I am on arch linux, Wayland KDE Plasma. KDE Plasma Version: 6.6.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.24.0 Qt Version: 6.10.2 Kernel Version: 6.19.9-arch1-1 (64-bit) I then ran firefox (Both Flatpak and Pacman fail ), and no matter what (MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND on or off) when in pointer lock, the high polling rate mouse was significantly slower than the lower polling rate touchpad. Unable to access three sites (so far): MacOS9Lives.com, 68kmla.com and wycokck.com. I keep getting this response: "An error occurred during a connection...". Or in the case of the local city government's website (wycokck.org). I get a message that I am not authorized to access it. All other bookmarks tested here seem to function properly.

Google Fiber customer (GFiber) using the Nest Wifi Pro mesh system which reports a "Great" connection via all (3) access points.

I am currently unable to clear my browsing history, this started about a week ago. I had done it that morning but after lunch I was able to . I note that library is showing history going back to Dec last.

I use Firefox on all of my computers and they all have a plus sign next to an open tab to open a new tab, but on this computer I have to right click on the 5tab bar to open a new tab - how can I get the plus sign to show for easy tab opening?

I keep receiving the following pop-up. How do I get rid of it?

After creating yesterday a new Folder, today is not in the Bookmarks under the Star. Under three bars, Bookmarks, Manage bookmarks it shows there the web pages I put there yesterday. What is going on?

You did a new mozilla today and my bookmarks and bookmark tool bar are gone everywhere. How do I get back to profile yesterday 2/10/2026. It deleted my settings in TOOLs, Settings. Especially in security, how I want my home screen to look. This is horrible. Help.

I posted this in the Android section a couple of days ago, but since I've had no responses I thought I should try it here in the hope it'll catch someone's eye. Hope that's acceptable.

Here's my question:

Can I fine-tune sync the way I want?

I would love to be able to sync bookmarks and passwords between two desktops yet sync just the bookmarks to a third device: an Android phone. Why? Because while I want my bookmarks available everywhere, I don't want sensitive passwords on a device that leaves home.

But I don't see a way to do that. I've tried, and I find the passwords end up being synced no matter how I configure the settings.

Nor, apparently, can I export the bookmarks and passwords to a file, strip out the passwords, and import the bookmarks alone to the phone--what I was hoping could be a workaround. I gather one can't import to mobile Firefox. Have to sync.

So I'm back where I started: unable to do what I want to do.

Whenever I open a new firefox page externally, such as from the system tray or by opening a link from outside firefox, nothing happens for about five seconds and then it loads normally. When I open a new firefox page internally, such as from file ---> new window or by clicking a link within firefox, it loads instantly like normal. This has been happening since yesterday (3/13/26) evening.

I have already tried all of the following fixes and none have done anything:

Clearing firefox startup cache running firefox in troubleshoot mode running an older version of firefox disabling all my extensions disabling my antivirus disabling hardware acceleration disabling captive portal detection making sure both firefox and windows 11 are fully updated refreshing firefox reinstalling firefox rebooting my PC disabling IPv6 preventing accessibility devices from accessing my browser clearing my cookies

4 rows of links working great and sync killed it all. Data is in the prefs.js file but firefox wont read it how can I fix this? Hours I have been chasing around with ai checking all the settings etc. wth? HOW HARD DOES THIS HAVE TO BE? please help before I uninstall and never come back. Wasted way too much time!

Due to a drive failure I had to do a fresh Windows install. Since then my Firefox has not been loading tab favicons for the tabs from my previous session when I launch it. They do not display until I click on each individual tab. I have tried poking around in about:config and turned off several lazy loading functions but nothing has fixed it. browser.sessionstore.restore_tabs_lazily and browser.sessionstore.restore_on_demand are both false with no effect on this behavior.

Any ideas for how to fix this?
