I am using Kubuntu 25.04. I tried support but the support in Firefox doesn't seem to have much help for OSes beyond Windows even though they make a native Linux version. I subscribe to several extensions and use Firefox sync to get the extensions onto a new computer but they don't automatically pin to the menu bar. I figured out how to do that once but I forgot how I did that and can't find it in help. Can someone please tell me how to do that. Mozilla, if you are reading this you might want to improve the support in your Linux version.

Hi, I am looking at an add-on for Firefox on addons.mozilla.org. It says "This add-on is not actively monitored for security by Mozilla. Make sure you trust it before installing." Under "More Information", it links to a Github page with source code. When "not actively monitored", does Mozilla at least check that the Github page linked to is what is being installed? The add-on is very simple and so I feel confident trusting the code on the Github page, but in clicking "Add to Firefox", I want to make sure that that is indeed the code I am adding.

I can see and manipulate my extensions in the little puzzle piece in my toolbar but when I go into settings all my extensions are gone, replaced by an extension I did not authorize. I was having difficulty with a pop-up on a news site that wanted me to turn off my add blocker or buy a subscription. When I go into the add browser and turn it off the website does not recognize that I have do this and keeps me from getting behind their pay wall. So I thought I would go into the settings and temporarily turn off the extension from there and that is when I discovered the lack of extensions in my settings.

The add on is AdBlocker Ultimate and the website is RawStory.com

I have Bing as my homepage, but on one computer I have a very annoying problem. I click on the settings to turn off 'Show news and interests' and 'Show trending on Bing', but the next time I come back to the homepage these settings have turned themselves back on. What do I have to do to retain these settings?

Dear Firefox, My mouse is not doing the usual function. The right click is giving me different options like translate the word I highlighted or search the meaning. I just need the right click to copy. How did it even changed without my knowledge. Thank you, Alice

I would like to add perplexity.ai permanently to the chatbot sidebar. How can I do this? I know how to manually enforce it as the current chatbot over about:config, but not how to add a dropdown item for it.

Windows 10 and cannot upgrade to 11. Firefox is current.

Pages began to open slowly so restarted computer, which fixed that issue but the bookmarks (happens often), Bitwarden & Instapaper icons were missing from the toolbar. I managed to retrieve the bookmarks but while attempting to restore the icons, the puzzle icon disappeared, which, after many hours I did manage to retrieve.

The boxes that open after right-clicking on the gear or puzzle icons do not match what the multiple online help suggestions show (I cannot take a screenshot of what I see in my drop down menus). I have deleted and reinstalled Instapaper and Bitwarden to no avail. Multiple suggestions from Bitwarden emails did not work and they suggested that it may be a Firefox issue.

Also, videos will not load but will load on Microsoft Edge.

Hi, I need help with installing & testing an add-on. I've co-written the add-on with ChatGpt. When trying to install I get the message "can't install because the add-on appears to be corrupt". I've tried installing with anti-virus & firewall off, added an add-on ID & re-installing FireFox. What should I do? Any help much appreciated ! Regards, /S

i cannot install lastpass extension anymore, unless i update to latest firefox version.

this will force me to switch browsers to Chrome or Opera.

I don't like being forced to install the latest firefox.

I intend to stay with older versions that work better.

fix this crap please !
