Firefox doesn't display blur effect in websites. In the below images Image 1 : apple.com ( Firefox ) Image 2 : apple.com ( Chrome ) Image 3: twitter.com ( Firefox ) Image 4 : twitter.com ( Chrome) It also happens in telegram where right click menu shows blur effect

Hi there I love FireFox, after years of others recommending, I finally switched and really appreciate so many great features (automatic downloads not at all though). Anyways, I have a Tivo with in house and out of house streaming to Watch Tivo web app and Tivo android app. Until recently, was able to stream anything from Tivo Box throughout house. Android app works awesome, but no longer working on FireFox (or Edge & Chrome) Research shows this is due to a change in website security which is maybe similar to FF issue?

Chrome offered advance warning/remedy..as detailed below....

I am hoping FF team can rise to the challenge and get tivo online working again for the millions of us who still use and love our Tivos.  Or maybe another Tivo fan has a workaround they can share? I sure hope so, I have wasted hours already troubleshooting and hair pulling :(     Any and all assistance appreciated

Access to XMLHttpRequest at 'http://(MYIP):49152/sysinfo/json/svcinfo' from origin 'http://online.tivo.com' has been blocked by CORS policy: The request client is not a secure context and the resource is in more-private address space `private`.

After researching that i found this link Chrome CORS error on request to localhost dev server from remote site

it went into a bit about how "Chrome has implemented CORS-RFC1918, which prevents public network resources from requesting private-network resources - unless the public-network resource is secure (HTTPS) and the private-network resource provides appropriate (yet-undefined) CORS headers."

So basically a public network "online.tivo.com" cannot access my local network (where my tivo is) due to this new CORS-RFC1918 standard.

The is a fix to disable this behavior for now chrome://flags/#block-insecure-private-network-requests

Hi all,

I'm running 113.0.2 (64-Bit) on Ubuntu Focal.

I just wanted to log into my bahn.de account, got prompted with a hcaptcha which I correctly answered and then got an "503 Service Unavailable" error. The problem is reproducible each time I try. It was working fine when I last tried about 2 weeks ago. I tried disabling addons and tracking protection, deleted cache + cookies + login data as well as cookie files, reset Firefox - no change. Fun fact: The login is working without issues and interestingly even without captcha showing up in Opera and Epiphany (Gnome web browser).

Any suggestions for debugging would be very much welcome. Any hint on why the hcaptcha shows up in Firefox and not in Opera and Epiphany is much appreciated, too.

my mozilla vpn isn't working. Been using it fine for a year or so. Got a new debit card. I think that was the start of the problem. Said it couldn't find my account, however I can log onto firefox fine in the web browser. the vpn app redirects me to a web page to pick out my plan, i click on a plan and i get the error "problem loading invoice preview". Been like that for a few days. so I am unable to add my payment information. the web page showing the error's address starts as "https://subscriptions.firefox.com/products/prod_FvnsFHIfezy3ZI?device_id" I have tried loading it in both the firefox browser and the brave browser. I believe i am windows 10.

Indigo Slate has created an interactive site for our client but on Firefox browsers on both Windows and Mac the interactive I i frames are non-responsive and often blurred out: https://exploresurface.com/#/en-us/touchscreen-display is one example of many on the site we have created. This issue does not occur with Chrome, Opera, or Microsoft Edge.

How is this possible? Impossible to enter this forum with Firefox. I was obliged to change to Safari, to ask my worries about `Mozilla Firefox`. On the Page to enter the support forums: `Log in / Sign up with Firefox Accounts` I click on `Continue with Firefox Accounts` and wait and wait - nothing happens!

And now to my problem:

entering the webpage www.anti-spiegel.ru the images does not show up anymore. What I tried so far:

+ check javascript-support (enabled) + I emptied the Caches and Cookies + check security settings + reinstall of Firefox + renaming the folder `~/Library/Application Support/Firefox` to `out_Firefox` Result: images are rendered + renaming the folder `~/Library/Application Support/out_Firefox` to `Firefox` Result: images are not rendered

My Question is: are images censored on Russian Webpages?

