not showing on bookmarks only on Manage Bookmarks.

I only see a few dozen random bookmarks when I go to the three slash "Open Application Menu" and none of the Folders. If I go into Manage Bookmarks I can see the folders and other missing bookmarks.

I just opened a pop up that you sent - asking to choose a color. I had no idea it would change the look of Firefox. Please could you instruct me how to change it back to how it was. This brown is not OK.

I am not a sophisticated computer user and I have some cognitive problems due to age and illness so please be as simplistic as possible with any response. I was trying out new features and now have the private browsing icon on the bottom bar on my screen. The color purple triggers strong anxiety for me so I just want to get that off my screen. I won't be using private browsing so I want to remove it. I tried to drag it to the recycle bin but couldn't get rid of it that way. Please help me remove that icon from ever being on my screen. How do I allow Filter (an app) to block websites in Firefox (which is what it is supposed to do)? It works on Chrome just fine. How do I give it permission? Or should I leave Firefox forever so I can take control of my life?

I've been trying to search on Bing to get their search points, but they are not registering on Firefox. Other browsers do not seem to have this problem. This is happening very recently. I've started Firefox on safe mode, refreshed it, still not working. I've disabled add-ons as well but nothing. It only refreshes to add something at the end of the URL, not sure if that helps.

Firefox has auto-updated with lastest version and all new menu items and ALL my hundreds of BOOKMARKS have disappeared. Also, a new new product called Firefox Private browsing has been installed without my knowledge.

My bookmarks I use for work and life, and will very hard to re-create.

The browsers I have used before have always stored the bookmarks in a safe place?

I have turned off Auto-update as it obviously doesn't work or has serious bugs.

i HAVE BEEN SAVING ARTICLES BY WAY OF BOOKMARK AND HAVE SAVED ARTICLES ON POCKET I AM WORRIED THAT I AM DOING SOMETHING WRONG, AM I , WHAT IS THE CORRECT PROCEDURE? SHOULD I CONVERT BOOKMARKED ARTICLES TO POCKET? I AM NOT COMPUTER SAVVY.

I keep getting a rectangle popping up asking for my PRIMARY PASSWORD--Mozilla Firefox Please Enter Primary Password Sign In Cancel

I've tried every password I know & none work. So I changed my Firefox password (primary?? I don't know)

The rectangle continues to pop-up. To get rid of it I hit Cancel a couple of times.

I can access my Firefox Account But this rectangle is totally annoying.

What can I do? I need help. HELP!
