Hello support, I don't want to be an hassle to you neither pose useless questions but this is my last resource before leave my problem unsolved, so i really hope you can help on this. As per subject I am trying to install add on GMX mailchecker 6.5.5 to Firefox release 95.0.1 (which i like most and don't like to change) but any time I try i get the error "the add on appears to be corrupted" - this happens also when I try to install themes (but it is not a big problem to me i like also your standard design) and any thing else. Now I switched to a gmx mail account also because i saw the option to have an add on for firefox (saying to be compatible with version from 46 onward) but I cannot solve how to install it correctly. When loaded as a temporary add on in debug mode it works really well but then on standard mode i cannot get to have it working. So far i have tried to -reinstall Firefox -install add on from a file -disable mandatory signature in advenced configuration -disable malware scanning while installing the addon BUT none of them worked in my situation. I believe there is an easy way of having it working and seeing it from the debug mode it seems also well integrated SO where am I wrong? Could you please advice me on how to solve this problem I am facing? (as a feedback for you: if you wonder why I want to stay with FFox 95 it is because I don't need ai features and dislike emoji ... otherwise your browser is excellent -still have a firefox 1 executable in my hard drive... still open it sometimes... ) Best regards, Filippo

All my addd ons (Ad Blocker, DuckDuckgo privacy essentials, Sound fixer, To google translate) are all turned on but they are all disabled. Maybe since this last update?

All of my links end up at the same site no matter where they should go I found an extension I think was causing the problem but it is grayed out so I can't delete it

I downloaded capital one shopping add-on. But I never established a user name or password anywhere. If I need to do this before using it, please tell me exactly where and how to do this! (All of this stuff confuses me.)

After defaulting Firefox, the previously used add-ons Easy-YouTube downloader, Easy YouTube Video Downloader Pro as well as YouTube Online Video Downloader do not appear on Youtube anymore, like they did before. This never happened before. It was always possible to add and use them again. What to do? Thank you for your help.. I should maybe add that I use a Laptop with Windows Seven. Laugh if you like, I want nothing else, why would I ? I know how to use this thing and it took me long enough, the newer Microsoft Programmes I came across are so terrible, I wonder how any-one can stand them. Thanks again for your time.

The solution given there was to change extensions.screenshots.disabled in about:config.

Unfortunately, my Mozilla Firefox (ver. 144.0 (64-bit)) doesn't have extensions.screenshots.disabled. So what now?

A while ago I set up an extension from savefrom.net - a video download service. Unfortunately, somewhere in the fine print the extension sets up a "managed by your organisation" policy where their link is alays displayed in the bookmarks. I wonder if there is any way to remove it? Thank you.

My organization has an air-gapped development network in which we need to deploy an internally developed extension. We are attempting to do this via GPO with the latest version of Firefox ESR. We have been running into an issue where the extension is not being installed when the browser starts. After reviewing the distribution documentation for Firefox add-ons it appears that we have to submit the extension to be signed by Mozilla, the problem here is that our extension is on the air-gapped network and cannot be moved to an internet connected device per our clients policies.

I had read on this page page that Firefox ESR does allow unsigned extensions if you set `xpinstall.signatures.required` to `false` but that conflicts with the Add-on signing in Firefox support page that states: "Firefox Extended Support Release (ESR): Some versions allowed overrides, but most recent ESR releases also enforce signing."

So we appear to be at an impasse, we cannot have the extension signed and we are required to use the ESR version of Firefox (the Nightly and Developer versions are not allowed.) Is there anyway that we could selfsign the extension? Or bypass the requirement via GPO?

some of my icons on the location bar do not appear, or only appear when I have the window maximized. How can I reorder thewse icons so the ones I want to see most often are on the left? this refers specifically to the add-on icons, but I would think all the icons are controlled the same way (that is, if one can control them).

Multiple extensions are added and enabled yet only 3 of them are displayed on the menu that is displayed when clicked on the extension icon on the tool bar.

Finding conflicting answers when Google searching (not counting irrelevant results), so I thought I'd try asking here. Is there any safe or reliable extension or setting tweak available for Firefox that would automatically make it so YouTube Shorts play with the regular YouTube video player (ie. Replace "/shorts/" in url with "/watch?v=")?

Trying to get to saved themes in Firefox Color doesn't work on some machines depending on the screen size / display. The tab next to "Custom Backgrounds" is overlaid by the huge display of the application menu. One one of my computers you can see it just below the enlarged icon, but on my laptop you can't get to it at all.

I can see it on my desktop PC - barely. On my laptop the icon overlays it completely and I can't get to saved themes. I have tried playing with zoom, but that didn't help. The default / recommended scale in Windows for two different laptops I have is 150% with resolution 1290 x 1200. If you change that to 100%, THEN you can see the saved themes, but I doubt most people would figure that out. Even at 125% I can't see it. I am attaching an example from my laptop where I changed the SCALE set to 125% (again, 150% is recommended by Windows).
