I want to make Mozilla stop the black pop ups giving me a bunch of information I don't need on my desktop. If I have to go to another browser I will but I like Firefox but I don't like the pop ups.

When I use ZOOM, the Video does not work. I see the gray lock image not my face.

I have Windows 11, and a Lenovo DESKTOP-S7TI8GU. Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 . 64 bit OS. How do I fix this problem? - Christine

Hello, everytime I want to open a website that I frequently use, Firefox fails to suggest it as first and rather suggests the "base" url. Example: I want to open https://www.arabdict.com/en/deutsch-arabisch but typing "ara" in the URL input field always suggests https://www.arabdict.com although the first link is both bookmarked and pinned on home. Can someone tell me how to fix this if it's even fixable yet? Chrome does this if you want to compare the user experience I'm missing since switching to Firefox. Thank you!

While scrolling around I saw something that said Firefox thinks I'm operating under 'Windows 10. NOT TRUE'. I've had Windows 11 for a while now. Does it make any difference? Russ Marshall

I chose to use Firefox a few months ago after starting to have problems with Chrome. At first it was great, no problems. Then just the other day, it showed it was doing a software update. OK, no big problem right. I thought. This morning I tried to go into a favorite web sit. It is were I get my main news from also, but this time I got a message showing that Cloudflare was blocking the channel, then said it was an error but to try back later. It just kept doing this. What is up with this. I won't accept this. I want this cloudflare disabled. You say it is your software for protecting your software. If I want my computer protected, I'll make the decision as to how it is protected. I want cloudflare removed or I'll find another web browser.

When I type something in Google search I have two issue. #1 it moves the search up to the browser address bar which is utterly annoying. I've tried finding ways to disable that and use Google the original way which I think most people prefer. But #2, more annoying than this is that starting in July 2024 the searches started randomly not working. You hit enter... nothing happens. I'll clear all the browser cache and history (everything selected) and it will work once or twice, then nothing. At first I thought maybe the enter key on my keyboard was going bad since it was seemingly a little intermittent, but no, it's not the keyboard... it's Firefox.

I also tried a full delete and reinstall of Firefox but that doesn't work either.

I also tried shutting off my free version of AVG, which I've had for quite awhile, and that didn't help either.

I have no idea what else to try and absolutely no idea what else could be causing this. I just know I use Google A LOT and have never liked other search engines.

So with that said, I think my days of using Firefox have come to an end. If someone doesn't post a legitimate fix to this by the end of the month (Aug 2024), I'm just going to delete and use Chrome. I don't feel I have any other choice at this point. This has simply become way too frustrating. And from what I've found, no one else has been able to resolve this either.

Is there any way for me to remove Bing appearing as the first thing whenever I open up Firefox? I've been using Firefox for a few years now and I never really bothered figuring it but now I actually want to. Any help is appreciated.

Firefox freezes intermittently, and when I examine the situation with Windows' Task Manager, I see a large number of Firefox threads active while I have only two tabs in use, and memory usage running rapidly up to the 50-70% range (I have 16 GB). While I'm not qualified, it seems there may be a memory leak issue. The situation clears itself after a just few or a few tens of seconds, but then may recur within a minute or so. This started a few weeks ago, now happens almost daily and is making Firefox, my preferred browser, somewhat unusable.

My system: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor Windows 10 Pro OS Build 19045.4842 Firefox Version 115? VPN Windscribe Version 2.10.16

My screen went black this morning and I couldn't get the screen to reappear. I turned the power off, then waited a minute or two before turning it back on. My usual screen with all the apps was gone and replaced by a generic "windows" screen. I had to re-enter all kinds of information and I'm finally able to see my bookmarks, but all of my documents and pictures stored on my computer are completely gone. Did Mozilla/Firefox perform an update? And if so, how do I get back to my personalized screen - and more importantly my stored documents and pictures?!!

Where are passwords imported from Safari saved to in my Mozilla or Firefox accounts?
