I just bought new PC and switched to win11(never happened on win10). Videos stutter when on 2nd monitor and game is open on first, but audio doesn't. Problem goes away immediately when clicking to the firefox window. Happens on both youtube and twitch, but not on Nebula.tv and not on chrome. Doesn't happen if the video is 480p, but does on 720 and 1080 and both of them are 60fps which might be something. Also doesn't happen if the game is windowed, but does on fullscreen and borderless.

I've disabled hardware acceleration (in windows and browser). I've tried setting both monitors to 60hz, setting firefox priority to high (and game to low), disabling effiency mode, setting power mode to performance and tried a lot of other things including about:config settings. Also ruled out extensions.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9700X GPU: RTX5070 1st monitor: 180hz 2nd: 80hz

Firstly, because, It is annoying to manually have set browser.tabs.groups.smart.enabled and browser.tabs.groups.enabled to false every time when installing firefox.

Secondly, because this is not sufficient to restore the normal correct beaviour. Tabs cannot be detached despite browser.tabs.allowTabDetach being true.

FF 141.0 on FreeBSD, only extension is NoScript.

What needs to be done still so that tabs can be detached?

P.S.: Suggested long term solution: Introduce an option "Disable tab groups ENTIRELY, restore behaviour as it was before introduction of tab groups.".

Recently when starting the browser I've seen that Microsoft Defender blocks requests to one of my homepage shortcuts, due to it finding the URL suspicious. My question is as the title suggests: does Firefox ping the URLs or fetch metadata of said domains automatically/in the background to update the icons, website title, etc? It is always suspicious to find Microsoft Defender stating it blocks request to websites I haven't accessed in a while. So I'm trying to deduce if it is a feature and not a ghost in the wires...

1) If I don't see an Https://"'at the beginning of your Mozilla url in the top of my address line I don't proceed further.

2) My cell phone isn't working presently so when you offer an option to confirm who I am by sending a number code to my cell phone number I'm unable to use that option it to confirm who I am. How 'bout coming up with an additional alternative or two for confirming?

when I click in Instagram in the notifications on a comment, I get redirected to to the comment section, but not to that certain comment, so I would have to scroll a lot.

Firefox installed a new version and my stuff has disappeared. I don't recognize the window at all. I have tried the "restore sessions" but I'm told it can't happen. I need my stuff back.

I continue to have issues with web site appearance. Whether I select "automatic" or off for "contrast control" previously visited links are turned purple. If I try "custom"’ for ‘Firefox’ nothing else seems to stay like I need it to be. I do not have this issue when I use Chrome.

I am receiving a not responding message when I try to use Firefox on my Dell Inspiron 3880 with Windows 11

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but get the same message.

I have autofill turned on, and it works (almost). The address fields are completed, but left in yellow highlight, and when I try to submit the form, it isn't accepted. I have to manually enter and then delete a character for they yellow highlight to clear - and then the form submission works. It's happening with more sites now.

Is there a solution?

In Settings>General>Language, why is there an option to "Use your operating system settings for “English (Zimbabwe)” to format dates, times, numbers, and measurements." . I can't find any documentation for this. Is there an interesting 'Zimbabwe' format or feature? If so, what is it?

I don't know where to write this. Hello everyone, Firefox has an auto-fill feature for cards. I wanted to enter all my cards. I enter my card, and it comes to the expiration date. The card says 10/37, but in Firefox the maximum is 35. Alfa Bank Russia has started issuing cards that are valid for 12 years, I don't know if it's to save money or not. What should I do, wait 2 years? Or has a similar question already been asked here and will it be fixed soon?

I'm trying to fill out a magazine subscription form that uses reCAPTCHA but the reCAPTCHA does not show in the form using Firefox but does in Chrome. I've seen similar issues and tried to solve it by clearing the catch and disabling extensions but nothing helps.
