I have now had two websites that are having problems with a fully updated Firefox and they are telling me to update the Browser. Chase and now the IRS site is wanting me to update and I'm running 97.0.1 (64 bit). Win10 that is also fully updated.

HI there. Suddenly, as of maybe a couple of weeks ago, I can't load Yahoo at all in a Firefox tab. I use Yahoo mail. I have to open Chrome for my email. This is a problem and I may have to stop using Firefox due to this. Why is this happening? What can I do? I haven't had a problem with any other website.

Website with a picture, right-click, save picture as, choosing a directory.... ... and then, normally, if there are already 3 other files in the chosen directory, let's say: house_1.jpg , house_2.jpg , house_3.jpg , and I would start with typing "hou" for a filename, then normally FF would make a "suggestion-list" under the "filename:-box", like: house_1.jpg house_2.jpg house_3.jpg

... and I would be able to click on one of them, and change the name into house_4.jpg.

But, alas, there is no more suggention-list since this afternoon. I can only type a name for the file, and that's it.

Can someon please help me restore this "save-as-suggestion-list" ?

Hello I have problem on my fedora workstation. When i click right button on the lowest bookmark on my list, the menu is hiding outside the screen and i can't see options.

Every time I minimise Firefox it crashes. I have refreshed my profile, but the problem still occurs. I use only 2 addons: Bitwarden & ublock Origin.

Hi.

I've been using Firefox for many years now and I always considerded it the absolute best browser. The last six months or so it doesn't work well on Facebook though. Pictures don't load as they should for example. It can work for a short time, but if i stayed on Facebook 15 minutes or so it always be problems. I have no idea what this is all about, but nowadays I have been forced to use Edge when I browse Facebook. Can anyone help me with this?

When I asked you how to block unwanted pop-ups, I got this message: "If you see the address bar with the Tracking Protection button and the Site Identity button (a shield and a padlock) in the pop-up window, the pop-up is coming from Firefox."

          That doesn't help at all.  Firefox is the most annoying of all, as it's the most incessant.  I've tried several times to block update notifica-

tions; If I get any response at all, I get only irrelevant, UN-helpful,responses. Each time I try to find the answer, the con- versation/thread is either locked, or mislabeled as "solved".

           I REALLY don't want to have to give up on firefox completely, so can you PLEASE provide a shortcut or tell me how to solve this problem myself?

On safari: sign in for CCSF works with ID box and PW box. On Firefox: sign in only has ID box and no PW box so I can't sign in. I called IT at the college..they can't figure it out. There must be a formatting issue with FF since it comes up fine on Safari.

The window will flicker and Firefox becomes unresponsive until it just exits and with no Mozilla Crash Reporter window appearance.

• The crash happens upon a new default Firefox 97.0.1 profile on Windows 11.
• It do not occure in Firefox 98.0b9.
• The CSS Snowfall Effect is likely unrelated, visiting its CodePen directly do not trigger the crash: codepen.io/alvarotrigo/pen/YzxJpoE

I need to temporarily disconnect one of my computers from my account while it is in for service. I already took it in and realized everything is open and active on that computer, the technician will have full access to all of my accounts and passwords

For well over a year, after one of the updates, I cannot access my bank account; however, Google Chrome give easy access. I'm using Firefox 97.0.1. Bottom line: after over 10 years of using Firefox to do my banking, I now have to go to another browser to do it. Is there some kind of solution? Why does Google Chrome work and Firefox does not work?

I'm currently facing a sudden very weird problem. How it works is, except through the google-Firefox New Tab, I cannot type anything into the URLs, and I cannot press the back button, or any of the system/setting/app buttons other than the Download, including the "favorite/bookmark this page" button next to where you put URLs (which as noted, is inaccessible.)

It seems to have suddenly happened without any warning today, but it means I cannot use the back button, type in URLs except through the New Tabs, and other very odd restrictions.

For several months now I have had a problem with SOME of my bookmarked pages not loading, because "security certificate" problems, Now NONE of them will load. I was just online 20 minutes ago and the ones that have been working were working. Evidently firefox updated, without permission, and now none of the pages I was at 20 minutes ago will load. This is really starting to piss me off!!!!!!!!!! I have been using firefox since the stone age, as I have felt it to be the best browser out there. Now it looks like I'm gonna havta switch to internet exploder, or chrime, or one of the other crappy browsers out there.