Lately I've found on a number of occasions that I've pasted the URL of an image into the Firefox address bar, but instead of the image loading, it's somehow led to a page opening - even though the URL STILL shows that it's an image and not a page?

Here's an example: https://64.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m0p5jy7Lhh1qzfdsjo9_250.gif If I paste this GIF URL into the address bar, it often loads a page which says "tumblr" in the corner. But sometimes it just loads the image!?

Any idea what's going on here?

I am unable to log onto easy jet in firefox, the site freezes. when i use opera i have had no problems. this has occurred since your last update. Can you help? Alan

When I log in to survey websites (e-rewards or one opinion), they get the neverending clock so I can't choose & take a survey. I get into the website & can do everything except for taking the survey. Works fine in Edge.

My banking website works fine except for 2 tabs which eventually comes back with page not found due to a technical problem. I think started happening with the last update to Firefox. I have no problems using MS Edge. I have contact my Bank's help line and only suggested clearing data cache and cookies, but it made no difference.

I am currently using Firefox 91.12.0esr (64bit) [tried to copy and paste the version, but "About Mozilla Firefox" prohibits copy, so I had to split the screen to make sure I typed it in correctly]

Many websites that have been successfully used for decades with Firefox in Linux are no longer supporting Firefox. Their updates seem to vary in effect. Most I use will not allow Firefox to enter the password. Some websites detect your browser and display the message that Firefox is not supported and some functions will not work. Other posts describe the functions that do not work for them. This is seemingly not unique as I was playing Wizard101 for four years with Wine under Linux and now I am unable to log into their game. I can log into their website, so my account is still active, but I do not have Windows or Mac operating systems to use even if I could figure out how to use a virtual machine.

The only solution I have is to use the Web 3.38.2 browser / WebKitGTK 2.36.4, but most other browsers should function properly.

Although I have been using Firefox as my favorite browser for more than two decades, it seems that Firefox is no longer supported. Even the https://www.247freepoker.com/ game freezes after a few rounds.

There was a post that claimed a fix, but did not explain how to turn it on. I already checked my firewall settings and internet connectivity settings even though it did not seem to be the cause of the problem.

Every time I open a link in firefox that is a youtube short, it opens up an entirely different short than I selected unless I am using a "full video" version of the link. I have tested this and it works fine if I copy-paste it into chrome.

I do mechanical work and frequent numerous part source sites. In the past month, 2 common national sites (AutoZone and Advance Auto Parts) will open to their normal opening site with numerous options to click on such as what part do you need...what specials are, etc. That opening site is "frozen" and will not accept searches or ANY navigation on site. You cannot even close (X) the site...and I must shut down the desktop to escape. I called both national sites and they had no clue what I was talking about. I tried a different search engine (Google not Duck Go) but still after initially opening these 2 sites...they remain frozen. I then downloaded Google Chrome...and that fixed the problem. Both AutoZone and Advance Auto Parts now open... and function normally. Back on FireFox I tried opening the NAPA Auto Parts (who I rarely use) and their site opens and functions normally. My question: Why is Autozone and Advance Auto Parts not usable with Firefox for me ? I navigate hundreds of sites and forums a week with Firefox without problem. I have been using Firefox and visiting those 2 parts sites for Years with FireFox... and no problem. I reloaded newest version of Firefox ...and that didn't fix the problem. Any ideas ? Thanks, Ken

Hello, I have been using Firefox on several platforms since FF was launched many years ago -- have always loved it.

NOW IT IS NOT supported on several KEY websites like Macys.com, Costco.com, etc. I am using the LATEST version on Mac OS.

I can use Safari at those sites WITHOUT problems. Thanks -Shad

I moved house in October - previously having been with BT = now I am with SHell - but not a bad service except that I am unable to access the National Lottery site - I have contacted Shell several times - also the National Lottery. Nobody seems able or wants to help me.
